Update: Surplus reached out and worked with us on a solution and will be providing a replacement. We appreciate the customer service and willingness to work with us.We purchased a Corning Hot Plate stirrer from Surplus that arrived with the entire motor mechanism for the stirring being corroded nearly beyond recognition. When I contacted the company for some sort of assistance with a unit arriving dead on arrival, I was told that there were no known issues at the facility. As seen in the photo, this level of corrosion does not occur during shipping.

Dishonest! I bought a scale from them, at first it was showed with accessories; upon purchase, they refuse to release the cables and the accessories. Unreliable and unhelpful customer service, no calls returned, they even refused to give the AC specifics. STAY AWAY! Later, I found another place where they sell the same item for a fraction of the price. Obviously, SSLLC refused to refund me. WORST EXPERIENCE
