Facility is clean. Reasonable oil change prices. However, some professionals seem as if they do not know what they are talking about. After I was quoted 800 for some work on my car, I took it to Budget Auto for a second opinion in Havre De Grace and they said that was not the problem and quoted me 160. Now the problem is fixed. Very happy with Bob from Budget Auto!

Two of our kids cars inspected there. After taking one to another shop with questionable issues pointed out. The reinspection here, they pointed out different issues that were accurate. Priced accuratley and fairly. Highly recommended!

The owner Jerry is stand up guy without a doubt. He didn’t guarantee anything but he did give it a try. Especially removing scratches off my 350z with a custom paint job. He had David give it a try and he buffed the scratches completely out & I cannot he happier!!! David even cleaned my car inside & out and put air in my tire because he noticed it was low. What a pleasant surprise. His receptionist Michelle & Lisa are very friendly as well as their tow truck drivers. I talked to everyone there and the wait felt like 10 minutes. They definitely took care of me! So thankful for them!

Great place. Had my inspection done quickly and well priced. The mechanics here are definitely seasoned and have been doing work for a long time, so they know what they are doing. Highly recommended and will be returning for future inspection work and any thing else I cannot handle on my own. Also, the front staff are very friendly.

Everyone was great. Towed my f150 and 19 foot travel trailer as well. Michelle, Pete, Ernie and the great driver whose name has slipped my mind. Pete stayed late on a Saturday to replace my starter. Grateful. Now back in NY.

Service is horrible the tow driver Paul didnt follow my towing instructions as to where leave my car. Then when contacted about his wrong doing he hung up the phone on me. I will never use their service again.Contacted owner the next day, who was very understanding to the situation that occured. He advise me that he would speak to this employee.

The towing company stole from my husbands car. My husband went to pick up next day and things were missing from glove compartment. The driver was rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend this company.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I thought this place was credible because they are connected to AVIS car rental. Im in the military and not from the area, wasnt sure if I should trust Thompsons or not. They serviced a Dodge Charger with front brakes, rotors and a new battery in May 2018, spent $589. In September 2018, I started having the same issue with my brakes. I called Thompsons, spoke with Stan and was told it must be the way that I drive. Additionally, they could only help me if I had the original receipt because they dont keep records. Today, I called to ask about the warranty for the AAA battery to be replaced in less than 6 months and was given the same response. I challenged the no receipt response and was told they would have to pay an Accountant to pull the original receipt and that would be a charge. No receipt No Service at THOMPSONS seems to be their business moto....cant believe this is acceptable in the state of Maryland. NO STARS!!!

The driver was EXTREMELY rude!! He was dispatched through AAA. When he got here, we were confirming the drop off place of my car, which AAA had already given him. He was stating that the over mileage was WAY more than what I know it was. We were BOTH looking at the map and I have two eyes, so I can see the mileage. He wanted to charge me a flat rate instead of the correct rate, over the 5 miles I was already given by my coverage with AAA. Thats not ethical or honest. When I told him let me call AAA to verify, he got in his tow and pulled off. No conversation, no communication. Rude and dishonest. He needs to be addressed. I work hard and should not have to feel Im trying to be taken advantage of for a few dollars, Highly upset,

Went here because my radiator was leaking repairs were straight forward, a bit pricey but acceptable. They were able to complete the repairs around 3 hours earlier than estimated so that was nice. Some cash that I had left in the car was missing so if you plan on getting service here, dont leave valuables in the car.

They towed my car from an accident scene and were very helpful and courteous when I went to retrieve my belongings from my vehicle.

My car broke down on the intersection of 22 and Paradise Rd and one of the Thompson Towing truck drivers happened to drive up to the intersection a minute later. He already had a car he was towing but he helped get my car out of the intersection and onto the shoulder. He even came back later to check if I was alright and if I needed to be towed but unfortunately progressive roadside assistance contracted another company. He was a A+ guy and you should be proud that a guy like that works for your company :)

Horrible customer service! I called for a towing service. They told me that the driver would arrived within an hour, more than 2 hours waiting and still nothing!NEVER AGAIN. If they would tell me 2 hours l would make plans for it instead of let me waiting in vain.It’s a shame l couldn’t give them ZERO stars...

Guy at the desk was very frustrated and angry when I walked in. He then sent me into garage to repeat my auto reoair question. A couple of mechanics sitting there expressed they were angry because they have to work on a holiday. Really unprofessional. Just left, did not trust them with my car. They were pretty annoyed about working on a holiday

They where honest and understanding I had my car towed to there shop and I told them I didnt have much money so the mechanic did his best to keep the repair low and he did I would recommend this place to anyone

They were honest, the fuel pump went on my car Friday night two weeks ago, I called AAA and Thompsons was the provider in the area. They called me first thing Saturday to let me know what the problem was and the time frame and price right away. The staff was friendly and treated me fairly. I would recommend Thompsons to anyone for future services.

Called AAA and Thimpsons Towing was dispatched. I was given a ETA within 45 minutes from AAA. I saw the flat bed on the shoulder from where my vehicle was. The tow truck driver called and we told him exactly where we were. After another 25 minutes (which I could have walked to the tow truck), a different company was dispatched by AAA. I called Thompsons Towing and was informed it wasnt their area!!???? Before calling Thompsons directly, called the tow driver (on number he called us from) and guess what.....NO ANSWER. This is absolutely ridiculous. Shouldnt have accepted the call from AAA if it wasnt your area. Im quite sure we gave AAA the address of where we were, so passing that info to Thompsons seems logical right??!! I will do everything in my power to get this company removed from AAA list of Towing companies. Absolutely unprofessional and shady (not answering phone). Everywhere I can find this company listed, I will post this review. They should ashamed.

These people are the WORST. I requested service through AAAA on November 6, 2017 for my vehicle to be towed from Aberdeen to Arlington, VA to the Mercedes Benz Dealership. And they sent this Horrible towing company. The guy came at 6:38am to hook up my car. I took pictures before he hooked it up. He was very mean, rude and in a rush. Around 930am on my way to work in a Uber, I received a call stating that my car was totaled. I immediately was appalled asking how. And I literally started crying. According to the Service Manager at the dealership, the guy who totaled my car, didn’t strap my car properly and the Strap broke, which caused my car to smash. I was sent pictures and the dealership said they couldn’t work on my car because my whole front end was smashed in. They stated the driver admitted his wrong and provided his company information. I called the company and they avoided me for the longest stating their owner Jerry Thompson was in meetings all day. I had to go up there after work just to find him. No remorse was shown and he was a complete liar and very arrogant. My car is paid off and they didn’t care. Stating his drivers never want to work or call out. Like that’s an excuse to total my car. Their Insurance company “Brethern Mutual” came to look at my car Thursday November 9th and considered it totaled it out to be $1170.00. Not considering the fact it was my only car and that’s not even enough for a down payment on a another car. So what my car had 305k miles and was in Fair condition with barely a scratch, it’s the fact, it was MY CAR. DO NOT trust this company with your Car. They’re the most Unprofessional, Lying people I’ve ever seen in my Life! And i will be putting this review on other sites along with pictures!!!!!! I’m so pissed!

This company was super compassionate after our family was in Ana accident, we forgot our toddlers favorite blanket in our vehicle that they towed and they made sure we were able to retrieve it even though it was closing time when I realized what I had done and called them.

Possibly the scummiest place I have ever doen business with. This company was my only option when I called AAA to tow me off of i95. They proceeded to tell me I would have to pay $3000-$5000 to fix my wiring harness. I brought a family friend mechanic by the next day and he saw no real issue. Thompsons charged me a few hundred to get my car back, after paying the towing fees, once seeing that I had a mechanic with me. Thompsons called it a wiring nightmare. The issue was rectified with a $3.50 fuze. Please never ever give them your business. While I was there, they told a young teenage couple they needed their engine replaced after towing them off of the highway. This company was the worst company I have ever dealt with, please never ever give them your business. I will be calling every lawyer I can to get this business shut down. Stay away, for you and your wallets sake...By the numbers, they charged me 17x what my repair would have costed, without fixing my car. They knew I was from New York, and let me incur over $600 travel fees to complete the less than $4 fuze replacement. To put it in perspective, they tried to charge me over 1400x (fourteen hundred times) the amount my repair costed in the end. This was not a mistake but an attempt to scam money from a young out of state vacationer, recently towed from a nearby highway. Again, if you ever hear of them, please relay my story. As the worst company I have ever dealt with, I would like to make it my young lifes mission to end this business, for the sake of our society.
