I came in with my iPhone XS Max with a shattered back and was greeted by such friendly staff. They were very attentive and had my phone finished within an hour. Very convenient to get your phone fixed and shop while it’s getting fixed. Highly recommend!!

Ive waited about 4 months before I posted a review to make sure the work held up. I literally ran over my Pixel 4XL with my truck. Screen was destroyed but phone miraculously still worked. I was traveling at the time and this was the only place in the Albany area that had a screen in stock and would do the repair on a Pixel phone. The repair was quick, at a reasonable price, and their work has held up. I would use them again.

I went to fix a smart phone, they charge me but they didnt fix the phone.

Scam, paid $26 today for a Galaxy S10 screen protector which they installed for me, however it is not even made for my phone! I asked for the box which they tried to throw out real quick and the packaging says nothing about galaxy s10 besides the sticker that THEY attached to it. There are bubbles under it which they said is because I have a curved phone screen and it isnt even centered! Lmao I guess I will have to live with it though as how I paid $26 for it and after writing this review I highly doubt they will let me return it. Unbelievable, the one time I decide to go in there I got exactly what I expected. On the plus side I did not that my phone case was slightly broken which it is and they did not try to sell me a new one which made me feel better, but still!See! The owner does not care one bit. Also I forgot to mention that the two employees working there today wore their masks as a chinstrap instead of covering their faces!

I went to iFix Here on a weekend, explained I needed a new battery for my phone, and was told they could order it immediately and that it would take a few days. The battery came in exactly when they said it would, I brought my phone back down, and the entire process only took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Wow - The staff here really go the second mile for their customers. My son needed a new battery for his MacBook Pro and through no fault of their own, iFix Here was sent the wrong one from the vendor. They were very apologetic and readily gave a discount for the extra trips I made to see them. They also did a full cleaning of the fans inside. When I mentioned a spec under my iPhone screen protector from the last time I bought one there, they simply replaced it without hesitation. They even affixed my iPad screen protector which I didn’t buy there with a smile, and it’s perfect every time. These are hard-working, honest people with good work ethic - you can’t teach that. This place sold me a screen protector that doesnt adhere to my phone. The alcohol wipe was dry and didnt clean the edges of my phone like it was supposed to. I paid $27 for a screen that I now have to replace again because of the poor quality garbage they sold me. Furthermore the instructions were misspelled and make no sense. This store buys the cheapest products and expects people to pay top price.I highly recommend not going to this store. Especially because the rude service person refused to put the screen on for me. This is how they make there money, sell garbage that doesnt work, then refuse to answer the phone when a customer calls.

So, I dont usually go out from my way to write the reviews but I wanted to tell about my experience with iFixHere. I brought my phone in couple months ago. It had some issues with the screen and power button, it wouldnt turn on at all. I knew they work only with hardware issues and the power button required soldering. But I just wanted to give it a shot and ask if anything could be done, since I wanted to keep the information out of it. And what happened was really impressive. This team at Colonie center went above and beyond and made my phone work without any charge for the parts or anything. They spent almost 2 days working on my phone for only 30$ where I got the quotes from other places not less than 100$. They said it was not their field of work but they would try. And they did it. And since then, all my friends and I go only to see them if I have any questions or problems with my devices. I know they will never refuse to help. Thank you guys. Truly appreciative!

This is one of the best places and the only place I go to, to fix my phone. The staff are friendly and know what their talking about. This is the only place in the mall that fixes apple watches, and all sorts of phones. Will always be coming back for fixing phones and other electronic devices.

So i bought a glass screen protector for my Samsung galaxy S10+. I was asked to remove my case so they could put it on. This was on a Saturday. On Monday it popped off. I returned and was told i couldnt use a screen protector and a case, it had to be either or. Something they didnt tell me when i initially went in. It was a sorry about your luck kind of attitude and he then ignored me too go to the next customer. $20 wasted.

My screen doesn’t work good after they replaced it. It’s a cheap screen replacement that they use. I knew not to expect top quality here but I expected at least something of fair quality for the price paid. Not even going to argue with them... the end result is a waste of time. Better off going to Apple and pay a couple more for screen replacement.

I just visited the location in the first floor of the mall and the service was excellent. My iPad had a piece of a charger break off in it and he repaired it right there on the spot. I’m very pleased with the service!

I had them fix my cracked Iphone 6 screen and it was done quickly. My phone was acting weird weeks later and I brought it to them and they looked at it for me and diagnosed the issue (unrelated) and didnt charge me. Nice and knowledgeable.

Brought my ipad2 here to refurbish it before presenting it as a gift. They installed a new screen and anti-glare protector in about an hour. After resetting the ipad to its factory settings, its in excellent condition and ready to be appreciated. A very good experience. Would recommend.

If I spend $200 to get a phone screen repaired, I expect it to be repaired. Not having to fix it myself after. If that was the case I couldve spent $100 to get a replacement screen and repaired it myself. These guys fixed my wifes screen after botching up the first repair. They promised to replace the phone with a brand new one if the repair wasnt up to par 2nd time around. Not only was it not up to par (I ended up just repairing it myself, screen kept coming off), they also didnt provide me with a brand new phone as they promised.Bunch of amateurs. Usually I repair my own phones but I was going on a vacation so thought spending $200 was worth it, but NOPE. Guys, consider yourself lucky that someone like me didnt open up a Phone repair store around you, youd be out of business.

Bought a dual car charger for Android from saleslady after asking for a dual android car charger for $15.99 plus tax on a Friday. Before i purchased i was told i could return the product if it did not work. When i opened the product i discovered that one port was Android and the other port was for Apple. When i went to receive a refund the following Tuesday, the employees had a conversation in another language then the saleslady refused to grant a refund saying the package was damaged so it couldnt be resold. Then she threatened to have security remove me for wanting to be refunded the $15.99 for a product i was told by the saleslady was a two port Android charger which wasnt. Shady business practices.

Do NOT think the ixxx automatically means that this store is an apple authorized repair store. It is NOT. It uses cheap parts with low quality, while charging the same price as the original. I replaced my cracked screen in this store, paid the same price as I would in an apple store. Within 24 hours, the screen cracked again - I didnt drop it or did anything unusual - the crack just appeared from one edge and extended gradually all the way to the other edge. I went back to the store, but was told that it was a physical damage and they can offer me at most 50% off for another replacement. They asserted that I must have done something wrong to the screen. If I didnt drop it, if nobody else touched it, then I must have put something sharp on the screen - Probably, I did put my finger, which has to include my nail, on the screen. Or, probably thats because I put the phone on my ear and my earstud cracked it. I guess this says enough about the quality of the screen they use. I called Apple and was confirmed that Ifixhere is NOT an apple authorized repair store. So I had to go to the apple store and get my screen replaced again - all within 24 hours. If you want to repair your device, remember to call the manufacture and ask for contact information of authorized repair stores. Do not waste your time and get ripped off by this store.

DO NOT GO HERE TO FIX YOUR PHONE!!! I brought my iPhone in to ifixhere have the screen fixed... Took it home and realized the WiFi had stopped working. Took it back a second time, and they fixed it, but still not connecting 100%. They had not put it back together correctly and the wireless was still broken. Now theyre saying I need to bring it back a third time! it takes me 20 minutes each way to get there and they havent been able to fix the phone on 2 separate occasions.They dont use genuine parts. You can buy the some parts online yourself and fix the screen for $20.Update: I ended up going to Apple and getting a replacement phone for a little more than this placed charges just for a screen repair.They are scam artists and dont know what theyre doing. Im contacting my credit card company to open a claim dispute, since they refuse to refund me.

I’m going to start out simple. THIS PLACE SUCKS! I’m serious, “IFix Here” (more like “iBrake More”) shouldve been out of business a long time ago. All of the 5 star reviews were obviously people paid to write good reviews. There is nothing good about this place! I brought one of my test-devices (an iPad 2) to fix the screen because all of the places I went to buy screens were sold out.... so I decided to give the place a try right? How bad could it be? HUGE MISTAKE! They had rude customer service, refunds are a lie if they say you can refund within 2 days, they are overpriced (and don’t make me get into that topic), and they break your device even more! Just want to start off by saying that if the work was done as promised and properly, I wouldve given a 5 star rating.I have a Moto Z2 Play which I dropped and the screen shattered. I was going to be traveling out of the country mid-November and couldnt be without a phone prior to that. Hence I forego going through Sprint insurance as they dont have Service and Repair centers anymore. My husband mentioned that these guys repair phones, and he is good with phone repairs himself but as we were busy getting ready for our trip, we just thought it would be easy to pay the extra $50 for the repair on top of whatever the screen costs.So we went there, the guy seemed legit and he gave us a timeframe on when the replacement screen would arrive. He told us the screen would be there by Friday the 17th. We showed up to the store on Friday the 17th, and his first response was Its not here. But then when we mentioned that the delivery date from the vendor he gets the parts from was end of business day Friday, he called someone, then he went through his shipment received for the day, and said Oh I found it, its right here!That shouldve been a red flag in itself. He said it will take maybe an hour to put the screen back together, so we went around, shopped and came back. When we returned, he said the touchscreen wasnt working now which was working even with the shattered screen. He said hell replace my phone completely with a brand new one if he couldnt fix it. My husband is very patient and lenient so he said hell give me his Flex 2 and well get my phone back once we return from our trip in 3 weeks time. I was naturally bummed out, but I understood that it was a rushed attempt to get it fixed and things dont always work out if youre waiting at the last hour.When we returned, I got my phone and once we got home, I realized that the front flash was missing, the screen wasnt glued back properly (watch the iFixit video for replacing the Moto Z2 Play screen), and none of the motion activated actions were working. The front camera was completely blurry. My husband easily peeled off the screen, which made us both realize that these guys didnt use the proper repair kit (the screen replacement kit costs $140 from eBay or iFixit website, and comes with the adhesive tape that goes under the screen). We realized that the flash is missing completely. He was able to fix the motion activated actions and the front camera but the small flash flex cable was not there at all.My husband went back to these guys and showed them whats going on. He mentioned that they promised us that they would replace the phone fully if they couldnt return it to us fixed properly. They gave him the runaround for a while, but he told them I wasnt going to stay without a working phone and they should hold up to their side of the bargain. This guy had the audacity to ask my husband to give the front flash from HIS phone, or just have me use my phone without a front flash for the time being until the parts come out as this is a very new phone and parts arent available.They didnt want to replace the phone like they said they would, so instead started going through their little boxes of teardowns to see if they can find the tiny front flash flex cable. Eventually they found it and put it back, but still didnt attach the screen fully. My husband fixed it at home when he came back, because he actually knows how to fix these things, unlike these professionals who clearly cant deliver.If youre tech savvy at all, stay away from these guys. Total rip-off. I just wish I was patient enough to have my husband repair the phone himself when we returned from our overseas trip. We paid $200 for nothing as the part costs around $140 (if the full front display replacement kit was ordered). They clearly didnt order the legit replacement with the adhesive, and on top of that made an extra $60 for taking a screen apart, and barely putting it back together.

If I could chose no stars, I would! This place is an absolute joke and only care about taking a of your money! They ordered a cheap screen for my note 5 off eBay! Not to mention over charged me when I could have just bought it myself. It stopped working not even 2 weeks after they fixed it and tried blamming it on the screen from eBay and made it ebays problem to send a New screen under warentee, which they wouldnt. So now they claim they cant fix my phone for me without having to pay them more money then I already have. 380$ you would think was enough. Not to mention when i first came back about the problem, they didnt comprehend that they just fixed it so they then tried saying $212 to fix it. They have no set price and They get terrible parts from eBay! Needless to say, I have no phone.

The staff was very friendly and empathetic towards my situation as I heavily rely on my phone for both work and play.I dropped my galaxy s6 from chest height and it landed squarely on the upper right hand corner and shattered the screen in a horribly beautiful array of colors that nobody ever wants to see on their device. In todays society we tend to rely on our phones more and more every day and being without a working phone for any amount of time can be stressful.I was very relieved to find out that I didnt have to wait a week through all the verizon B.S. to recieve a replacement phone. No need to transfer all my contacts, memory card or sim card as I kept the same device (huge plus for me!).They gave me the quote before the fix and there were no hidden fees, very cut and dry which I truly appreciate as with any business.For anyone else like me that doesnt have time to waste waiting for things, this is the perfect quick fix solution. I dropped my device off in the morning, went shopping, grabbed some lunch, and by the time I stopped back in it was ready. Quick, convenient, and effective. Thanks again guys!! :)

Shady vibes.1 - Here are the facts:After the guy said he could fix my phone he took it, asked for my passcode and without a word started punching in things and opening things, using it to call the store and speak I into it - all very quickly behind the counter where I couldnt see. I said: What are you doing and why did you need my passcode? And his reply was he was checking to see if everything worked ok. Well thats something you can ask me. If he had asked, I would have verified that the only issue is the cracked glass on the screen.Lesson learned: I gave my passcode away right away to someone I dont know. Next time Ill be more cautious.2 - I worked it out with him that right then hed hand me the phone, Id change the passcode, and give it back to him to work on. He resisted a bit, saying he needed to test it after it was fixed, but I said, if need be Id come back for that step. Because, come on! I have so much on my phone that I dont want a total stranger to have access to!But then, I go to sign the contract and Im reading it and it says I agree to everything on the rear of the document, only there is no rear! I ask where the other part of the contract is and he acts like he doesnt know what Im talking about. He actually tells me it must be referring to the top of the document where I printed my name and number.Needless to say, I am now looking for another place to get my phone fixed.And those are the facts. Make of them what you will.

This place was terrible, messed up our new iPad way worse than it was when we brought it in and then tries to double charge us when we bring it back in to have it fixed again. This place is robbing everyone who goes to it, they dont even fix it. Apple told us the store who fixed it actually made it way worse and then wont even fix that. Colonie center should not be allowing this store to rob its customers. I will be boycotting this store and Colonie center mall!

They fixed my phone, but for a hefty price. I was quoted $150 to fix the screen for my Samsung galaxy s4. They told me it would be done in an hour. When I showed back up to pay, the price had jumped and they were now charging me $269.99. When I disputed the charge saying I would have never agreed to that price the sales person became defensive and rude and said they were going to call the police if I didnt give them a payment. Beware of the bait and switch. I would never do business with this company again nor recommend it to anyone.
