When my father passed away, we used Newcomer and were amazed at the service, professionalism and help that was given to us. However, things seem to have changed there. Everything from my Mothers make-up to not having police escort, canopy, chairs and table for coffin at cemetary yesterday; our so called coordinator blamed on everyone else. She did not even TRY to apologize. I would reconsider using this funeral home for those of you whove lost a loved one.

I never write reviews but this place deserves so so so much more praise for the over and beyond they went for my son and daughter in law. Losing a baby is the hardest thing anyone could possibly ever go through and for them of enduring it two times in a row planning a funeral wasnt easy by no means. The mom had battled back and fourth over the phone and email with the hospitals, pathology department and funeral home. Trying to get this baby to the funeral home and be put to rest. With so many unanswered questions and such pain they were feeling the whole world felt like it was coming down. Joe one of the workers made it very clear he was not playing about the situation and that the baby was being picked up by his staff and they were going to answer our questions!! Within 5 minutes Mr Joe got everything he needed and they were able to name the baby and with joes help arrange a funeral for their stillborn baby boy. In such a horrible time Newcomers funeral home turned over a 2,000$ arrangements into a very very reasonable amount. Reasonable isnt even the right words for this they basically handed everything to my daughter in law with such sorrow and hat they hardly payed anything at all. She came home with tears of joy with a little gift they had gave her for the baby. I cant say how amazing this place is and how much they truly truly care for everyone involved and they will absolutely do everything in their power to make things absolutely perfe t!!!!Newcomers thank you for everything!!

My mother and I had a wonderful experience here. I believe it was a woman named Melissa that was our funeral director. She was very kind and walked us through everything giving us as much time as we needed. There was no pressure about any services and the home is very reasonably priced.

I had called a previous funeral home after my dads passing, I didn’t like the vibe I got from them it just didn’t feel right. So I called newcomer the next morning. From the first phone call with Charles to meeting them and the arrangements I felt so at ease with newcomer. They are very respectful and made the process as easy as it could be for me and my family. Thank you Charles and Newcomer family for helping me and my family through this process.

After my Dad’s passing, I was at a loss emotionally as well as physically exhausted. We elected to use Newcomer Funeral Home after several friends and relatives raved about their kindness and professionalism. Managing Funeral Director Robyn Deterling was diplomatic, kind, compassionate, and solicitous in approach. She is detail-oriented and made every aspect easy to comprehend. The whole experience was pleasant and thorough; we are truly grateful for the civility, respectability, and expertise provided so we could manage an intimate funeral service to honor my father. I would very highly recommend this place to those in need during the most difficult circumstances.

Joe went above and beyond with helping me plan my father’s funeral. I could not ask for a better service for my father. It was beautiful. Also, Kimberly Watson was very professional and kind. I would not use another funeral home. Thank you for helping me. I can’t express enough the gratitude I have for your funeral home and staff.

Its been three years since my Mom has passed and Im just now writing my review. I was extremely upset and unkind to the funeral director when my Mom was not cremated in a timely fashion. However, this was not the fault of the funeral home or their employees. I would -and do- reccomend Newcomer Funeral Home as they are good people that do very good work.

Kind and caring staff. Was not rushed to be out of the facility at the end of the service as has been my experience with other local funeral service businesses.

These people are scammers. They make me think of con artists. Completely unprofessional, tried to upsell the most expensive merchandise and take advantage. Did I mention they say they do receptions but... they dont? Theyll put you in touch with a caterer but they dont do receptions. Complete lie. I will never recommend this funeral home to anyone I care about.

Total disgust is what I have to say. A private viewing which is monitored by staff. The Father of the decest was told No he couldnt see his son because it wasnt considered an actual viewing. Begging to get in to see his son, the staff member let him in with great resistance.Never have I seen such unprofessionalism at a time when family needs comfort.

The team at Newcomers really went above and beyond as far as I am concerned . I was widowed 1 1/2 years ago and they helped me get through it . Let me tell you that I would NOT HAVE if it wasnt for their patience and understanding . I would recommend them to EVERYONE and I actually hope they are there for my family when I go home to be with the Lord and the rest of my family and friends !!!
