I love the views and lay outside of the apartments great job

I lived at Kiva apartments for one year. The management was responsive to my communications at all times. The neighbors observe the Quiet time rule of 10:00 P.M. to 07:00 A.M. The apartments are well maintained. The only negative is that you cant install window A/C units. For a few days in the summer, the apartment got warm to 85 °. However, the temp drops quickly after 05:00 P.M. I recommend the upstairs apartments. I think that they cool off quicker in the summer evenings.--One suggestion that I have is to place a clothes rod in the laundry rooms to make it easier to hang permanent press clothes when you get them out of the dryer; another suggestion is to have an extra trash pickup on the weekend or add two more dumpsters. It gest really messy on weekends.--The washing machines dont fill up with enough water, so I often had to rinse dark clothes twice to eliminate soap spots.--Internet access is good, although Spectrum never delivered the speeds that they promised. I did consistently get 45 mbps download , and 25 mbps upload, with excellent quality for the connection.--I was treated fairly on the move-out. Yes, you might have to jump through hoops to get an apartment here, but the quality of the tenants makes it worthwhile.

The storage unit manager is lazy and rude. 11/26/2020 that is not a true statement, I have been calling the office since 11/13/2020 and finally decided to email and ask for a call back and it took you 9 days after to receive a call back instead of emailing me. I still have not heard from the owner.

The manager was super rude. They had me jumping through obstacles, just to block me.

While I agree that the staff is courteous and friendly, the quality of the seals on the lockers is terrible. I found everything in my unit covered with a thick layer of dust.Do invest in a better facility if you have anything of balue.

These are the best apartments. Verry clean landscaped exterior and updated interior. Most units feature dishwashers.

I LOVE IT HERE!!! Im lost as to the one negative review. It sounds to me- more like a disgruntled customer rather than a real problem. Lets get a few things straight real quick. I have rented a storage unit for 8+ years from Southside Rentals and i have had ZERO issues. The office staff is amazing, smart and courteous. From 2014 to 2017 i rented a one bedroom and then transferred to a 2-bed at Kiva Apartments. I travel for work so i have lived in apartments for the better part of 20 years. the one bedroom did not look 5 years old. it was well kept, updated with modern appliances, new carpet and paint. rent reasonable and better yet when i went to kiva they were BRAND NEW apts. Upscale higher end looking apartments. Something i was more accustomed to coming from the city.ALL I CAN SAY IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH SOUTHSIDE AND KIVA WAS AMAZING AND I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RENT FROM THEM AGAIN.

Worst storage in Alamosa. my unit was broken into twice. Owner promised to update cameras for angles after first time. I struggle to make payments each month and they have no problem taking possession of your stuff.
