I am a avid ice fisherman, my float suit zipper broke. They where recommended to try to fix it for me. These ladies where awesome they had there hands full trying to fix this for me, but they didnt give up. Fixed it like new, fantastic place I highly recommend.

You won’t find better alterations in all of Akron! I have taken at least a dozen items to these ladies and they are always flawless, efficient, and knowledgeable. Plus, they have the cutest shop dog ever! I have taken them formal dresses, pants, draperies, leather, and tablecloth‘s. Super chill environment and I always enjoying seeing Licia and Danielle! I moved to Cleveland 12 years ago and I still drive to LA Alterations anytime I have a need. I cannot recommend this shop high enough!

Danielle and Licia are so great! Ive been using them for years. Theyve done everything from hemming jeans, to altering a million bridesmaids dresses, to custom work on my bridal gown and veil (they made a sash and veil out of my moms gown and veil). I needed to have a zipper fixed on my bodysuit, the lady was very pleasant, she fixed the zipper in less than 5 mins and simply refused to take any money from me I was shocked.. The lady told me next time bring her back something harder to fix lol!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 great staff and customer service very friendly. I will definitely return with something harder lol!!

Had 2 pair new jeans need I g waistband taken in and hem shortened, plus 2 pair of old jeans that needed repairs due to wear over the years. All the work that was done was fantastic. The new jeans fit great, and Ill get a lot more use out of the old ones.The work was also done 3 days earlier than expected, and they call to let you know its done. Staff is professional and polite. Will use them in the future, Im sure. Definitely woul recommend.

Licia has done all of our alterations and repairs for years. From my wife’s wedding dress in 98 to my son’s scout uniform last week. Could not ask for better quality or service. I would not go anywhere else.

I had two holes in my parka and when I dropped it off it seemed hopeless because the holes but when I went back both holes were gone and the parka looked brand new. Awesome place definitely going to return.

Really all I can say is wow! Came in first thing in the morning with an issue with my wife’s riding jacket. We were walking out in 5 minutes with a fixed jacket. I will be using this fine establishment for everything leather I need repaired, altered, or added!

I am typically supportive of small businesses. However, I will not be returning to this place. Not only is it outdated, you have to pay an extra fee if you’re using a card, and they increased their prices, but they no longer respect customers whatsoever. They lie about the work they’ve done, are very prideful about the work they lie about, and are extremely rude to customers. Take your clothing elsewhere.

The folks here are willing to work with you. I had a special Santa belt custom made for me. The work was lovely and not at an outrageous cost! For anything leather, this is my new go to.

I bought a leather gun holster from Italy that was supposed to be made for my pistol, well they didnt put enough stiching in it and my gun was way too loose. So I took it here and asked if she could fix it, next thing I know shes in the back making it right, she did a better job than they did and wouldnt take any money. What a wonderful place and very friendly... theyve got my business!

Amazing tailoring, excellent work. She handmade a dress for me for a friends wedding and it was no only perfect, but breathtaking as well. She is also one of the only people in the area who can do high quality leatherwork. Biking jackets and pants to purses, this angel can do it all! Her prices are fair and she sells some of her goods there. Stop by and give her some business. She deserves it, and you ALL have something in your closet that needs tailoring. And if you dont, then buy something shes made and have it altered! Support local businesses and business women like her.

We all know ordering offline can be crazy with sizes well I will never worry again I received my daughters dress on a friday a week before her Pageant and it was way to big I called LA and they were so happy to help me get this dress fitted to size..Not only did they go above and beyond in customer service they treated us like family..The dress was more like a wedding dress for a little girl and i told them my short time frame they had my dress done Monday morning only 2 days after getting it.The dress was perfect and we are very happy with the service..If you need it done right and on time this is the place..Im happy to say I will be using them EVERY TIME..
