Quick , on time , friendly, clean , covid-19 cautious ☺️👌

I keep trying to call to get a ride set up after a 12 hour shift at amazon, and I keep getting the same Bs response due to high call volume- blah blah blah and blah..... It is not due to high call volume- its due to the company not hiring enough drivers. Guess I will save my $$$$ and get my own car instead of supporting this company that I once thought highly of.

You cant beat 9-12 dollars from one side of town to the next Just imagine going somewhere on the same side of town they better than an Lyft and nice at that.🤗

I wanted to leave a review. Today at 250pm at giant eagle in barberton I seen a man helping an elderly woman get her grocerys put in the van and it was a ride4less taxi driver. Van number 10. He was a taller African American man and he got out to load this ladys grocerys for her. We need more people like this in this world. Compassionate and caring. So to you sir I give 10 stars. Awesome kindness I witnessed. You should give this man a raise or bonus or something. Good people right there. And hopefully I got enough info for him to know this review is for him.

I was not able to get a ride from Lyft so I looked up local taxi companies so I could get my baby to her doctor appointment. They let each driver have their own credit card reader that isnt attached to their actual service. The drivers can and will steal from you. One Tiffani Flahan stole 110 out of my account. I had already paid the taxi company on 2/16 a total of $25 to go to and from the hospital which is less than 10 minutes from my house so that round trip cost was reasonable in my opinion. On 2/25 that woman stole 110 out of my account but fortunately for her its an account I only use for tax refunds so I barely check it. I had to check for my state refund the other night and when I was searching for my state refund I noticed the sneaky person stole my money. Absolutely ripped me off. Well my card is closed out so they cant steal from me again. Rides 4 Less says she no longer is in their employ so theres nothing they can do. I couldnt get a refund from them. I had to call my bank account and dispute the charges because rides 4 Less does not account for the actions of their drivers.The only reason I give 3 stars is because they are polite there and respectful. I did appreciate the kindness they gave. If they had been rude I would have dropped the star to one. But the theft happened in their name and by someone they employed and under their watch. This person was able to rob me because I took a service from rides 4 Less where there are obviously no way to prevent theft and loss, no accountability, no refunds, no security protocols, no controls in place. People need to be aware that theres a serious risk with riding with this company.

Convenient service around town to the West to North or South to east

Woman who ANSWERS the phone is a weirdo on a power trip. Asked a simple question and she canceled my kids ride for school and refused to send a cab to us and blocked my numbers saying I yelled at her when I simply stated it’s strange they couldn’t wait 5 mins for me to let my kids off in a daycare

Incredibly long wait might be less for the pay but youre paying in the long run with your time

This is our family they are amazing whenever there’s something going on or last minute they are always there at least try to be there on time all the time good friends with the owner.

Honestly if I couldnt give a star, I wouldnt...I called for over an hour, when I finally got through, I was told i was 2 miles from the nearest driver, Im thinking great, didnt be to long, dispatch asked when I would be needing a ride, I said 30 minutes to an hour, I was then told Im sorry, Im not thing to have anything for you today... it was 1:00p.m.... how dont you have anything for the day, your a taxi service...smh

Terrible service, I tried to get ahold of them for over an hour with no answer. After multiple attempts to get a ride they finally answered the phone and told me the would call me back. I never received a follow up call. Dispatch was very rude. I would not recommend.

They Never have cabs available and REFUSE to come to the street I live on which is a mixed,community that had a bad reputation some years ago and they say that currently all these bad things are happening to the drivers which are untrue lies!

I had called rides for less for the first time, and the ladie who answered the phone was polite and provided a time that my ride would be there,and my ride arrived on time and my driver Rachel was so nice to me. Made my ride very comfortable. So thanks Rachel you were great.

I really enjoy this company as the drivers are always so friendly and they always arrive way fast to pick u up. They are polite and make u feel as comfortable as possible. Its def the only company I use. I know the 2 people that stuck out the most to me (I think the names are correct) are Empress & Jose.

If I could give a ZERO I would.. I was almost run off the highway by one of their drivers who was doing everything but driving and paying attention.. I called their number to let them know and to no surprise they didn’t care!!I personally wouldn’t call this company if they were the only cab services around.. their driver in van 12 was all over the road and oblivious to anyone else traveling the highway. Good luck if you chose this company.

I called in earlier and the lady i spoke with acted like i dont know what im talking about. If the owner wants to talk to me talk with your supervisor. The company is not fraud but this lady is.

I was was in Wadsworth on business and needed a ride back to the airport. I called and they said it would be around 30 minutes for them to come out. They called back to provide updated on when my ride was coming and were very timely! Stephanie was very nice and I really enjoyed the ride with her!!

Always punctual

The dispatch person was rude, an the prices are way more expensive than anyone else. The drivers try to take the longest route possible so they can get as much as possible out of you. The drivers are rude an inconsiderate about who they have in the vehicle, always on the phone an doesnt pay attention to the customer until its time to pay. Zero customer service, with the drivers an dispatch. The vehicles are driven like race cars an mishandled an ontop of it all not taken care of properly, doors not working an loud noises coming from underneath the vehicle. Very unsafe and very unreliable. Use Uber or Lyft, at least they gaurentee a arrive time.

Everyone driving fir this taxi service are polite and generally great people Ive never had a bad experience. The only negative us wait time but youll have that especially when your the cheapest taxi service around the Akron area. 5 stars goes to rides for less I will continue to use this service for local rides around town. On time! I schedule my runs a night in advance and theyve never let me down. If maybe i forget there waits are never to long and if so at least there honest and dont lie like other companies have in my past...Prices are reasonable... Drivers are super friendly.. Real Profile and Person here. Friend just paid $40 to go from local hotel to airport? If the clerk at the hotel lobby would have paid attention, there is a PUBLIC BUS for $1.50 right out front?! Nobody was in a rush but R4L was out for the money. Sorry, cannot recommend that kind of business. Since flying out of Akron is far cheaper than out of Cleveland or Columbus or Cincinnati, getting that last ride from the hotel to the airport the next day is not going to be a major expense anymore.

We are rockstars that usually have limos, town cars, and other choice vehicles. We decided to hire a car service for our concert at The Tangier and were pleased with the (7) rides in total Ride 4 Less Taxi provided. Every time they were on-time, patient, friendly and reliable. Angie, Stephanie, Yvonne were lovely and courteous. Surely we will make reservations with Ride 4 Less our next time in Akron Ohio. Bravo ladies! Thank you much again.

Horrible! This will make the 2nd timeive been disappointed. so slow I could have walked to my destination faster! Not only did you ruin my evening but also had the Audacity to lie to me about the driver calling me. my newer updated fully charged phone never received not one phone call from dispatch or the driver. So long as I can help it i will never use your service again! And fyi I never actually leave review let alone negative ones.

Have always been satisfied with this service, however, tonight was a different experience. The driver was on a personal call when we got in. Im thinking ok shell hang up as we pull off. Nope! She stayed on her call talking about various things. She drove about 45 mph in a 30 ,nevermind all the potholes n bumps we blew thru! Charged me way more than Id payed for the same trip twice b4 and when I said as much, she rudely said, well I dont know what to tell u. Smh. Some people should stay away from customer service jobs, especially when they hold your life in their hands!!

Good people on time an supper cheep

I want to start out by saying that Ive used this company probably 20-25 times at a minimum. The drivers here are nice, but these people have been late SO many times. Last time was the last straw. Called at 10am to get picked up at 4pm, and was told, No problem, see you then.The driver ended up being over 35 minutes late. Of course, as is typical, when I called for an ETA, I was ignored.This company needs to learn to hold itself accountable, and to deliver a consistent product. Ill never be using this company again, as their are cheaper, and more reliable options. For those looking for people who actually show up on time, Id recommend Anytime Taxi. Since dumping Rides 4 Less, I havent had to explain to my employer why I was running late.

Ive been using their services for a while now and all of the drivers have been really good to me except for one. Ive ran into drivers who just went off duty at the gas station and they still took me to where I was going. Out of the 6 different drivers that I have dealt with while using their services all were very helpful and professional with the exception of one.

Had issue with them not picking me up for a scheduled ride & customer service not getting back to me. They lost a would be regular customer & its Actually a bad situation for the best because i save more money with the True rides for less uber & Lyft.

Van was filthy when I rode a couple weeks ago. Woman driver was on her phone entire trip. Extremely expensive service and cannot believe they promote they are cheap. They are very very expensive.

Driver in gray van in Barberton area parked on the wrong side of the road and turned right in front of me when they didn’t have right of way almost hitting the front of my car. If I had time I would’ve gotten the plates and would’ve called the police for reckless driving. Ridiculous.

Called for ride to Wal-Mart that is 3 miles from my home and an hour later picked up by Shonda! I was charged over $18 which I was told was $5 because she had to come to Uniontown and then charged for using her credit card slider on phone.... Unacceptable! I called LYFT to take me home and it was $7.00! I use this company for my medical appointments as well... however, I have cancelled them for 2 upcoming appointments! I feel like they should have told me it would be $5 just for coming to Uniontown and given me the chance to decline! I know one person wont make or break them but be careful of hidden charges!!B Lancaster

I was just driving and taxi #8 cut me off in the middle of the road and if that wasnt bad enough he then proceeded to drive 25 in a 35 mph speed zone............. if all the drivers drive like this guy count me out Id rather walk.

One night I called them for ride home and they was the only taxi service that who accept credit cards that night. So the driver arrived and she was nice but flirting and when we arrived to my house I only had was $20 on my card the ride charge me $21.35 I gave her my card and it approved it she let me out of the van and left... So story short I get a call from them saying they was going to call the police on me because it didnt approved a $1.35 (smh) but the driver left and over charge me it was post to be $17 to $18 but it approved my money. Sad and terrified night.

This place and Orange Cab are soooooooo expensive and they are never on time and they are just bad. Yellow cab is way better than these places!!!

Ive called them three times and the driver has been on time once. One time I canceled a ride because it was over an hour and Im currently waiting on my ride which, at 730, was supposed to be here in 20 minutes and Im still waiting at 830. When I called for a new eta, the answering service was mad at ME. Now my ride is going to be another 30 minutes with NO REDUCED RATES for waiting an extra half an hour when I couldve been working in that time. This service is only getting one start purely since thats all I can give

This place turn me and my mom down for a round-trip service which would the whole trip would take about 20 minutes and we was paying for it they only started you on one-way trips so we would have had to call for a cab to take us to the bank go into the bank and then wait for an hour ridiculous poor customer service ridiculous why should it matter if it was around tr or just one way Im calling them place of business for a reason for the service were paying for it it shouldnt matter very bad customer service they make it sound like if you need a round-trip ride youre not as important as if you just need dropped off somewhere my mom is 77 years old not going to let her staying outside in this cold because they refuse to waitthen it really makes me mad as we do the same trip round trip every 2 weeks like clockwork for the past 3 months and everythings going fine until today.
