Took our 2018 Honda Civic hatchback for a full around tint job. When I came to pick up the car, it looked ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I’m on day 4 of the no window roll down and the tint has zero bubbles and look professionally done as expected. I had my 2014 Dodge Durango tinted by them a year prior and the tint still looks like it’s brand new. Definitely recommend them. Very great, faithful team here! 5 + stars! If you are in the area, dont even think about going somewhere else for audio. Even short staffed they were able to get my car done in the time frame that worked for me. The installation is VERY clean and the 12 RF sounds amazing. Ive already had people ask me about it, and where I got it installed. Ill be coming back for window tint for sure. (Also having a lifetime warranty on the installation is very reassuring).

We’ve taken all of our vehicles to the guys at Basin Electronics for custom sound system design and upgrades. Ben and team are always very friendly and helpful, as well as detail-oriented to the highest degree- they are total perfectionists! We’ve been extremely pleased with the state-of-the-art ceramic tinting that they offer. Having the clear ceramic tint installed on the inside of the windshields of two of our rides has been amazing. We had TV monitors taken out of our vehicle. Basin did an excellent job, very reasonably priced, in a timely manner, and they have a friendly staff. Will definitely go back again if we need anything else done.

Basin Electronics its a very nice shop with top of the line products and service. I procured a window tint service; the quote was very fair and the quality of the film is great. Very impress with the tinting facility; its a sterile area dedicated just for tinting where no outside particles are allowed to fly in and interfere with the process. Lastly all the film is cut digitally by a plotter eliminating the human error on trimming.

Staff was extremely polite and helpful. I went in and was helped within 15 minutes which was great because I was on my lunch hour. Antonio went above and beyond to help me and even left me the information to help me in the future. Will definitely go back in the future with all of my electronic needs!!!

Very friendly and customer service oriented personnel. First time walking in and I had answers to all my questions in very short time. Would definitely recommend them to people wanting to improve their car audio. People may complain about prices, but that comes with the territory of this business. Cheap can be found at box stores like Wal Mart or online if you prefer to install it yourself. I prefer to leave it to the professionals.

On a personal level, I really like these guys. They have done a lot of good work on my van, are polite, competent and honest. I have had very pleasant conversations with the mother of the owner. Definitely good people. However, they-- very much like the Dry Cleaners across the street and so many other businesses in this relatively remote town--clearly suffer from lack of competition or they would not be able to sell junk like the 2017 Kenwood DDX9604S (with Android interface). I have spent the best part of three days to get it installed and subsequently troubleshooted, and it is still a daily aggravation, which cost me more than $1,200.00 (incl. rearview camera). First, they didn’t discover that my 2014 Ford Transit Connect is not equipped with an interface module until after the unit was installed. As a result, I am unable to use any of the vehicle monitoring functions, a big letdown. Then, it took three visits, before the usb cable connection is finally stable and reliable. Prior to the third visit I ended up replacing the cable at least once a month as it seemed to burn out. But the worst offender is the touchscreen, which is lagging by at least five seconds, if it responds at all and the Bluetooth connection resets at least once per half hour, causing me to frequently drive to and from work without music because I just can’t be bothered rebooting the system. When I am in an unfamiliar city and want to use GPS to navigate, I will have to idle my vehicle for at least 30 seconds before it finally tells me which way to turn out of the parking lot, so I end up using just my phone and google maps (like I used). It’s much faster and allows me to avoid using Android Auto, which is mandatory for the Kenwood unit and one of those shark apps, designed to totally control your cell phone and your life (hate it!). So, after spending more than $1,200.00 and nearly three days of my life all I have is a different rearview camera (already had one before), a compass (the best feature of the unit), frequently interrupted music, unreliable GPS and—no, no charger for my phone either, as Android Auto requires so much power that it only just barely keeps up the state of my phone battery. If I actually want to charge the phone, I have to plug it into my cigarette lighter. Junk. Supposedly, they are hoping for a firmware update to resolve some of these issues. After a year, I am not holding my breath. So, if you are in the market for new hands-free car audio, get it done next time you are in Las Cruces or Albuquerque. Ive been to Basin Electronics twice and I was very happy with the service.

Staff is courteous and knowledge. That means a win win for the customer.

This shop is a joke!!They charge $95 an hour for shop labor. Best Buy wanted $300 to install a pre purchased light bar and their Viper remote start. He said he would be at $418. I wanted to keep my money local and help out a small business, but I’m not going to be robbed by doing so!Just do yourself a favor, and go to Las Cruces or El Paso, and let overpriced places like this go under!

Probably the worst customer service Ive ever encountered at a car audio shop. Ive been there a dozen times and each time I walk in, nobody acknowledges me or asks if they can help me. They just take a quick look at me and thats it. I guess they dont give a crap about return customers since they are the only store in this town. Prices are extremely high as well.

I have had several custom stereo systems installed with you guys,2009 335 BMW (wifes) 2012 corvette (wifes) my 2013 Ram 2500 mega cab, man I miss that truck:) and just recently my 2012 F350. Absolutely ridiculous make sure you get a written price quote; when you go pick up your car they try to add additional labor and they will try to charge extra for additional wires that they included in an original quote. Save your self the anguish and drive out to El Paso or las cruces. Oh yeah, and their military discount is bs; please dont get swindled by these crooks.

I have worked with these guys for years. It is so complicated to figure out what my needs are and what components I need. I hate dealing with these new cars. When i go into basin I tell the guys this is what I would like to have done tell them what my expectations are and they give me a map and price of what it will cost. They never try to sell me extras or things I dont need. I also had an amp go bad one time and they said no problem we will get it warrantied and prelaced hassle free. I have zero headaches and even if i change my mind and need something tuned they take care of that as well. I dont have time to research or do warranty or any of those things. I just want some place I can take my stuff and not worry about getting ripped or some guy who has no idea what he is doing selling me stuff that corporate needs to unload. I go to basin elec and its hassle free Thanks Guys recomend you to all the people I can.
