First time in Hawaii and found this place on the drive to the hotel. Made a point to visit today and so glad we did. Food was yummy and staff so friendly and helpful.

Went for loco moco, and was not disappointed! This is one of my friends top five on top loco mocos, and I have been meaning to try it for the longest time.. It comes with 2 eggs on 2 patties on a bed of rice, all smothered in gravy. A little bit too much gravy for me but at least it was flavorful. The patties had that flame grilled taste, which is sooo ono! I would agree on it being one of the better tasting loco mocos around, and I would definitely go back and get.

Sung is a one-man band that would make Burt from Mary Poppins look like a child. This guy has been in business for over 40 YEARS and is WELL-established in O’ahu.Also, he is the ONLY place on da island where you can drop your car and get the best local Loco Moco anywhere!!! What????Here’s a secret: he comes off as grumpy, but he’s a very nice man. He has a job to do and does it well, so let him. Also, he LOVES Coors light. If you want to impress him, bring a Styrofoam cooler w some ice cold Coors light and you’ll make his day!!

After being turned down by a couple of places that said they didn’t have any inspection appointments even though it said they accepted walk ins for inspections left me scrambling to find a place to go before our car registration appointment we called Wally’s and they had me come right down. He was quick and very nice! We went and ate spam and eggs while we waited for our inspection to finish which was done before we were even finished eating. The food was great, service was amazing and this is definitely where we will come from now on! Mahalo!!

Went to Wally for safety check. There is no line and it was quick! Friendly service. Will definitely be back next year. No more chain stores with long wait in the future.

My 23 year old car and my 16 year old car have only been cared for...here, that is clearly worth five stars, but then you go inside and the food, is tasty, freshly made and if you look right, theres brownies and banana bread!!!!

Needed a safety check and was able to get one fast and easy no appointment no waiting. The owner is very knowledgeable and honest if you need real work done as well.

Horrible service. Ill never be back. Wasted my whole afternoon. He said as long as I arrive before 4 PM he would check my car. I waited for an hour to get my safety check. When it was my turn, multiple cars arrived behind me and he wouldnt even do the check for me. He found the slightest reason to send me out of there. All I wanted was for him to check my car and fail it if he had to. But he wouldnt even do that. Dismissed me because he had a bunch of other customers behind me. Locals only I guess.

Perfect loco moco, classic spam and eggs, really all of your favorite Hawaiian breakfasts. Lunch plates and sandwiches are your perfectly done classic favorites as well. Dont be concerned that this place is with an auto garage. The restaurant is really clean and the food.... so ono!

My father in law and I were on our last day of a great week on the Island. Found the grill, with great reviews, near the Arizona Memorial so a perfect spot for breakfast. Absolutely fantastic experience. It took a few minutes for the manager to warm up to us, but we then had excellent food (Moco Loco +++) , service and learned the evolution of the grill. Highly recommended!!

Super fast car service. The grill was ok. I ordered chicken katsu; it was ok (kind of bland). But my company just ordered Puked pork, teri beef, and Teri chicken... It was amazing.

To echo other reviews: horrible customer service.I hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel like I need to give a heads up to other military families who are keeping out of state licenses to avoid this place unless you’re desperate.

No appointment, no problem! Saw how some of the reviews were a little down on the place. But was in a bind and in a hurry. I was the only guy there, surprisingly, at 830am on a Wednesday. In and out, paid with credit card and got exactly what I needed.

Attendant was super rude. Wouldnt service me for safety inspection because door handle is broke on outside which is NOT criteria to pass, he didnt ask if they work on inside (which is required to pass, and mine work). When telling him I didnt understand, he raised his voice repeated himself and walked away. Wow!

Came to get a safety check. Slow service. Expect to be told to wait. Not sure if if thats against the law but was told by another safety check station that they have to do the check within 30 min of you asking; the checker is not allowed to tell you to wait more than 30 min or come back at a different time. (Unless its outside of operating hours)

Ive been getting my cars serviced here for many years. Its not the cheapest place to get your oil replaced, but they will use a torque wrench to tighten your drain plug. If you go to a cheaper place, expect to have your drain plug over tightened with an impact wrench. Bottom line is that I trust them to make the appropriate repairs on my cars and not get ripped off for unnecessary servicing.

Actually didnt go to the restaurant but renewed my cars safety check at the service garage next to it. ( I assume its same owner ). In and out less than 10 minutes.

After I waited for a while, the guy at the shop comes over and says: “What do you want?” Already started things on the wrong foot. He proceeds to ask a few questions and I add in that my tires are beginning to get low, that I needed to “VOID” failed inspection so I can at least get my registration going and that I’d come back with new tires and registration. He asked for my keys, walked towards my vehicle, turns around and says he won’t look at it, to come back with new tires. Waste of f’king time.

Been taking my vehicles here nearly 20-plus years..people complain about the prices wherever they may be hoping for a deal...the simple fact is that we live on an Island, everything we need must be shipped-in from afar, as is the reason for the mark-up in goods and services...its just simple economics.Wollys auto service is genuine quality, old school customer service. hard to find anywhere these days where everyone appears to want a deal and is consumed with time. If your not in a rush, I highly recomend Wollys...you can have yourself a local style meal, a cup of joe, and read a paper while your waiting.....

The guy in the shop is a total a*^hole. When for a vehicle inspection he procedures to tell the guy before me he can do his inspection for some reason and then give me some bs excuse and tells me to take it somewhere else. After I was there earlier in the morning and he told me to just come back in around an hour. Totally wasted my time.

Late Wally Ho was known for fast pulling guard for Iolani Father Kenneth Bray wonder team Late Charles Kaaihue, Late Beno Neves, Merv Lopes, Late Joe Kahahawai. Note should anyone attend Iolani I believe its mandatory 1 week course on Father Kenneth Braue.Not sure spelling last name right.Late Wally and Louise Ho were like my Mom and Dad.
