We have rented and purchased several violins from this store for years for our kid, and got repairs multiple times, every time the service is consistently prompt with detail explanation. Before the purchase, they answered all my questions promptly, giving me all the necessary details about different brands. Their prices were very competitive and negotiable too. Bought a model 101 cello from these guys!! While I had a slight issue with something, they stand behind their customer service and they took care of the issue right away. I highly recommend buying from them!! Also, just a heads up, they previously have been known to not be the greatest when it comes to shipping. However, they have started to use a much better case and if there is any issue, they take care of it right away. Hands down, amazing customer service! thanks guys!!

I bought violin DZ STRAD model 220 from DZ Strad shop. it is a great violin to experience with lots of different style and technique so if you love to play fiddle Irish music or Jazz music it gives you that really clear open string tone. For classical music consider this violin a great jewel with affordable price. The quality is very high. As an adult student living in cayman Island it was a great concerned for shipping but i must say they took care of everything and delivered on time. great service 👏 👍

I was recommended to come here from a friend. I was looking for a new violin bow. I called before I went there to make sure they had carbon fiber bows in stock, as that was what I was looking for.I walked in, greeted with a smile. I told them I had called earlier, and they had remembered. I told them about the bow I was looking for, so we went to try different ones of different weights, prices, hair, etc.They provided feedback on what they heard when I played each bow, they told me their opinions on the sound and comfort I seemed to project.They were very helpful, and they treat their customers in a very friendly manner. I loved coming here, and Ill definitely be coming back!

Buyers beware! As a professional violinist and teacher, I have never experienced a company to be so deceitful. I bought a violin from them for $1800 plus tax and when I brought it home, I discovered the same instrument on Amazon for less than half the amount they sold it to me for. I also found the same instrument on Ebay for $200. When I took a screen shot of my findings, I emailed the picture to the owner and inquired why. Within minutes they changed the listings to items online to reflect the amount the sold it to me for. Fortunately, I was within their 7 day return policy and I got my money back. The majority of their instruments are cheap Chinese instruments that they are selling for 4x or more the amount they are really worth. Yes, the shop is pretty and the young man working the counter is nice, but this store is taking advantage of its community members of Westchester who have money to spend but no knowledge of string instruments. If you need rosin or a set of strings in a pinch, then this store will suffice. If you are looking for anything legit, I advise you to move on!!! I WILL NOT ever recommend this store to any of my students or colleagues.

Love this bow. Very responsive. I do have other bows, some more expensive, some less. However, I love this one. It is the best. It takes two mins walk from Metro North. Its a good place for all new yorkers.
