City Mowing did professional work for a reasonable price.

Saw all of the great reviews so I emailed and got a receipt stating wed be contacted about starting service. I emailed back asking for someone to call as we have 5 small dogs and a unique shaped fenced area and we needed to discuss how to access and address the dog issues. The response we got was, what is there to discuss?I felt that was a but abrupt but continued trying to find out about the service, he finally said hed be out the following week to look at our lawn. Finally on Thursday of the next week I emailed asking if hes going to give us an estimate, I did provide a out should he decide we were too much trouble.He took the out, said he was too busy with side jobs to take on new work, Im guessing the side jobs were more lucrative than a multi year gig with older retired folk who were excited to use him for landscaping, maintenance and lawn care.Im not sure how he got all those 5 star reviews, but for us, a dismal experience to say the least.

Yowza. Called the number provided on their website, it rang and went to voicemail. Instructions said to call a DIFFERENT NUMBER for service inquiries. OK, no problem. I wasnt prepared to write down the number so I called back with the intent of getting the number. This time someone answered. Didnt catch his name because reception was bad but he chewed me out for not just leaving a voicemail and implied that I was the bad guy for interrupting his lawn care in process, and hung up on me.Not sure how their phone system works or if I just got a bad apple employee but if this is indicative of their service...would definitely not recommend.In response to owners response: the voicemail literally instructs the caller to call a different number for service inquiries. Maybe update your voicemail if thats not what you want people to do. Excellent professionalism on display here. Im more than happy to not be the best fit with this business.

Just bought my first home, and found City Mowing from word of mouth to cut mygrass and redo some of the plants around my home in the flowerbeds. Glad I went with him. Very polite, on time, nice truck and trailer that won’t leak oil in my driveway. Very Professional. Would definitely recommend.

Best guy around!!! I’ve paid numerous of the big names the past 6yrs and have fired them all. Dave takes your yard personel and has conversations about where you want to go with your yard and gets it done. He doesn’t just show up and spray watered down product just to make a dollar.
