Our refinished kitchen counters look like granite! John showed up on time. Did a great job! However... He was also kind enough to spray my wood floors, walls, appliance, tv stand, etc with the over-spray. Took forever for ME to cleanup. He offered to refund $100 for the inconvenience. That of course was 3 months ago. If you use him, pay with credit card so you have some recourse. And be sure to have a signed contract and proof of his business insurance.

We hired Cleveland Refinishing to reglaze/refinish a tub at my home and a home we own as a rental property. While one tub has minor defects and knicks, the other is peeling off in sheets and is growing mold inbetween the old and new finish...suspect it wasn’t cleaned properly. Have reached out to Jonah MANY times...both tubs are under written warranty as they were only done less than 6 months ago. I understand Covid was an issue for his family, but no call, no show, no communication at all is inexcusable. Multiple no show appointments for repair. Researching options now for small claims court, attorney general, etc. Save yourself time and just hire someone else.

Jonah brought our old basement shower back to life! Aside from doing a great job, Jonah is very professional, kind and courteous. It was a pleasure doing business with Cleveland Refinishing!

Quick and affordable bathtub refinishing. He did great work.

The contractor did not clean or sand down the tub. When the paint dried it was small particles and drip spots. I requested that the work be fixed but he never came back to fix it. Bad experience. He was 5 hours late. I texted and called several times and he has not responded to me about the poor quality. He falsified a response in google.

The contractor didn’t properly prep the tub. He did not remove nor sand down the previous coat of glazing that was failing. There are drips and areas of the tub he didn’t get covered with the glazing. When I asked about the areas of concern, he said he couldn’t get the Bondo to stick. I would not recommend this company for anybody interested in having a proper glazing job done.

Read the Better Business Bureau complaints.I had a similar experience with a “bad batch” of product which turned into a complete nightmare. He came back on three occasions to try and fix the issue with the bathtub so I give him credit for trying but he simply never got it right. It was like pulling teeth to get him to show up too (late / no shows). Now, the tub has giant air bubbles and is rippling. It looks awful and will tear easily.I demanded a refund and was promised one but am now getting the run around with that too after weeks of asking and getting nowhere. Tried giving this business the benefit of the doubt and a reasonable amount of time to fix the issue or provide a refund. Unfortunately, after numerous broken promises I finally decided enough was enough and am hiring a different company to refinish the bath tub.Furthermore, I can’t even find “Cleveland Refinishing” as a registered business on the Ohio Secretary of State website. Buyer beware!

Our old steel tub had almost no finish left on it. Now, it looks great. John did a good job and I would recommend him as a alternative to an expensive tub replacement.

After buying an old, vintage clawfoot tub, I hired Cleveland Refinishing to refinish the whole tub as well as the original feet, OMG, Jonah did an amazing job, I couldnt believe it was the same tub! A hundred year old tub will now last another hundred years !

Had this company refinish a tub. Shortly after they performed the work the tub started leaking. We contacted them many times and was given excuse after excuse and delay after delay! Despite the written warranty they failed to show up for every appointment and finally just stopped returning our many calls. Stay away from this company as they perform poor quality work and do not stand behin their work. If I could give them a zero star I would as a one star is over rating them!
