I went to Alterations by Lois to have my bridesmaids dress altered before my cousins wedding. Lois was professional and kind. She quickly responded when I called her and she had my dress finished way quicker than I expected. The work she did was impeccable. The dress turned out perfect and her prices are very fair. I highly recommend and will be a return customer for any alterations. She is truly a gifted seamstress!

While I am a seamstress myself, I knew I could not alter my own wedding dress. I was nervous to take my dress to just anyone, as the skirt was multiple layers of tulle that have to be precisely cut. You only get one cut, mistakes cant be corrected in this type of skirt! I met with Lois and immediately knew she would take good care of my dress. She measured, the hem, sewed the underlining layers, then had me come back to double check before she cut the tulle. She also bustled the skirt by tucking it underneath the lace flowing from the bodice so it was hidden. The alterations were perfect. Lois is professional, skilled, and very pleasant to work with!

Lois is a GODSEND! My dress is made completely of delicate lace and I was so nervous about having it altered. She does fantastic work. I was 9 months pregnant and needed a bridesmaid dress altered, davids bridal wanted to charge me over $150. Then I found this lovely lady and decided to give her a try based on her good reviews. Not only did she do a great job, but she had it done in less than a week, charged me half of what Davids bridal charged, and her customer service is amazing, she is truly a nice person with a great personality. She did an amazing job on my prom dress that many other places I took it to for alterations wouldnt touch because it was all sequins & would be very difficult. But she took it no problem.
