I like the location, Sometimes the barbers tend to run a fast cut as if they are busy, and I get it. Its just a habit that keeps thing moving, but please slow it down a bit when there is no waiting. I wish they would add the traditional razor clean up at the end of every cut, I do expect that at barbershop with licensed barbers. Perhaps offer to trim the eyebrows? Also, sweep up a little more frequently.. I am a fan of this place but I politely encourage you to consider my suggestions in making this good barbershop a great one.

Old school barber shop. Visited to get a hair cut while I was on a road trip from Michigan to Virginia. My barber did a great job and I was in and out in 20 minutes.

Had a lady cut my hair. It was the worst, most rushed hair cut I have ever received. There was no line so no reason to rush. Incredibly unprofessional. Best cuts is 5 starts in comparison.

I hesitate to write this review, because one of the things I love about this place is that it is small and uncrowded. But I would be doing these guys a disservice not to write a review, because I love this place.I have lived all over the country, from Ohio to New York City, to a variety of other places and I have had my hair cut in a wide range of barbershops and salons. I just plain like these guys. They are friendly, easy-going, and accessible. Its an every-mans barbershop with no frills and no pretension. You always feel welcome and instantly comfortable.The fact that they have thrived for many years despite the arrival of a Great Clips barber shop right next door is a testament to the quality of their service and the way they treat their customers.

Beware! Do not use the lady on the right side as you walk in the shop. She is the 2nd chair in. I asked her for a quick trim on the top and a #4 clippers on the side. She proceeded to use the clippers on the side and most of the top of my head.I wanted a trim and went in with about 2.5 inches on the top of my head and came out with a cut that measures less than 1/2 inch of hair on the top of my head and shaved (less than a #4) on the side. She doesnt allow you to look in the mirror when she cuts, therefore you have no idea how much she is cutting off.Horrible cut! I too have lived all over the country and most of my time out of Ohio, this was by far the worse haircut Ive ever received.
