I had an issue with the buckles of my rollerblades and the owner was very helpful in guiding me to fix this issue. It is a family business place, well stuffed with roller blades, ice skates and related-supplies. Great to support this type of business!

Great experience yesterday at Pecks. I took my wife to get her some ice skates and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They sure seem to have everything one could need for ice skating, rollerblading or hockey. DO NOT BUY SKATES ONLINE. Go to your local shop, like this one, that is family-owned, has been in business for over 50 years, and will help you try on a few pairs and give you good advice. They even sharpened the blades for us and placed them in the skate oven so they can mold to my wifes feet. Who knew a skate oven existed! The gentleman who assisted us was great. This was the perfect skate shopping experience. I had the attention of 2+ employees, tried on two sizes each in three pairs of skates to find the perfect fit, and then they baked my skate for a perfect fit and sharpened them. All included in the same or better price I would have paid online. They were covid safe and had a hockey game on the tv too (they spent an hour with me). I dont have a bad thing to say. Look no further than Pecks.

Hidden gem. Tons of hockey goodies to go through. Picked up some pucks and a stick. Had an out of production tapered abs blade that I didnt think Id see again...can put it on my old tapered shaft that I thought Id have to throw out.

Employees always listen to the the customers, and are super friendly. The poodle that is “big” happens To be “hypoallergenic” so you do not need to worry about allergies. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves great service, and adorable dogs!

This is my new favorite store in all of WESTCHESTER! It’s my sons first year playing hockey and the staff couldn’t be more kind, patient, and knowledgeable! I would highly, highly, recommend Peck’s to the first timer and the “Old Guard” of the sport... I first went in to sharpen my skates and have since bought all my sons equipment there. This place has it all and then some. Their knowledge, and love of hockey 🏒 is unmatched in Westchester.

Not sleek, fancy, or heavily staffed. Came in for some roller blades after being off them for 30 years.The younger sales rep made some errors re product availability and utilization but the queen bee there pulled him out of the fire and helped me get just what i was looking for and at a lower price than expected. If I progress well enough I will go back for more advanced skates. Good shop...stay with the matriarch for advice.

If you have dog allergy, do not go to this store. They have a unleashed big dog that will block already narrow store walkway. It would easily terrorize my son. The owner and employee would not leash the dog even if you ask. This is after you walk unsafe staircase with heavy skates in your arms. It was an unpleasant experience.

Classic pro shop with stuff stacked on the floor and hanging from the rafters. Very friendly service and relaxed vibe of a family-run business. Limited business hours so have to plan around drop-offs and pickups especially during the week. Apply for a card for 10 skate sharpenings for $8 each, transferrable to others as long as they know your name. Tricky to find, access through rear stairwell in parking lot behind the deli.

What a horrific experience! So consider this, local place- great, in city center like white Plains -great, horrific garbage building hard to find, with small space to walk through, and even more horrific customer service. Complete chaos with no one really having an ounce of desire to guide the crowd. I wont go back if I have a choice.
