I have been going to Giovannis for a little over two years now and have only had good experiences. I recommend any barber in the shop (Dan, Gio, Caleb); however, Sean Merritt is my barber. Sean listens to exactly what you want and gets It right every time. I have been to many barbers around the Akron area throughout my life but after my first cut with Sean I refuse to go anywhere else.Once again I highly recommend this shop to anyone and dont forget to tip your barber!

Fantastic barber shop. Friendly guys, excellent work (both hair and beard), and very fair prices for their services. Also quite appreciate them using an app for booking appointments as it makes my life a ton easier and also discourages walk ins who mess up appointment times. Everyone seems to take COVID precautions pretty seriously (all the barbers wear masks) and I doubt thered be a problem if you wanted to wear one during a cut to stay extra safe.

Been my mainstay for years! Great little shop with a very clean, modern environment, good location, and the best barbers in the Akron area! Highly recommend visiting Sean if you can. They take appointments via an App called The Cut and walk ins are welcome depending if theres a time slot available. Saturdays are open to all, first come first serve.

New to the area, checked out a few places looking for a decent barber. Everywhere I went was mediocre at best - no consistency.. Then I popped into Giovannis and got Dan as a walk in.. 10/10 across the board. This place really surprised me. Extremely professional, very clean, and the barbers all know exactly what they are doing. Friendly atmosphere, and Daniel VanHorn is top tier in his craft. Highly recommended.

I’m a truck driver and have a hard time finding a good barbershop over the road.I gave this place a try and they did a very good job. I got a skin fade with a 2 on top and was very satisfied. The fade was excellent. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area. This place is the real deal NOT an overpriced salon with lousy barbers.

The barbers at Giovanni’s are amazing. I’ve been getting my cuts from Sean for a few months now and highly recommend him. Sean is a phenomenal barber who takes his time, asks questions, and delivers a perfect haircut every time. Even though Giovanni’s is an hour away from where I work, I make the trip every couple of weeks because his cuts are consistently worth it. ** Update ** Amazing with kids. My 3 year-old has been terrified to get his hair cut. I dont know what special sauce theyve got there, but he tolerated the cut and only whimpered a bit.So 5 stars it is... without question. Everyone at work loves em too.- - -I REALLY liked it here but, given Ive only been there once, I cant really give a 5-star yet.I go to a barber for a haircut. Everything else is a distant 2nd. I would say I ended up with not just a cut but also a style. In fact, when it was all done I felt Id been to a stylist that would charge $30 for a cut.Most barbers in the area are good at short cuts, dated styles, etc. If you have slightly longer hair it all goes to hell.I cant tell you how impressed I was with this shop. But when its your name on the sign outside, you have to be vested in the quality of the product.Id recommend it to a friend. I do think hes too cheap so dont be a creep - tip well.

I always go to Sean when I go to Giovanni’s and he does a great job. All the barbers are very nice, personable people. It doesn’t matter who cuts your hair they are experienced and good at what they do.

Everybody here does a great job, friendly and professional atmosphere and never had a bad haircut since coming here. Went to famous hair once to get a cut since it was close to home(big mistake). Decided to drive the extra 20 miles to get it fixed, they never disappoint!

Gio is an excellent barber with a lot of experience. He always gets my hair faded and cut properly, despite the fact that I change my hair style every few months. Everyone at Giovanni’s does top notch work that doesn’t disappoint.

These boys are the real deal. Giovanni, Pat, and Mike. Each of them have given me a cut, and sent me home happy as could be. Sometimes theres a wait, and it probably isnt the cheapest haircut/beard trim you can find, but I dont need to go anywhere else. If you want to pinch pennies, go to sport clips. If you want your hair cut by a real barber that will send you on your way looking and feeling good, this is where you need to go. When my boy gets his first haircut, were going to Giovannis. Bring cash, no cards.

Sean cut my hair did a terrible job I have 3 different spots that hair was left long. Fade was uneven. He told me that would be 15 dollars I handed him a 20 and he said thanks have a good day and walked away as if a 5 dollar tip was earned. Do not recommend this shop.

Gio, Pat, and Mike are all great barbers! I have been going for over a year now and wouldnt go anywhere else. They take their time and know how to style hair. The only other place I have gotten a similar quality haircut was at a stylist in downtown Washington, DC that cost $40.

Ive gotten my haircut by everyone there. They all do a solid job. The environment of the shop is great and the barbers there are all cool guys. Sometimes it can be busy, but thats to be expected with any quality barber shop.

Pat has been cutting my hair for going on over a year now. I have followed him around from shop to shop with never a complaint. He has always been on time for me and willing to try things outside of the box for my haircut choices. Not only is he a great barber but also a very good guy to talk with, makes for a real barber shop experience. When he started working there I went for my cut and knew what to expect. The owner is also one of the barbers there and is a stand up guy as well. Two awesome barbers at that shop if you are looking for a new barber or just need an emergency cut head on over....and dont worry THEY CAN DO A PROPER LINE UP. Which is one of my biggest fears when choosing a new barber. Check them out!!!

Walked in around 4:15 PM on a Tuesday and had two people ahead of me in line. 45 minutes later and the two ahead of me had just been seated. To top it off, each barber had appointments filing in.Maybe they do a nice job cutting hair, but I can’t wait 90+ minutes to find out.
