Ive been living here since 2017, the area is large and beautiful.Although, my only complaint is though our air con has been broken all summer with no help. Otherwise, its a great place!

Ive lived in this area for 20+ years. Very nice area to live, lots of new construction, close enough to cities like Baltimore without being in the city. This is my 3rd year at Riverside Apartments. The buildings and grounds are pretty and well kept, common areas, trail, playground all clean. Neighbors are quiet- friendly. The staff is really nice, friendly, helpful, super responsive- even to minor issues. Maintenance is also super responsive, fast to address even small things like changing lightbulbs! You can pay rent online, submit maintenance tickets online- theres also an app. I think the rent is a bit high, but very worth it for what you get. I definitely recommend

We really enjoy living in this apartment complex. There is always plenty of communication between management and the residents. We also like that whenever we have any issues, it is always heard and addressed promptly. Great, quiet, friendly community. Move in process was great. Office staff Is great, friendly and responsive. Alyse assisted me throughout the entire process. She was patient, informative and phenomenal. I have since spoke with Karen who is great and pleasant also. I’ve had two maintenance tickets so far and the turn around was super quick. I love it here and would definitely recommend this complex to others.The units are spacious and well kept. Bathrooms and bedrooms are nice size. The kitchen islands in all units are massive!I’ve visited other communities in Aberdeen and I’m pleased and happy with the choice I made to live here.

The new management company does not want to hear about your complaints and does not address the issues at hand.Parking is not enforced at all, and people park anywhere they want, double parking in fire lanes and in no parking areas.According to them if your AC goes out on the weekend (which happened to us) it is not considered emergency service until the temperature outside is over 90 degrees. Even though the temperature inside is in the upper 80s and you cant cook anything due to the fear of raising the temperature even further. After several calls they still say someone will get to it on Monday, theres nothing they can do for you. I even offered to pay an HVAC company out of my pocket, and take care of it and they say they dont have keys to the Mechanical Room. For the amount of money you pay in rent, you do not get the expected service. I would not recommend anyone renting from this property as long as the current management company is running things. I hope the owner of the property sees what is happening and makes the necessary changes, but I doubt that happens.

Do not move here. The owner changed management companies and it’s not been a great experience. They have raised everyone’s rent and do not keep up on the property. They hardly answer the phone anymore during open hours. I googled the new management company (Maryland Management Company) and every place they manage has bad reviews. It’s unfortunate because this used to be a nice place to live.

I love living in this community, the staff are all great as well as the residents. The pool house is Wonderful with other amenities for everyone that lives here. There are a couple playgrounds for the kids to play on. There is a big dog park for you dogs, and multiples smaller ones too. There is a walking/ bike path throughout the community also. Maintenance is great with all calls for work orders, the community is always clean, and the location is awesome. Riverside Apartments, a pet friendly community, are conveniently fitting well with tenants needs and activities. I feel safe living in this diverse community, with nicely kept landscapes and very well managed maintenance. Parking is noticeable easy, although I enjoy a garage area. I find my apartment comfortable and well designed. It will be hard to find another place like this. I do recommend Riverside Apartments to my friends, when they visit, for what I hear from them it is only praises.

I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the administrative and maintenance personnel at Riverside. Your response time and professionalism is superb. Your attitudes are impeccable. Youre always friendly and go out of your way to make things better. In addition, the grounds are well kept, the pool is wonderfully inviting, the gym equipment and environment are always clean and repaired. The walking trail is debris free. Riverside is a great place to live.

Kathleen Wards team genuinely cares about the residents satisfaction. They go above and beyond while providing premium service delivery. Their rapid-response approach to customer service makes them undeniably the best property managers in the state. Good on them, and I only regret that they cant relocate with me.

So I went to the property Monday and was walking around and then came into contact with Taylor. Who seemed very sweet and nice. I toured the model which has all the qualities of each 1,2 and 3rd floor. Not all the floors have the same materials I found out which is very misleading and FALSE ADVERTISEMENT . The model has vinyl flooring which come to find out only the first floors do. The model has stainless steel appliances which only the third floors do. The second floors have none of the above. I inquired about the carpet because I was along with the model showed a unit which was being touched up. A second floor one bed and a den unit. The carpet was AWFUL. But I Was told Taylor get back to me the next day- but never did. The next day which was Tuesday I Heard nothing- like I was suppose to. Then I didn’t hear anything on WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. On Friday I called and left two messages. Waited hours then called back a THIRD time then finally!! she got back to me. Still no offer to hold a unit and said she once again speak to someone, finally I called back for the property manager who was the rudest person in sales I ever spoke to! Kenny was his name and he told me that even though it was an inconvenience that it really wasn’t because instead of the one bedroom with den for $1410 I could lease a two bedroom for $1575 and he take off $250 and then acted like I was ungrateful for not accepting a later move in. A $2100 increase yearly and an extra $175 a month for a bottom floor. When having a balcony was a request, he even went on to say that He was “helping me out.” As sweet as Taylor seemed she wasn’t a seasoned leading agent or even good at her job because I told her I was ready to sign and get a place ASAP for my new job and the area. NEVER told me how to apply or even the process. Said she had a personal matter and that’s why it took her days to get back even though she NEVER DID. I called four times to reach HER!. Makes ZERO sense as that’s her job. The property looks ok but honestly for $1600 a month you can lease a luxury apartment with way better amenities and be able to use them. As I was told you can’t even have friends visit and use the pool with you upon leasing. LEASER THINK BEFORE YOU LEASE! I’m so glad I learned how unprofessional the leasing staff was before it was TOO LATE! ALSO PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS BECAUSE NONE OF THE POSTIVE ONES ARE VERIFIED!!!!

My husband and I have lived here for 6 years and have had a wonderful experience. We live in a townhouse and love to sit on our balcony and enjoy the ambience. We use the pool in the summertime and it is always clean and beautifully well kept. We use the fitness room all year round and many times have a cup of coffee in the clubhouse after our workout. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the apartments and grounds are well maintained. We especially like the organized activities in the clubhouse for the residents. Thirsty Thursday and Wine Down Wednesdays are always a big hit, and gives us a chance to meet new neighbors, who may have just moved in, and tell them what a wonderfully well run apartment complex this is. We would recommend these apartments to anyone who is thinking of moving here.

I love staying here. The leasing office staff is extremely personable and inviting. They go above and beyond to ensure their residents needs are met. This is by far my best apartment living experience. I have absolutely no complaints!

Having recently moved to Maryland for a job transfer, I toured at least five complexes to get a feel for the area. In the end, it was an easy decision and one I’m glad I made. Riverside Apartments has many compelling amenities set in an inviting, friendly, and well maintained community. Nine months later, I have had no issues with my unit and have been consistently impressed by the staff. In fact, the staff at Riverside is easily the most professional and engaging that I have encountered through my stay at nearly ten apartment complexes. They go above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and offer a variety of social events for the community. Build quality, amenities, and the staff make Riverside Apartments a great pick for anyone in the market.

Lived here for 7 months now and never had an issue. The apartments are beautiful and spacious. The floor plans are great. The staff in the office is always friendly and the maintenance staff is awesome! Anytime if had an issue, there are out within 24 hours and solve the issue promptly. You cannot go wrong with living here.

I have lived here in the Riverside Apartments for five years. During this time, I have enjoyed the many amenities the property offers such as the pool, the beautiful walking paths through the woods and lots of fun events. I have met many neighbors, that I now call friends. Last year I had my birthday gathering in the spacious Clubhouse and my family and friends all commented that they felt like they were at a resort. Indeed, I too feel the same. The shopping center just 2 minutes away provides me with everything I need on a weekly basis. Before I moved here, I was a home owner, and I was tired of all the upkeep and work that involved. Now I just pick up the phone for any service repairs, I watched professionals clear mounds of snow last year during the blizzard and I sip iced tea while the lawn gets mowed every week “by someone other than me”. I can honestly say this was one of the best decisions I have made. The office staff and management are friendly and helpful to me. The maintenance and grounds crew are super. I am happy to call Riverside my home.

The apartments themselves are fairly clean and look beautiful when we were touring them. Unfortunately, when we moved in this past December, there were multiple stains on the carpet, the cabinets above the stove were disgusting (like greasy) and there were no heating elements on the stove top, really? We made sure this was all documented, and the heating elements were replaced (but nothing else was fixed).The next couple months were good, fairly uneventful. Then the apartment switched management, and it all went pretty horribly after that. In our lease, it stated that payments were to be made by check to the leasing office, but after the change we were informed that they would no longer accept any payment at the office, but we had to go online and pay. Okay, no big deal, but every payment option carried a fee. Payment with a credit/debit card carried a FIFTY DOLLAR fee! Every single month, a fifty dollar fee that was no where in our original lease.So we broke our lease and moved out ASAP. In my lease (which was never changed by the new management) it states that I can still get my deposit back even if the lease is broken. Did I get that deposit? No. Its been three months since Ive sent my registered letter, and now I have to go to small claims court, because they refuse to acknowledge me at all.Its just been a huge hassle from the moment the new management came in, and were really frustrated and disappointed.

By and far the BEST apartments in the area. Awesome layouts. Great prices. Great neighborhood and the staff is friendly, outgoing and helpful. I have been here for a little over a month at the time of this review, I will update the review if anything changes!

THE GOOD: I have lived at Riverside Apartments since 2012 and overall it is a great place. The amenities are great - walking trails, bark park, pool, gym and now a yoga studio! Neighborhood is quiet and I feel very safe. The apartments spacious and well built. My apartment is on the third floor so I have a sunroom, stainless steel appliances, and ceiling fans in every room. Such a convenience during the spring/summer months. Ms. Kathy in the management office is FANTASTIC and is always there to assist.THE NOT SO GREAT: I have had two issues since I have lived here and both occurred when we switched over to the new management company about a year ago. When they switched over to a new pay system and when I had a maintenance issue with my carbon monoxide detector. Both issues were immediately rectified upon notification and I received an apology letter for both incidents. That was over a year ago so I am confident that the issues with the new management companys processes have been smoothed out.Notice I stated not so great and not bad. That is because this is a great place to live. Some of the reviews have stated that it feels as if they are living on a resort and I must say I agree. Three colleagues have moved to their own place at Riverside Apartments after visiting my home and they also love it! I look forward to many more years at Riverside!

Best Community Experience Ive witnessed in my renting in 5 months. Everyone is respectful of each others belongings and you feel secure knowing your best interests are at the heart of management. I would highly recommend this apartment community to any of my friends/colleagues, leasing office staff is very helpful and cooperative. this is best community to live in belcamp and aberdeen.

Riverside Apartments was our first experience of apartment life and I think we are spoiled. We were skeptical about moving in to an apartment after selling our home but needed a place to transition while we searched for our new house. Riverside Apartments has everything you could ask for. A 24 hour fitness center with a yoga room, 3 playgrounds, walking trails over a mile long, multiple car wash stations, a business center with WiFi, a large dog park, outdoor pool with a splash pad, and great events hosted by the wonderful staff! Our family of 5 have truly enjoyed living at Riverside Apartments and would recommend this place to anyone looking in this area.

I currently live here and highly dont recommend this place. Office staff isnt good and very unprofessional. Also for what you pay you get pretty much the crappiest appliances. The floors are cracked the ceiling is cracked.Not very pet friendly around here you have to hide your dog even when youre home because of maintenance.

Absolutely awful. They arent non-smoking--this was a problem when constant cigarette smoke flooded my apartment making me unable to work or function without being sick. The managers promised to fix it, and never did. The managers promised to let us out of our lease, and they never did. They lie all the time! The only nice office worker isnt there any longer and the gyms tv systems dont work. This place is just smoke and mirrors. Dont waste your money on this place.

I moved here in June 12 and as of today August 13, Im completely satisfied with this complex. Fair price, great service at the leasing office, great square footage, nice luxurious feel, decent neighbors. Most folks here work at APG. The ladies at the office are doing a great job. They should, however, reevaluate the parking. They dont enforce the one car in front of building policy and such. So often I get left without a spot forcing me to park a fair distance away and its frustrating. They are still expanding, so hopefully theyll fix this. They should also have more get togethers for all the residents, it helps to meet your neighbors. Soon, there will be additional town homes in phase 2, and even more units in phase 3 in the near future. All in all, great place.

My wife and I lived here for two years, just moved out last month. Great apartment, affordable, and wonderful service at the leasing office.

Weve lived for a little over 60 days now so I figured it was time to write a review. I want to say first that we do love our apartment however the highway to that love was rocky.When we first went into our new apartment we were so excited but that excitement was short lived after going through the apartment and finding many issue which were as follows:1. Painting was not good at all including drips and dust all over the baseboards and paint on the carpet.2. Our bathroom was dusty and the toilet was streaked as if someone had used it and not cleaned it (GROSS!) The kitchen was not cleaned very well, grease on the microwave and on the cabinets over the stove. There was also debris in some of the cabinets. The top of the refrigerator was dust covered. The stove ok.3. The laundry room was in good order but very dusty and the washer smelled horrible.4. The carpet was not new and had several stains on it and you could see where all the furniture was before. I would have liked new carpet but understand thats not how it works. But at least a cleaned and stain free carpet would have been nice.5. The common area hallway is often very dirty. Someone spilled something like potting soil on our level (3rd top) and I called the office and they assured me someone would take care of it. That never happened so the next day I swept it up. Ive complained about the hallway a few times and they tell me they are cleaned once a week by the cleaning contractor. I explained to them that these people are not cleaning the upper levels of the hallway and are just doing the 1st & 2nd floors which I find ridiculous. So I usually just vacuum our level when I do our place. For the amount of rent I expect the whole hallway to be kept clean.6. The property itself is pretty nice but the landscaping is absolutely horrible. There is dirt or mud where there should be grass. The walking trail is great to take stroll on. The dog park is a total mud pit with no grass so if you take your pooch to play be prepared to give them a bath when your done playing. Ive lived in cheaper places that have much better landscaping.7. The clubhouse and fitness center are very nice and seem to be well maintained. The pool also looks great.8. The maintenance staff definitely leaves something to be desired. I had Latino maintenance guy do a repair on our toilet and he smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. I couldnt wait for him to get out of our apartment. Better screening is obviously needed.9. The office staff is nice enough as long as you dont really need anything. Ive called several times to speak with the property manager Lynn about many issues and Im constantly told she stepped out. They wont take a message they just tell you to call back in a bit. They had an event at the clubhouse where the office staff & maintenance staff were all there along with many other residents drinking alcohol. I found this to be very unprofessional for this kind of place. As the evening progressed the maintenance staff were carrying on pretty good with everyone and all I could think of was these are the people entering my apartment to make repairs and ect. Made me very uncomfortable. We approached the property manager who was also in attendance at this event and started to tell her about some of our issues and she said this wasnt the time or place for this conversation and asked us if we could please call the next morning. At that point I was floored and we left. And no we didnt call the next morning instead we wrote a letter and mailed it to the office and have yet to hear anything in return.Hopefully things will be ok because we actually really like our apartment once we cleaned it and got it up to snuff.We would like to remain anonymous at this pount due to the fact the maintenance staff and office staff live on property.
