I am beyond impressed with the service I received from Pearl City Auto Works!! They were quick to get me into their shop when I was experiencing problems with my car (called Friday afternoon and was able to bring my car in Monday morning), very thorough with their diagnostics, knowledgeable, and professional! They even provide you a link with a courtesy vehicle inspection that included pictures of the technician and advisor (made it very personable) and pictures of your actual vehicle where there may be problems in the future or if it needs immediate attention as well as an educational video/description of those areas. This was especially nice because I was able to send this to my husband who is overseas and he was able to stay in the loop and also for me ,who’s not mechanically inclined at all, to be able to learn and understand what they were talking about. Prices were also extremely reasonable and after everything was said and done, they were able to find a part cheaper than expected and saved me money! I cannot recommend this place enough, I will be sure to spread the good word to anyone that is looking for a place to service their vehicle!

Scheduled a 4:30pm safety check after work. Got there a little early. Was back on the road at 4:43pm. I also forgot my insurance card. They were able to accept an email of the card I got from my insurance companys website. Overall very professional, courteous, and timely service. I will be trying them again in the future. Perhaps for an oil change.

First time going to PCAW. Replaced timing belt/ water pump, CV axle, replaced fluids and other misc maintenance work. By far great professional customer service and repair work. Made an appointment online, got a timely confirmation, drop off was a breeze, was given a detailed vehicle health inspection report and clear explanation of the recommend work and the estimate. Was also given a loaner. Pickup was hassle free and van is running great... would highly recommend PCAW for car repair needs.. Will be taking my other 2 cars for service and passing the good word on to others..

PCAW was recommended to me and Keoki and his team was very professional in Removing/Replacing my cylinder head gaskets. They diagnosed what caused the engine to overheat and ran a complete test/report of what needed to be fixed right now and other things that will need to be addressed for the future. Appreciate the quick turnaround when they received the work back from the Machine shop.

Best experience with a mechanic shop yet. Keoki took a lot of time explaining what was wrong and answering my questions. Inspection results, with vehicle update and diagnostic checklist, were sent by email, for other work to be done or not. Communication was excellent.Work was done in time as agreed upon. Excellent follow up conducted with phone call after day of work completed to check on satisfaction. The people are very attentive and provide excellent customer service.

Keoki and Jen were very professional and easy to work with. They were very patient with our situation and worked diligently with our warranty to ensure that we were getting the best part we needed for our vehicle. I went in for a car safety check. The people were friendly, the place was clean, and they were efficient, I did not have to wait long. I like that they provided me with a report of the condition of my car. I will be going back again, to take my other car there as well.

Excellent customer service! It was my first visit for a simple safety check and transmission flush for my Tacoma and I was impressed. They noticed an oil leak and invited me to take a look while the truck was raised up. The valve cover gasket had been replaced by the dealership 2 years ago, so it was surprising to see the engine leaking oil again. They did the scheduled work and diagnosed the source of the oil leak - we will have the cam cap replaced on a subsequent visit when they get the necessary parts. Keoki also recommended some other parts to consider replacing given the age/mileage on the vehicle. He also suggested that I change the dirty air filter element which I could easily do myself. Honest, thorough, and professional - everything you would want in an auto repair shop.

Changed my oil and confirmed my suspicions on my exhaust. 100% I recommend my friends to go there if they need any work done. They also fixed my handmedown vehicle and do thorough inspections with a ton of pictures so that if you don’t get things fixed at that moment you know what you need to fix or what you will most likely need in the future.

Very professional and trust worthy. Went to replace my radiator and they quoted it to be 900 something. I needed it replaced so I agreed but when I picked up my car they said they miss quoted and came out to 600 something. Big difference. Others may have stuck with the higher quote but they showed integrity. Mahalos will be back for future repairs.

I am not a car guy but I know that I can trust Keoki and his team with honest quotes for necessary or optional repairs. Despite my tires being worn, the maintenance work I had dramatically improved my cars grip to the point I thought they had replaced them with new tires.I thought it was just my AC getting old but there was a critical leak that needed to be replaced. The AC is so efficient that sometimes it is too cold which is perfect for the summer weather.I’m glad to see PC Auto growing because I think their quality of work speaks for itself!

Been hella busy with work and stuff so forgot to make a feedback here. This is actually my second time I came to them to fix the problems I had with my car. I am ready glad with the service I had. Keoki was really direct and walked me thru what needed to be done with the car. Even thru the point where the payment and all was the done the engine light came on. I called him and took it to the shop only to find out it was a factory part that I put in wasnt the right one. A big job that they took serious and came in clutch. If you need a great place that does great work and has awesome service go and visit PC Auto works trust me your car will love it.

Pearl City auto is in a class by itself. I recently had work done at another 5 star Yelp repair shop and left feeling like I didnt really get the entire picture of what was repaired or needed. I decided to find another shop to look at the same issue and what a difference. Everything from setting the appointment to the initial diagnostic was fantastic. Pearl City Auto sent an email with pictures of the issue and the service manager called to explain the repair.Everything with Pearl City Auto is the best experience I have had with a repair shop so far. I will definitely be coming back for future service needs and would recommend this shop to anyone on the island.

We had an excellent experience with Pearl City Auto Works, our scheduled appointment was on time, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They explained what was going to be performed with the diagnostic test and if they could diagnose the problems within 30 minutes, I would pay $90 versus $130. Right off the back, we saved $40 and the results were sent online to us. Keoki, also went above and beyond the call to research the cost of a Honda catalytic converter (expensive) and if a warranty covered this expense (saving us thousands of dollars). It felt really good to find a business that we could trust, took care of their customers and save their wallets. We highly recommend them and we will definitely continue our business with them!

I just had my timing belt changed, rear end and air conditioning totally rebuilt. They will give your car a thorough check even if you are just getting an oil change. And theyll have pictures to show you proof. I highly suggest these guys.

Everyone was so professional from the phone call to schedule the appointment until leaving. I needed a Safety inspection and I was able to get in within a week. I had to bring my children with me due to last minute babysitting issues but we were in an out. I would recommend Pear City Auto works safety inspections to anyone!

Looks like it was a COVID charge that I was not notified of.Keoki kindly called me and explained the pricing and charge to me. This is a place where a company is there for their customers.

Had my 30,000 mile maintenance done. Pearl City Auto Works has an up to date, state of the art equipment to analyze and diagnose your vehicle. Keoki is very efficient in communicating with you what is priority (red) to not so immediate (yellow) but still needs to be taken of. Very professional and clean environment which caught my eye.

My Toyota went haywire and no one could fix it. Brought it here and Keoki made it his mission to figure it out. Runs like a gem now and I’ve never gone anywhere else. I went online to research a automotive repair shop and discovered Pearl City Auto Works. They had one of the most positive reviews and highest star ratings. I then decided to call and had the honor to speak with Keoki Velardo. l explained the situation with my vehicle and he was able to schedule an appointment that friday. I arrived friday morning by 8am, went into the office and checked in with Jen. She was attentive, listened to my concerns and noted it all for the technician to review. It took about 5 minutes and I was off to go to work. By the way, did I mention that they provided me a loaner with no charge! AWESOME! All they asked in return...a valid car insurance card, driver’s license and refill the gas tank upon your return. I received a call a few hours later with my results along with a email of my vehicles inspection report. I agreed to the services that needed repair and they immediately proceeded. They graciously awaited my arrival 5 minutes to 5:00pm due to my work schedule. I checked back in with Jen and had the privilege of meeting Keoki. They both did not rush me out and Keoki still took the time to explain other things about my vehicle. I will recommend everyone I know to Pearl City Auto Works for their reasonable cost, EXCELLENT professional/detailed/reliable customer/vehicle service.

Quick and painless, Except for the bill, of course. But a fair amount for the work that was done (I researched it). 92 Corvette convertible that I have owned since new. This was my first time here at this shop. During the quarantine, my usual safety inspection spot was closed. After searching on yelp, I found this location due to its reviews and location. After my inspection appointment was completed, the staff gave me their recommendation(s). This is part that makes me anxiou every year. I always wonder what big fixes are they going to find and how much money that I may have to potentially dish out. Other than that, the staff at Pearl City Auto Works have been very professional, tech savvy, and polite. Hopefully they can help me with the fixes in the future.

After dropping off my car on such short notice, Shay sent me a complete diagnostics with pictures that explained everything in terms I could understand. I’ve never seen anything like that! Unfortunately, I lost my job because of COVID.19 and couldn’t afford to do all the repairs but at least now I know. When my car started leaking gas they got me in immediately, spent 2 days looking for replacement parts, and helped me scrap the vehicle when repairing it wasnt a realistic option. They replaced my cars coolant thermostat and brake booster. Brake booster for my white 2008 Saturn Astra XR (known affectionately by my friends as the frogmobile) was extremely hard to get, and they finally found one for me in a foreign country thru Ebay and was to be treated as a customer provided part. They also provided an overall long detailed analysis report for my car complete with pictures, the likes I have never seen before from any other car repair shop ever. They also installed wiper blades for free that I provided myself, that was recommended in their report. I learned about Pearl City Auto Works sometime ago thru word of mouth. I also had the use of a free loner vehicle for about 3 weeks (for only $20 gas that I used), most of it waiting for the foreign country to come thru with the brake booster. I honestly dont think there is a better car repair shop around.Ken Tarumoto

This shop was very nice to me. They helped identify issues with my vehicle to me and didnt pressure me into getting the issues fixed with them. They just gave me the best diagnosis and showed me what needed to be fixed versus what can wait. Money was not something I thought they were after, having great customer service is what they portrayed.

They gave me a thorough inspection of my vehicle, and have very helpful and professional staff. In my experience, they tend to be more expensive than some other options, but they do quality work. Ive been here before and will likely come back again!

Always a pleasant experience at PCAW. No surprises. They accept major work but will politely decline to do items which they feel are beyond their expertise or are unique and for which the staff might not be certified. And when I bring them small items, like changing my oil and filter (I purchase them elsewhere), or doing an annual safety inspection, they dont balk. Getting an appointment is easy. They have earned my trust and respect, so I dont need to second guess their work or their motives. The measures they have taken to remain open and yet keep staff and customers safe during the COVID crisis are creative and impressive. Kudos to them! Everyone should support them and their business.

I was very impressed at how professional and courteous everyone was at PCAW! The shop and office is clean and organized compared to other places Ive been as well. I needed to take my car in to get a full check up because there are so many issues Im having with it and I wasnt sure where to start as far as what to fix first, etc... what issues would be a priority and what stuff can probably wait to be repaired or replaced. Well I found PCAW on Google and made an appt since they appeared to be very highly rated. I had to see for myself. Im always skeptical about trying out new mechanics, Ive had bad experiences in the past. I was definitely not disappointed with PCAW. Keoki was extremely friendly and informative and kept me updated on my car. The diagnostic inspection they completed was much cheaper than what I was quoted over the phone so thats always a plus!! Im definitely going to be using them in the future. One very big deal that I want to point out is that they emailed me a very detailed, easy to read and understand, full color summary of what they did and had everything itemized by what I should get taken care of soon and whats urgent. I dont know any other shop that does that. Im very pleased! Theyve already done a superior job at establishing trust with me so Im a very satisfied customer! All the times that I had to go in for safety check Pearl City Auto Works was the first shop that I didnt feel pressured to oh you need to change air filter today or you need to change oil they did bring to my attention what needs to be addressed , most shops dont. Customer service is outstanding !
