Repaired my 2011 iMac quickly and even saved me money on new RAM, which was the issue. Ran diagnostics and gave recommendations for dumping apps which dont work as well as developers say. All at a fair price. Was easy to locate and drop off and pick up flawless. Thanks to TPteQ, Ill be back!!

OMG!!!! I read the reviews about these guys NEVER returning phone calls and thought they were exaggerating. NO THEY WERE NOT!!!Dropped off my mother-in-laws computer on 2/5/19 left at least 10+ messages between then and today 2/12/19 with NO CALL BACKS????I just went to the house that David works out of and told Tony (older gentleman) and supposed partner I havent heard from ANYONE regarding our computer repair. He invited me in, I pointed to my mother-in-laws computer laying on the floorAND IT HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK!!!!I was LIVID!!!Tony said well, David is sort of busy, ya know, I told him SOMEBODY SHOULD HAVE UPDATED ME AT MINIMUM. well, I cant tell David what to do he said. I asked Tony if he was a partner, he said yes. I told HIM, well than YOU could have AT LEAST returned 1 of my many calls. I picked up the computer and walked out.TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, SERVICE!!!NEVER A CALL BACK IN 7 DAYS!!!!This is the last time Ill ever go to a 1-Man act working out of his basement!I just returned from C&K Electronics also in Addison and I should have it back tomorrow or Thursday. DONE!1 star because otherwise I cant post this warning to others!!!!

I have had TPteQ Inc twice now with my ASUS laptop, both for different reasons, and they have gone above and beyond all of my expectations. I originally tried to send it in two the manufacturer and was quoted to have it back within 2 - 3 weeks. Fast, reliable, great communication! I honestly didnt expect too much as my laptop was old and well-used. He also happens to be incredibly fair in his pricing for a home visit.

Just horrible , these other people aren’t lying . Had an issue with my MacBook Pro and Michael misdiagnosed it, charged me nearly $400. And it took 3 weeks to get the machine back. Only to tell me to take it to where I purchased it.. they don’t pick up, do yourself a favor and just take your MacBooks to apple or wherever u bought them..

Computer repair at reasonable prices

I recently had a problem with my computer that involved sending my Pavilion 20 from Texas to Chicago for Tony to repair it. Yes there are techs and businesses within a 20 mile area that could work on my computer. But, this is the second time I have had a computer have problems. The first time I took my computer to Best Buy for their techs to repair it. When the computer was returned to me, there were still problems. I contacted Tony over the internet and he hooked up with my computer and repaired it right away at a very reasonable cost. That computer worked fine until it was dropped and totally ruined. When my new computer had a problem, I didnt even consider taking it to Best Buy or any one else. I called Tony, told him what happened, he told me to ship it up and I had it on its way that same day. I had it back in perfect condition, once again at a reasonable cost and all within a week, including travel time. Any problems in the future will be handled by only Tony and his very capable crew. Not only is everyone courteous and patient with a computer illiterate, they are competent and fast. I recommend Tony and his crew to anyone who needs computer repairs of any kind. I trust him implicitly.

I dropped off my Dell Inspiron laptop to get a new hard drive put in. It took almost 2 weeks with almost no communication to let me know the status. After picking it up and $200.00 later it started making noise after about 3 weeks so I called and as usual no one answered or returned my call. A week later in the middle of a presentation it crashed so I called and of course got no answer and no return call. I took it elsewhere they told me the hard drive was bad and it was fixed in 1 day. I mailed the defective one back to TP asking for a refund for a defective hard drive or a least a reply and got nothing. The same with an email requesting someone to respond. Do yourself a favor find a professional like I did and take it there instead this guy in his dads basement. Im sure theyll respond to this review though.My response to theirs: There was no data recovery needed as I didnt ask for any. It was a simple hard drive replacement. It took 2 weeks because he said he was running around fixing servers all over the place. I mailed the hard drive right back to the same house I dropped off and picked up my computer at. It never came back to me as I put a return address on it so Im sure it got to that house.

I dropped my MacBook Pro and thought the hard drive was toast. Havent heard the greatest stories about the Genius Bar, and started searching the Web for a local repair shop. Im so glad I found TPteQ. David installed a new hard drive for a fraction of what Apple would have charged. David kept in touch daily to let me know the progress of the work, and always promptly answered texts and phone calls. When Davids data recovery efforts didnt pan out, he recommended a service he trusts, and they were able to recover almost all my data at a reasonable price. TpteQ will be my familys go-to computer repair service from now on.

TERRIBLE COMPANY with poor customer service. If you want service from a company that stands by their work, then go somewhere else. THIS IS NOT IT!

Brought my Mac in to get looked at. Never heard back from them. Tried calling several times and no one answers. I leave a message and they never call back. Its been over month now and nothing
