I will never take my car anywhere else! This shop is owned and run by a local father and son duo who are extremely knowledgeable and skilled. They are fairly priced, never try to sell you things you dont need, and always do impeccable work.

My vehicle recently surpassed both dealer and Mfg mileage warranties and I was looking for a local, honest, reliable, and fairly priced, automotive repair shop (sounds like snipe hunting right?). I am so pleased to have finally found one after my recent experience with Williams Automotive! They recently replaced a failing water pump on my Grand Cherokee, and the level of service from my initial contact to schedule the appointment through completion of the repair was impeccable. Ken, his son, and their team were very thorough and the repair was priced fairly. A well-respected exotic car dealer in The portage lakes recommended Williams automotive to me. He told me to stop wasting my money at the dealership and at least give these guys a try. When my car wouldnt start we easily determined that the starter battery was bad so I called the dealer... They quoted me $900 plus $225 an hour for installation. Thats just outrageous. I understand if theres programming or finicky things that only the dealer can do but changing a battery? I called these guys and for $227 I got a new battery within an hour. I also found out that their hourly rate is less than half of the dealership and can do anything like services that I need to do. just about the only cars these guys dont work on are Ferrari and Lamborghini. Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Maserati (junk), Porsche anything really. Im going to have them perform the upcoming service on my wifes Lexus for 1/3 of the dealers quote. They run a very tight shop, the facilities are clean and the gentleman who runs the actual business taught automotive repair for 32 years. His son actually owns the business and they work together. The best part though is that these guys know their limits. Theyre not going to take a shot on fixing your car if they arent 100% certain that they can do it. In my opinion its simply smart business to go to them first and if they cant do it then go to the dealer. (Or Earl!)

This family owned automobile repair shop is honest and affordable. They are very upfront about what needs to be done and what doesn’t. The father and son are both excellent Mechanics. I definitely recommend them for repair work on imported cars.

I was referred to Williams Automotive by another mechanic. I own classic vehicles that dont have ECMs (computer modules). It takes a REAL MECHANIC to work on my cars. I am truly impressed by their expertise. I was charged a fair rate for their time.

Took my BMW here for a wheel bearing. Price was more than reasonable and the owner was incredibly friendly, which is pretty uncommon for a mechanic since they tend to be a little salty at times. He knows a lot about foreign cars and works quickly. Will exclusively be going to Williams in the future.

A friend suggested Williams to us. We were very pleased with the work on two vehicles we have taken there. They love cars and working on them and it shows.

I took my vehicle to Williams Automotive because the check engine light was on and it wouldnt pass e-check. They diagnosed the issue and explained what it would take to get it fixed. They didnt just replace the defective parts and hand the car back to me. They put in an extra 2.5 HOURS of time driving my car over the weekend to get the emissions system to the state that it would pass e-check AND they went to the e-check station to make sure it passed and got my vehicles certificate for me. Friendly, honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable are all adjectives that Id use to describe the guys that run Williams Automotive. I cant imagine taking our vehicles anywhere else.

I had a dealership tell me that I needed a bunch of work done to my car. I took it to Ken for a second opinion. He looked the car over thoroughly, and told me not all they suggested was even necessary. Ken worked on my car first thing on a Saturday and had it ready for me in time to attend an event that evening. He did a ton of work, and the price was incredibly reasonable. I didnt realize how bad my car was riding until he worked on it. Now it is sound, with no bumps and rattles to be heard. He knows his stuff. This new shop is a godsend to our area, its clean, great service, fair prices and locally owned. They have my business for life.

This the best shop in the business, bar none! The Training and Certifications they have are very extensive, these guys know their stuff. I had one of the most difficult issues to trouble shoot there is (An EVAP leak}. I took it to Williams Automotive where they found several things wrong that was causing the issue and fixed them all for a fraction of the cost of most shops. You can completely trust this shop to tell you exactly whats wrong with your vehicle, they will NOT mislead you in any way, ever, and their prices are a real bargain. I will never go anywhere else!
