Delivered to wrong door but still got my stuff

Tried to drop off two return packages and told them they are heavy, the staff said it’s ok and It took me a lot of effort to haul the packages to the counter from car. Then they scanned the label and said the packages are over weight limit. Why not tell me I the beginning?
