First time working out here today. Absolutely loved it. Plenty of equipment for any workout you would like to do and the staff is very friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this place.

It was good. Would like to see a few more machines. Smoothie bar with supplements would be a nice touch.Overall good experience.

Just went for the first time - lots of great machines, very clean!! I loved it!

Tanning beds were dirty three different times. My daughter and I at separated times got burned by accelerant or some type of product left on the bed. There was blood on the floor in one of the rooms. Some of the staff are great, but others must think that things like these arent a big deal. I do!! I dont want someone elses sweat or blood on me. Just goes to show that some people dont care enough to do their job.

The best gym I have ever been too. The associates are very helpful and friendly. Equipment is user friendly. It is a judgement free zone for sure. Price is the best.

This location has very friendly and attentive staff. It is never too crowded to work out in the evenings. They strictly enforce mask and social-distance policy. I feel safe working out here.

My first time being a gym rat. I have not really earned that title yet, but hopefully I will. I am a 50 year old grandmother, and worried about feeling out of place. Nope, I feel very comfortable there. I like the 30 minute workout room, the fact that there are always plenty of treadmills and ellipticals available, the tanning beds, and the friendly staff. I had a surgery that caused a lot of weight gain, quit smoking a year ago, and recently had covid, which took a toll on my lungs. I really need to be in a gym even if I felt uncomfortable. Luckily, I dont feel that way at Planet Fitness. The ages there are a really good mix.

Always have a peaceful workout here. The employees are awesome!

I went in this morning to get my membership transferred here from another club. Courtlynn was amazing, there was a small hiccup and she took care of it AFTER I left the club and called to let me know. That was a very kind thing to do! Club is clean and well kept. 😁

This is a well run gym #!! Staff members were great !! Almost as good as my home gym on cherry rd Rock Hill S.c 😁

My review is not towards the staff at this location because theyve always had good customer service. The Corporate Planet Fitness are the real criminals. They dont have a way to cancel your membership online because apparently you have to go in to the store to cancel it by a form... like I have a job that requires me to work long hours and if I have to go out of my way to cancel it, Youre sorely mistaken. I will go in to cancel my membership but never again will I use planet fitness and pay 23 bucks a month to literally not use the membership. This corporation needs to be able to cancel the memberships that are not checking in for more than 2 months of payments. Thieves

My only complaint has nothing to do with the gym but with the people. Stop wearing perfume and cologne. Some of us is already struggling with the pollen as it is. Secondly clean your machines. No one else wants your germs. Other than that the guy who works mornings all week is amazingly friendly and always has a smile. Bathrooms are normally spotless. Im happy I decided to choose this gym.

Love that the gym is open 24 hours again. Everything is very clean and they give you your own cleaning supplies to carry with you as you work out.

I really love it there. Everything you need to work out and stay fit. Not crowded and everythings sanitized. People are friendly and makes you feel welcome.

Clean machines and no obnoxious music playing over the speakers like at Golds. If youre a body builder or into classes you may prefer Golds over this place. I say that because Golds has a lot more free weights and a dead lifting station. PF is mostly machines... which suits me because I really only ever use the cardio machines.

For a planet fitness its great . Unfortunately planet fitness doesnt have deadlift.

Planet Fitness was as good as I left it before the COVID crisis. I appreciated the efforts of social distancing between the cardio machines, and also having a personal bottle of cleaner to clean machines before and after use and disinfectant placed all throughout the facility for washing my hands regularly. The gym has always been pristine, and Ive never seen the equipment in a state of disrepair. My only complaint is that its too far from my rural home to go as regularly as I wish, but thats not the gyms fault :)

Great atmosphere, not crowded, equipment is just a bit out of date.

Easy to access via huge parking lot in the shopping center.Usually fairly crowded after work, and especially at the start of the new year. The company runs very good deals with the new year so there are lots of new members.Locker rooms are fairly clean, and a little tight.Gym itself is clean, and youll usually see an employee vacuuming if you are there for more than an hour. Could use a few more squat racks, but you usually dont have to wait for a machine or dumbells.Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Overall its great, but when you make sure that your following the rules down to the T and then watch a couple of people that you see break the rules entirely for a couple of different days AND being very immature I might add....it REALLY pisses you off!!!!! Im pretty sure this happens each time they visit. Just saying.Specifically says we are not allowed to wear jeans of any kind... Hhmmmmm!!! And WE are to ALSO SANITIZE EVERY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT that we use as soon as your finish with it!!!!!!! Shall I say these two didnt touch a paper towel or sanitizing spray bottle NOT ONE time!!!! Are you kidding me!!!! Makes you ponder on what their living conditions are prolly like. Disgusting!

Talking about fitness... or looking to become healthy? This is the place! Aiken has many of place but this is super nice and friendly! You will have the plus to have a trainer to help you go thru the routine of exercises, well done explained and showed! Take advantage of their chain benefits! The environment is judge free!

Love this gym, always have. Moved across town a few months ago and switched to a closer gym, currently trying to find a way cancel and get out of it so I can come back to PF. Even if it means a longer ride.

I am a fairly new member to this gym, or any gym for that matter. I feel very comfortable in the environment and love the prices! Its a clean gym in a convenient location. I would certainly reccomend this gym or anyone.

I love PF! The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is safe. I upgraded my membership to work out anywhere in the US.

Easily the most bang for your buck at this gym. It has all the amenities you might need while also being affordable at only $10 per month. If you can plan a workout ahead and dont need a personal trainer this is ideal. Even when crowded, there is enough equipment for yup to do your own thing. This only negative is the class schedule does not accommodate the working schedule very well.

I love this workout center! Everyone is very friendly and the staff is always extra helpful! There are plenty of different cardio and weight machines of every skill level to choose from.

I like going in here to work out. No pressure, well maintained equipment, good layout, lots of different options for watching TV while ya bike, run, row. Love the waterbed after a good workout too. Very clean in there too.

Planet Fitness uses deceptive advertising to reel customers in and then tacks on charges which the company only explains in small print on a very small digital screen until they E-mail you a copy of the transaction. While they warn you not to sign unless you have read the entire contract, the multi-page document on a very small digital screen easily hides charges and provisions which you are encouraged to quickly sign-off on especially when people are waiting behind you in line. Then the Planet Fitness organization refuses to fully refund payments even if you NEVER used their facilities and cancelled the contract within 3 business days of signing. “Caveat emptor.”

Really excellent low cost no frills work out location. Lots of TVs bring your own headphones or earphones if you want to listen to the programming on the televisions. Very friendly staff. I enjoy going there much more so than Golds Gym or the much smaller Village Fitness. Village Fitness tends to be very cliquish and even good instructors can get fired if they dont become members of The Clique. Golds Gym is very large with staff the facility who are not very knowledgeable. Theres also a notoriously unfriendly facility manager.

Awesome place to workout. Not for powerlifters, but if youre trying to get in shape, or stay in shape, there are plenty of treadmills, elipticals, bikes, cross trainers, and weights to make that happen. Staff is friendly and the place is always clean.

I have a fantastic trainer that really cares about my goals name Nikki. The general manager Daniel is such a people person and strive to keep this place clean and friendly. It feels like a family.

Came in and signed up.. gave them my checking account number and they keep telling me I didnt. Gave them a second chance and this happens again... The need to get it together. Then you try to talk to the manager Daniel and he is just nasty.. Rude... I left a message for him to call and he said he got the message... You think he called me...NOPE...

Great place to workout, just wish there were a few more machines. Would also like to see a sauna instead of some of the tanning beds.

STAY AWAY!!! Horrible Company !!!! Reviews are going up to stay away!!!! Very unprofessional and unorganized!!! Also, a call is going out to Corporate. The business practices at this location seem shady. How do you update an system and all of a sudden charge someone almost a years worth of charges, when monthly, they didnt go through from the same old system? Its the systems fault not the customers. And not being able to track automated emails sent from Planet Fitness is a Personal Information violation. Im contacting the government because who knows whose been receiving my information?!

Great place to get fit..and tan

Told me I could cancel my membership on the 17th WITHOUT being charged. Then procceeded to charge me and tell me that i had to cancel before the 10th, but another guy told me that if I would have canceled Id still be charged. Theyre always looking for a way to make a quick buck. They were also very rude to me over the phone and said they couldnt do anything.

JUST CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP. I WAS APPROACH BY ONE OF THE EMPLOYEE STAFF MEMBERS WHO TOLD ME THAT I CAN NOT JUMP ROPE INSIDE THE GYM AND THAT I WOULD NEED TO GO OUTSIDE THE BUILDING AND JUMP ROPE. I FELT IT WAS SO DISRESPECTFUL THAT THEY WOULD SEND ME OUTSIDE ON SIDE WALK IN THIS UNCONDITIONAL WEATHER TO JUMP ROPE. I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER WITH PLANET FITNESS AIKEN FOR QUITE SOMETIME NOW AND HAVE BEEN JUMP ROPING LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE DAY THAT I AM IN THE GYM. I WAS NEVER TOLD OR SHOWN IN THE RULE BOOK OR NOTHING VISUAL IN THE GYM THAT STATES JUMP ROPING IS NOT ALOUD. YOU HAVE EVERY OTHER RULE POSTED IN THE GYM. NOW THE BOTHERING PART IS THAT MANY OF THE STAFF AND TRAINERS HAVE WITNESS ME JUMP ROPING AND HAS NEVER STATED OR MADE A COMMENT ABOUT ME JUMPING ROPING, NOT TO INCLUDED THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE GYM THAT JUMP ROPE AND NOTHING IS SAID TO THEM. THIS IS A COMPLETE OUTRATE AND I FEEL DISCRIMINATED AGAINST DO TO MY NATIONALITY. MY CAUCASIAN COUNTER PART JUMP ROPES AS WELL AND NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN SAID TO HER OR HIM. AIKEN PLANET FITNESS SHOWS UNFAIR TREATMEMT TO THOSE OF COLOR. I PAY TO WORKOUT INSIDE THE GYM NOT OUTSIDE THE GYM. TAKING MY MONEY AND TIME TO SOMEWHERE THAT DOES NOT SHOW FAVORITISM. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PLANET FITNESS AIKEN. IF THIS HAPPEN TO YOU I RECOMMEND YOU TAKE LEGAL ACTION AS I WILL.

I have the premium membership, but I can hardly use the extras because they only have one or two and they are rarely available.

Letting 15-18 year olds work out for free is one thing - allowing them to use every smith machine and weight lifting bench for two hours every day is going to make serious gym goers switch to Golds.
