Strobert came out and gave us a fair estimate. They had to use a large crane to remove our trees. The team they sent was efficient and fast. They cleaned up all the leaves and branches. They had to leave logs on the front of our property which caused some divets in the grass but they filled it in with soil and grass seed. We were really impressed.

Hired Strobert to remove several trees in my yard. Their sales rep was knowledgeable and provided a quote right away. They had to use a crane to remove some of the trees and the crew that came out performed the job with professional efficiency.While the stump grinding and cleanup did not go as planned, Strobert worked with me to get everything taken care of.

They initially came out and removed the two trees I asked them. They also did stump removal. One of the tree stumps did not get ground down enough I did not pay to have shavings removed so I did not realize at time of job the stump needed to be ground down more. The guy doing the grinding said he would come back if needed. Iv called numerous times. They refuse to call back. They called back once to say they would finish the job I waited two months called and told not on schedule. Told I would receive a call and three days later still waiting. I am shocked that they would want to leave this business relationship this way.

The owner replied back with We have no record of this person on our record?? Do you want me to publicly post the purchase order number or the back and forth email I had with your rep/service-person??First, its always good to read these reviews before hiring a company; I would have not wasted a 30% down payment. AFTER making the down-payment and not getting a schedule on-time, I called another company which DID-NOT ask for a down-payment and got the job done within a week.Just do a 5 minutes research online on any company before signing a proposal (especially if it involves down payment), dont just go by word of mouth alone.

Me and 3 of my neighbors organized together to trim and drop quite a few trees. It was a strenuous process for us all. After seeking many bids, we hired Strobert to do the job and we have no regrets. They won our business by giving honest consultation on what needed to be removed and what could be saved. Rich D gracefully handled 4 opinionated neighbors and won all our trust in the process. He won our bid initially but won our repeat business now that the job is done. Him and his crew showed up on time, kept a clean & safe site and did everything asked of them and more. Wed welcome them back anytime and recommend you do the same. Strobert is A++.

Disappointed no response. Gave cell number and email. No response after 2 weeks. They worked on neighbors tree and drove in my yard without permission and damaged the yard with truck. Considering legal action.

I made a big mistake by taking the word of a neighbor without reading the reviews of Strobert. Had I done so first, I would have saved a significant amount of time as there are many bad reviews. I called to schedule a quote for a significant amount of work in my yard on numerous trees. It took about 3 weeks for someone to come out, but it was late summer so that didnt surprise me. The estimator, Bill, was prompt, polite and very knowledgeable and provided a quote before leaving. I signed the contract, gave them a 30% deposit and was told it should be about 3 weeks and they would call the day before scheduling. After 5 weeks, I reached out to check on the status multiple times but received no response. After 6 weeks, I reached out to the owner, Andy Strobert and Wanda in their office and Wanda apologized. I finally heard from the sales person who stated he was very far behind with calls. He put me on the calendar for the following week and confirmed with me. My husband took the day off so he could make sure no vehicles or any of his equipment was in the way. Needless to say, they were a no show and never called. I called the office and they always dodge calls and have the answering service take messages. I sent an email demanding a refund and had to still follow up with them. Bill stated that he spoke to Andy, they definitely screwed up and Andy would be calling me that afternoon to discuss and apologize. That was a week ago and Im still waiting. The only prompt thing they did was issue a refund within 24 hours of my demand. I wasted over 2 months time and now need to start the search all over. Save yourself the headache and move on to someone who cares about their clients and knows how to communicate!!***UPDATE: After posting a negative review on the company website, I did receive a call from Andy Strobert. He knew that they had made a significant number of errors and apologized. Since I didnt want to go through the hassle of starting the search for bids again, I gave him a shot to see if they would come through. Ultimately, they showed up, were courteous and did a nice job. When they had to drive on the lawn, they took extra care by placing mats down to drive on. All in all, the work was completed, but took too long and communication was a challenge. Upgraded from 1 star to 3.

The Strobert Tree Services provided exceptional customer service , expertise , attention to details, and very reasonable price for services. This was the first time I hired Strobert Tree Services.The entire process of getting a quote, to online services of accepting the quote, to scheduling the work of trimming several trees , to arriving on time , to a very friendly and excellent crew , to cleanup which went above and beyond. An exceptional tree service . I highly recommend them . I will be using their spraying services in the Spring ,2021.

My neighbor hired Strobert to remove overgrown brush and a wooden swingset from his yard. When I arrived home I saw the discarded swing set in my front yard, not theirs.  I called Strobert to find out when the material would be removed and explained that it was discarded in my yard instead of the neighbor where the work was being performed.  I was told that it would be either that afternoon or tomorrow morning. I did not want the trash sitting on our lawn for a long period of time because I knew it would kill the grass, so we moved the material to my neighbors lawn a few feet away. My neighbor’s daughter helped me move it.As we were moving the material, I could see that some of the posts had been pushed into the ground causing ruts and holes that were at least 8 deep.  It appeared that they were embedded by equipment running over it.  There were tire marks running across the entire front of my lawn and into the neighbors yard.I called the office again and told them about the damage that was caused and was told they were on the phone with my neighbor discussing the issue. My neighbor’s daughter came over after the phone call and told me that someone was coming from Elkton to get the waste that afternoon.  When they arrived, I told them what had happened, as explained above.  They seemed to be in agreement with me as to what had happened and seemed upset with the person who had performed the work.  It appears that topsoil and some sort of seed pellets were laid by the crew who picked up the trash.The lawn can be repaired.  What doesnt make sense is that their employees could have easily accessed the neighbor’s yard from their driveway and just as easily piled the waste in their yard as we did.  Instead, they made the choice to unnecessarily use our yard with total disregard for any damages it would cause. We are out all of the time and effort expended to correct this problem and will need to invest more time in repairing the lawn.When I emailed all of this info plus info to Strobert, I was told that there would be a meeting with the owner and the crew and the would get back to me within two days. A week later, we have not heard anything from them.

I was very pleased with my experience from the arborist who came out to look at the project, the professionalism of the crew who took down the trees, the clean up crew and the admin staff who called with reminders about when they were coming. And the price was very reasonable after getting other quotes. I highly recommend this company.

On August 20th I placed my 30% deposit for the removal of 5 pines and a maple. I was told my project would be started in 7-10 days. I followed up on the 10th day and was told by the receptionist that due to storms they are now 10-14 days out. When I called on the 14th day to check on the status of my project they told me they wouldnt be able to come out until the beginning of October. At this point I was frustrated but this was just the beginning. I was told they would call me the day before they would come out. On September 23rd, at 8AM Strobert just showed up at my door unannounced. I had to change MY schedule for them. After all the trees were taken down, the project manager told me someone would come back the following week to pick up the logs. Mind you the logs are all over my property, not even piled in one designated area.I called last Wednesday (10/7) and asked when they were coming to get the logs. The gatekeeper said let me check with our operational team I will call you back in an hour. Did i get a response? Of course not. I called again on Thursday (10/8) and the receptionist I spoke with was on the phone but I was told she would call me in an hour. Once again no response. I followed up on Friday (10/9) and I had enough. Somehow I magically made it on the list for pick up for the following week of 10/12I am now writing this review and my logs are still here. I have done nothing but chase down their employees who fail professionalism and structure. Poor service and rude employees. They may give you a good quote but its worth spending more for better service. Complete joke of a business.

Very knowledgeable and professional! And very fair/reasonable pricing. Strobert kept me informed the day before that they would be on my property, which I appreciated! All services were performed in a timely manner. I had 3 trees cut down, several branches trimmed and 2 stumps removed. I will be calling Strobert again for future tree work! Highly recommended!

It is unfortunate that I have to write a bad review. The saleperson and the tree crew were nothing short of awesome. Very large trees were taken down with great care and respect for our property. They were timely (even with numerous weather delays), professional and kept us well informed. Unfortunately when the clean up crew came in to play, everything went south. Some of the trees rolled over and knocked over a small fence and patio area belonging to our neighbor. In addition, our driveway was damaged severely at the street due to the clean up crew. And lastly the backyard has been left uneven with numerous ruts and holes where two of the trees were. The interaction with the owner of Strobert was startling. He stated that I was trying to get something for free and I am unreasonable. At the very least they could have made our neighbor whole. Due to his response and lack of concern, I have to rate them a 1. Very sad indeed.

I have had 2 great experiences with this company. The sales rep, AJ, had a quote for me 10 minutes after meeting with him. The service team led by Elvis did an excellent job. All were cordial and patient with our questions. Thank you Stroebert Tree Service.

I accepted the quote and gave my credit card info. I was told that someone would contact me to set it up. I followed up three times and each time I was told they would get back to me right away. Then they sent the same person back thinking I wanted a quote.The last woman I spoke to was just rude and awful. Now my tree is nearly dead and I have to start all over again with a different company.

After a100 ft co-dominant tree fell in the morning we called to have Strobert remove the other so it would not fall straight through our house. They declined because we did not give them a recent bid for work even though we WERE existing customers and they have done work for us in the past. (Dont be 25-50% higher price than the next 4 bids from legit licensed and insured companies and maybe you would get the work). No concern for customer safety... I will not not be using them in the future and we have a lot of tree work we need done.

Tree fell on home from storm on June 5. The only thing that has gone right since then is working with Strobert. They were patient and efficient. The work they did was wonderful and its been the only thing that has been easy throughout this whole process. The price they gave was reasonable and they even did more than I expected. There were other tree services that were too expensive and one that refused to give a discount they offered online. But Strobert was perfect. I highly recommend them if youre looking for a job well done. They were also very nice and pleasant whenever I spoke with them and extremely responsive to all messages. I will only go to them for any tree work I need done from now on.

Strobert tree service did a wonderful job in my yard. They were prompt in responding to my initial call. Their estimate was very reasonable. The follow up with tree care and yard maintenance was quick and thorough. I could not be happy with my overall experience with this company. Good interaction with all employees at my home and on the phone. Definitely will be using them again!

Fantastic experience. Theres guys are to notch. I had AF opportunity to watch them in action and we had some BIG trees... It was incredibly fast and beyond my expectations. They are very affordable although I did get a lot of work done, the price for removing 19 mixed size trees was about the same price as a neighbor experienced for a partial removal and pruning of just one medium size tree.I would like to see them actually remove sinks stumps. They did a great job grinding them down and because they didnt remove it saved me thousands... But Id still like the option.All in all I talked to 4 other tree removal companies and this was by far the most professional of them all

Great upfront experience with the arborist who clearly explained the process and next steps, including a work time frame of 2 weeks. Unfortunately it took 5 weeks to actually get the tree taken down and this didnt happen until after a 2nd storm that resulted in the tree leaning and threatening my house. Throughout this time I had to call the office repeatedly to inquire about the status and was only able to talk to the receptionist who had no information. Despite the fact I communicated I was waiting on this work for planned landscaping work and the threat to my house, there was a complete firewall between me and any mgmt or operational contacts. If you read the fine print of the contract they were in their rights to delay the work, however it was horrible customer service and an unnecessary wait time. There are plenty of other tree services to go with and recommend going elsewhere.

I am extremely picky.I am skeptical of every business and expected to be let downBut who ever from Strobert pruned my huge Wild Cherry tree did a good job. The tree looks amazing. I wasnt here when they did the tree but was happy to see the tree look so good.

Hired Strobert Tree Services to remove a large bird sanctuary (aka large thorn bush) and clean the woodline of additional overgrowth (including thorns, weeds, and rogue ornamental grass growth), cut back vines growing on trees, and removing a small trees.The bird sanctuary was well done. All roots were removed and the area was taken down to dirt as agreed upon during the estimate.The additional wood line was a huge disappointment. Firstly, they only string trimmed the overgrowth and did not take it down to dirt only as was agreed upon during the estimate. Secondly, they stopped short of the scope but did eventually come back out and finish. Thirdly, since it was string trimmed everything is already growing back...unlike the bird sanctuary area which is still dirt only as agreed upon.They did a good job cutting the vine growth on the trees.They did a good job on cutting down the small tree.Overall...5 star on bird sanctuary1 star on the remainder of the wood line...and they did what was agreed upon for the vines and the tree.Would I use again or recommend for brush removal, probably not.

Specified a timeline for the removal of a tree slopping toward the street and a potential hazard. After providing payment info for the deposit I was told I would receive a phone call to schedule. None received. I called the office and was told the scheduler had left for the day. Another day passed without communication. I contacted the arborist who provided the estimate, and he said the scheduler (whose name I learned is Sean) claimed he spoke with me and I moved the timeline. Flat out lie. Never had a conversation with anyone other than the arborist and the woman who took my cc information. After this exchange, I canceled the contract. Strobert is refusing to refund my deposit so this has been filed as a disputed charge with the cc company. Very unprofessional company.

Returned calls promptly. Were on time for estimate & job. Worked quickly & professionally & cleaned up the yard after doing the work. And the price was reasonable. Couldnt ask for better.

After the storm last week we had one tree that fell and another that was close to falling. We called a few Tree companies and picked Strobert to remove the trees from our property. They did a great job, cleaned up the yard and the price was reasonable. I recommend Strobert Tree to anyone with Tree needs

I called Strobert Tree Services to trim an elm and three silver maples. They have provided light for my flower beds and a lovely canopy. I could tell that the estimator and owner would love growing things. Work is beautiful. I wouldnt call anyone else!

Andy (the owner), Rich & Jennifer are the gems in this company and the only reason they even earned this 1 star. (Depending on how their mistake is corrected early next week, this evaluation will change.)Wanda- the manager- hung up on me after I was trying to voice my concern over a miscommunication and unclear proposal given to me by Mark. After calling back, I was repeatedly sent to the answering service and finally on the 8th call, someone picked up but never spoke to me. (Unprofessional and inhumane customer service likely a result of Wandas recommendation, I could hear coughing and a conversation about my situation before finally being hung up on once again.) Wanda claimed that I was hustling them- nope, just a young homeowner that was confused by the non-detailed proposal and a miscommunication.Thankfully on my final call, Andy the owner answered - spoke to me like an adult and treated me fairly and honestly. He admitted their mistake, said hed be in touch early next week and that either way my deposit would be returned and we would start the estimate/proposal over.In short, work with those I mention above and avoid Wanda and double check Mark when connecting with this organization. Wanda does not have an excuse for mistreating another human being like that, nor hanging up, nor making broad accusations. Mark made a mistake and didnt write up a clear proposal.We all have bad days, were all human and we all need be treated with respect.

Ill echo the thoughts others have posted, find a different company to do your tree work. Our neighborhood contracted with Strobert to do tree removal along the tree belt, area between the sidewalk and street. After cutting down a large sized tree along the side of our home, all of the branches were removed, however the large size trunk was left behind. Despite calling on a number of occasions to have the large tree trunk removed, Strobert seemed unconcerned and has done nothing at this time. The large trunk still remains into week two and has obviously killed all the grass below. I would recommend using another tree company for better customer care and quality service.

Chip arrived promptly at the promised time and assessed the problem of my sick tree. After examining the tree and researching on-line for options for treatment, he offered me two options of how to handle the situation. Although I am not happy about my sick tree, I was pleased to receive the information in a professional manner which will allow me to make a decision that will be benefit my home and budget for the long-term.

Was looking for a local company to take care of a variety of a variety of tree. Spoke with with a few companies and had Strobert send out one of their arborists. Chip came out for the consultation and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Me and my wife decided to give Strobert a try and so far the service has been outstanding. I highly recommend Strobert for your tree care needs

We had two trees in our backyard that we needed removed to allow us to put in a patio. We had a few local tree companies give us an estimate and we decided on Strobert. They came out and did a great job removing the trees and I am very happy with both their service and the price. I recommend Strobert if you have any trees you need removed

The workers did a good job of trimming and removing dead branches from the tree. The administrative side did not match their level of work though. Administrative was very unprofessional on the phone. I was never given a call to when the tree service was coming and then charged me an extra 2% to the total, without my knowledge or permission. Will never hire this company again based on the poor administrative side.To the owner: would you say its fair not to be given any notice of when the tree service was coming, not being issued an apology then charged an extra 2%?

We had used Strobert Tree Services for some work last year and were very pleased with the quote, the communications, and the work. We did not hesitate to contact them again when a storm took down a huge oak tree this March. This time they did not let us know when they were coming out to do work, which was problematic as we have dogs and some of the tree work necessitated us removing a section of our fence. (After repeated requests and complaints, Strobert did eventually notify us when workers would be out.) The estimator in charge of our job was belligerent when we pointed out that work had not been done according to our contract, and after two months of trying to resolve everything we are flying the white flag of surrender. We still have parts of the tree lying in our yard that were contracted to be removed, but we have decided the hours it will take us to split it ourselves are preferable to arguing any longer with the company.

The crew was very efficient and finished the job in less time that I expected. They were neat, professional and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Highly recommend their service to anyone seeking tree removal or trimming.

Very professional crew. Made sure that they took care of my property as to not destroy anything other than what was being taken down, which was a lot. From start to finish everything was top notch.

Called for estimate. Cindy took the call. Reluctant to do estimate when advised tenant is a police officer. Remarked Oh great! Is he going to shoot my estimator?. In the background a woman could be heard screaming Listen, Vanessa! If someone had told us about putting your son for a nap from 12-3 we wouldve done that! She kept screaming at the person on the phone. Cindy commented that it was loud in there today. When I remarked about the unprofessional nature of the circumstances I was told they better not do an estimate for me after all.

I requested a price to have a tree removed. The estimator came to the site and proceeded to treat me like an idiot, not knowing that I already had a reasonable price for the service. He then took weeks to get back to me with a price. Company should learn that is better to just tell someone you arent interested with the work then to waste their time.

One star is too muchI wish I read the reviews before contacting this company. Unfortunately I used them 3 years ago and they did a great job.I got an estimate by three companies and they were all equal so I decided to go with the company I used in the past without reading reviews . My advice don’t count on previous experience read reviews companies change situation. I had the worst experience everSigned the agreement contract put a deposit on a credit card and I was surprised that the credit card was charged before the service was done usually companies who are reputable put a hold on your credit card but will let that go. It is the week of the Fourth of July holiday so I have been trying to approach the company to get a time for the job to be started As I was going to be away for that week and I was notified that they are a week behind. WRONG. Yesterday I received a call to notifying me that they’re coming to my location the next day! I requested that my appointment to be changed since I am out of town . To my surprise the scheduler gave me a cell number which I dialed. A man answered the phone and he hang up immediately when I asked him if he is the tree service company . I dialed the number again so he told me he is going to call back in few minutes This man called & notified me that he is indeed the owner of the company (Andy Strobert)and he started to scream at me to my surprise !! I told him excuse me and the next thing he told me ( Don’t tell me excuse me you don’t speak I will tell you when to speak!!) he continued to scream at me telling me that I have no right to talk to his crew I have no right to talk to the people who are doing the service at my house he continued ranting and raging for a few minutes and I let him go since I realize he’s talking to me as the wrong person who apparently got a bad service & talked to the crew at her house !! After he was done with that sermon he Notified me that I can speak!! I explained to him that he is talking to the wrong person since I’m out of town and I have not talked to his crew, But instead of apologizing and finding that he made the mistake he turned on me and he started his rampage since I asked him to change my appointment he was rude he was degrading he was impolite and he threatened he’s going to take my deposit and not give me the service and I should have read my agreement and it was one of the most horrible experience you can get from somebody you’re trying to get a service from.If this is the kind of treatment and service you want to have go ahead and hire this company I was forced to get them to finish the job as they came and I am out of town, not sure what kind of a job they did since the other lady was so displeased with them I probably would write my review as a continuation I think one star is too much for owner who is so impolite and he probably need help he does not need this company which he will bring down

Couldnt even get to the estimate appointment. I called to confirm an appointment and was hung up on twice before even talking to someone. Then transferred without notice and finally hung up on a third time when I told them of my frustration. If this is how your office operates, I can only imagine the rest of your company... And NO, IT DIDNT WORK OUT. You never did anything for me!!! Not sure what youre responding to, other than to try to cover up office employee negligence and ignorance.

I will never do business with this company again. I asked for an estimate to have some tree limbs removed. Once I had the estimate, I found a coupon for $50 off. They would not honor it and told me that it was already the lowest price they could give. Not sure why but I believed them and gave them the required 30% deposit. Over the weekend my neighbor cleared away the branches so I no longer needed the service. I called immediately to cancel, however, they would not refund my deposit. Ridiculous. Never again.

I purchased a very large maple tree last year . I called them numerous times about the tree. They came in May guy said it was good call back in June I called a week ago they will not replace the tree. The owner will not call back nor with the company disclose his name. Unprofessional will never recommended and I’ll make sure not to recommend .

Wilmington crew was excellent with my parents removal of two trees. (5-rating) Sussex County crew, not so much. (1-rating) Started out well with Bob who was prompt & pleasant. But not satisfied with tree removal service on a vacant lot. When I emailed to let them know of my disappointment I was met with a defensive and dismissive attitude from the owner. I never received any replacement cookies that he told me would be delivered. My advise is to keep shopping if you live in Sussex County.

I didnt hire this company, but my neighbor did. Woken up to sounds of people walking on my roof, look out my window to see their employees are walking all over our roof. My wife had given them permission to go into the back yard, but never gave permission to go on our roof. Think twice before you hire them, because as the homeowner, you could be responsible for any damage they do to someone elses property.

All work was performed in a timely manner with professional employees. I was completely satisfied with their work and would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to others.

If youd like to know why, heres my horror story...I had them scheduled to come out on 5/24/18 between 8-8:30am to remove one dead tree from the front yard and a couple of trees from the back yard. I woke up to the sound of chainsaws at 7:30am that morning. They showed up over 30 minutes early, did not call when they were on their way, and did not make contact with me before starting any work. Better yet, they cut down the WRONG TREE (a 20-25 year old fully-bloomed red maple) in my front yard and left the dead tree standing!I kept very detailed notes over the next few months with the date/time of contact, who I spoke with, and what we discussed. Ill spare you the details (mostly because Ill exceed the character limit here!), but you should know that as of today (9/25/18), I still have not heard from the owner (Andy) and my situation is not resolved. They tried to replace the tree they cut down by accident with a much smaller tree, but I refused. Their tree guy (Chip) told me that my 20-25 year old red maple was worth over $1500, and their estimator (Savvas) told me that it was a bad idea to plant a tree during the growing season. The last contact I had with them was on 7/10/18 when I called in and spoke with Cindy. She claimed that Mike had been let go (I spoke with him numerous times over the previous two months) and that Chip was on vacation. She told me that they zerod out my remaining balance for the job (I had paid $300 of the $900 total already), but thats not enough compensation for a $1500 fully-bloomed red maple that was providing shade for the front of my house. Cindy was supposed to talk with the office manager, Chip, and Andy and told me that someone would get back to me. Its been well over two months and Ive still not gotten a call.If youre looking to have work done, I encourage you to look elsewhere. Strobert failed to follow simple instructions on a work order, it took them well over a month to grind the stumps and remove the mulch, theyve continually given me the run around, and I have not heard from the owner once during this entire situation. Its sad that Im going to have to take legal action to get this resolved, when all they had to do was call me back and make a better offer than a 10-15 year old replacement tree with a 3-4 caliper to replace a 20-25 year old healthy tree with a 6-7 caliper. At this point Id rather be financially compensated because I dont trust the work they perform and theres no guarantee if they try to plant a tree of comparable size that it will survive.

Service was quick from the call time, to the estimate schedule, and they removed all our trees, stumps, and grindings efficiently that same week!

I asked Strobert to trim back some trees as my neighbor had some work to be done also. On March 28th, they came and did a poor job of trimming my trees, and tore up my yard. Now 10 days later, the lawn still isnt fixed and I have talked to these folks on the phone at least 11 times and not once have they said Im sorry we tore up your yard. Then yesterday, on April 4th, they came to do more work on my neighbors tree stumps, and they used my yard for access, and they doubled the amount of lawn damage. Would not use them again. UPDATE: They came last Saturday and filled in the holes my yard with dirt and seeded it. Now I have to wait a month to get my beautiful lawn back.

They were very thorough from returning calls, setting dates, calling to confirm dates and the guys who showed up to do the work were very nice and cleaned everything up.

I have used Strobert Tree Services, Inc. twice now for my Crabapple Tree. They always call and show up on time. The first time (several years back) was to trim the tree back to a little and John Heyser (Chip) did a great job! This year we really need the tree trimmed back tight because it was growing to close to the house. John came out and did a great job of trimmed it back tight and shaped it to our liking. He also recommended treating the tree with Cambistat to help contain the growth and increase drought resistance. We are very happy with the results so far. I will always use Strobert Tree Services, Inc (arborist) for all of my treatments and trimmings.

Excellent service! The estimate was reasonable and the service was superb.

Paid for climbers with minimal equipment on property to remove logs. Stroberts drives a bucket truck on my lawn leaving me dead grass, compressed tire marks, and tank tread tracks for nearly 2 months. Scheduling was a nightmare and they ended up giving me ~10 hrs. notice they were showing up the next morning after I called to inquire. In the time I waited for Stroberts to finish the job, I decided to remove more trees, got a proposal from someone else, had the trees removed, and paid someone else. Stroberts falls into the same category as Ricks and the like. Service take a major dive after you sign the dotted line and the salesman exits the picture.

Couldnt even bother calling me back even though I left messages with their answering service a few times.

The experience we had with the owner in dealing with a huge mistake and destruction of our property was nothing less than ugly. The company had clearly , through extremely poor judgement, destroyed part of our property and the owner did not feel as if he should have to replace what had been damaged. We have saved the communications back and forth and have shown them to our neighbor, who is in the same field and witnessed the damage. He was appalled and flabbergasted as were the companies that came to give us estimates to repair the damage. Mr. Strobert was rude, dismissive ,and extremely unprofessional. We know we are not alone as our dear friends had to communicate with him directly and were horrified by what was said to them. I am sure that if one never has a problem with the work, they would not have the opportunity to witness such behavior. I have a policy of never naming specific individuals in any review ,as I do not wish to harm anyone directly, but in this case, my goal is to prevent anyone from having to live the same nightmare we did and also to steer business away from companies that lack integrity and professionalism.

I would absolutely not recommend this tree service!!!!!
