Charlie and team surveyed the situation and devised a solution that required coordinating with another arborist and the city. They made it all happen within a couple of days with no involvement on my part. The end result was an unbelievable tree extraction with almost no disruption to the landscaping anywhere in the yard. O.A.K. Services removed 10 large trees from our property, all close to buildings. Their specialized equipment meant they did not have to put people up into the trees. I think this adds a measure of safety (and peace of mind) that is worth paying a bit extra for. They had to reschedule our service due to a part that needed to be replaced, but they stayed in communication with us about the start date. They were on time, the employees were hard-working and courteous. I especially like the way they protected the yard when moving heavy equipment across it. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

Charlie and I discussed removing a couple of trees and I needed them done very soon. Even though he has a very busy schedule he called and said he could work me in the next day. He and his guys came and did an amazing job. They were very efficient and got it done in a timely manner. I highly recommend them for any of your tree related needs.

I had a large water O.A.K. that had grown out over my roof and chimney. Using their specialized equipment, they were easily able to remove the tree safely and very efficiently! They also were able to go over my garage to remove some large limbs. They are a friendly and professional service that I would highly recommend!

Outstanding service in tree removal. Safely removed two nuisance trees next to my house without a scratch. Left the property as clean (if not cleaner in some places) and did everything professionally and in a friendly manner as well. Would recommend O.A.K. Services to anyone needing a professional job with tree removal.

Have never been so insulted by a tree expert coming onto my property, treating me disrespectfully, telling me I need to cut down my flowers, remove my chickens, fencing, and going to use the neighbors driveway for their crane (liability not a concern obviously), not wanting to answer questions but bowing up on them being asked. My tree needing removed would be labor intensive which I knew, but Charlie just wanted to use their big fancy equipment so he priced the job way too high, about $5K more than the next estimate. Could not, would not want to use a service that has no respect for the homeowner who is footing the bill and no respect for a woman in general. In fairness, Jim had at least compassion and seemed rather embarrassed by Charlies tirade. Review actually merits zero stars but not an option.

I found out today about the other services O.A.K. services preform. I called them for advice on how to get my cat down from a tree after calling public services with no guidance; she had climbed at least 60 plus feet up an oak tree. She was scared, screaming, but would not come down. Charlies employees arrived and told me all would be good. They will handle it. These men were so kind hearted, patient, understanding and extremely professional. Their kind, soothing voices were able to keep my cat calm and get her down without incidence. Not a scratch on anyone. They even carried her gingerly into the house. I cannot sing enough high praises for these guys and the work they performed today. I highly recommend their services. They did a great job taking down 8 large pine trees in our back yard. They were diligent in preventing any damage to the yard caused by heavy equipment. It was fascinating watching the tree cutting process. The yard was kept clean while they worked. A little more expensive but worth it.

I contacted four tree services. Three gave me an estimate within days. O.A.K said it would be about a week before they could look at the job. When Jim showed up, he stated he would email me the price. Waited three days for the email. Nothing. Poor customer service.

I would recommend this company to anyone. They cut down a very large dead pine tree in my front yard. Also cut down multiple branches in multiple trees that were bound to fall in the next storm. But, lastly, and not the least important to me, the clean up job afterwards was fantastic. Really. They left my front yard, back yard, patio, front porch and back porch cleaner than when they arrived. They even put all my concrete yard animals back in place. These guys were skilled, safe, considerate, and speedy as they finished it all in one long day.

Extremely satisfied. The certified arborists who own the company are very knowledgeable about tree care and made recommendations for long-term health of my trees. The estimate for storm-damage repair was in line with another estimate I received but unlike the other company from which I got an estimate, O.A.K. uses a climber rather than bringing a huge truck onto the lawn so that there was no damage to the curbing, lawn, shrubbery, or other trees. The workers were professional, polite, and extremely neat. Even though they were coming back the next day to finish, they left no evidence that work was in progress. When the entire job was done, the yard was much neater than before they started. The owners were on site and inspected the job prior to the crews departure. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

We used O.A.K. Services to prune 25 trees and remove 4 trees which were damaged as a result of winter storm Pax. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to work with. Their main goal was to protect the health of the trees and surrounding shrubs and lawn. They came up with an absolutely ingenious ways to remove a tree in order not to harm the underlying azaleas. It amazed me that you couldn’t even tell that a tree was removed in that area! They were here for 3 days and each day they left my yard even neater than when they arrived. It is rare these days to find a company that takes such care and pride in what they do. Called for Tornado Clean-up. Had several large Oak & Hickory Trees uprooted during an F2 tornado 2 weeks ago. I called them within an hour after the storm, They were very fast to respond ( less then 2 hrs) to assess the damage and began work the next day. I was given an estimate and all work and reason why it need to be done was explained. They were very professional. It was amazing to watch as they lifted large tree branches over my house with a crane. I would highly recommend O.A.K. Services to anyone needed storm clean up or any type of tree removal service.

I contacted O.A.K. Services after a tornado ripped through my back yard in April 2015. Within hours of speaking with Caela I had an estimate of repair costs and a plan to move forward. I may not have had as much damage as some of the surrounding neighborhoods; however, Caela and her crew made me feel like their top priority.From start to finish I have been impressed with the skills, knowledge, and professionalism demonstrated by O.A.K. Services. The talented crew removed 2 large pines, 1 magnolia, 1 dogwood, 1 cedar, and 1 small pine without causing further damage to my property. This was especially important to me as I purchased my home 4 months prior! O.A.K Services not only removed the damaged trees, but pruned the last remaining tree and grinded the stumps remaining from the large pines. The job was not for the faint of heart and Im so blessed that O.A.K. Services didnt back away from the challenge.The icing on the cake was the pristine condition in which the crew left my front and back yard! They hauled off the debris to a local shavery, which was important to me that it not go to waste, and swept off my front and back porches. A 30 high stump right at the edge of my tiny property was going to become a huge problem and liability as it aged. I couldnt find anyone willing to take it down for me. No vehicular access to the tree,due to the terracing of the back yard and small side driveway, plus the closeness to the stump of other trees and plantings only complicated the matter. Then I met Caela and Charles of O.A.K. Services. They assessed the stump, studied the property and came up with a solution which involved digging up a few shrubs, tying back the nearby trees, taking down a fence and then dropping the stump, cutting it up and hauling away the pieces, uphill, manually.. Not only did the stump come down perfectly, with literally inches to spare on either side, but at the end of the day the property was so neat (fence up, shavings raked, holes refilled, shrubs replanted) that no one could have guessed that the crew had been there. Amazing! It was a delight to deal with OAK Services all through the process, and the price they charged was more than fair. I cannot recommend this company enough.
