We had True View do home inspections for us prior to contract, and again prior to closing, for our new home. They were extremely diligent, and incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions, detecting issues and proposing solutions. They were also able to provide referrals to contractors who could do any necessary work. Their fees are reasonable, and well worth every dollar. Highly recommended.

In the process of buying a new apartment. Always a hassle to get everything in order and prepare for the move. Our agent recommended True View for our inspection and it was absolutely a breeze! We called on a Saturday (when our offer was accepted) and True View was on site by noon on Tuesday. We spent about 90 minutes with Steven Salanitro - an absolute PRO! He walked us through everything he was looking for and talked through results in real time. His calm demeanor and clear explanations made it obvious to us that we were in experienced and stable hands. 10 out of 10 would recommend again and again!

We called the True View team to do an inspection on a difficult property (older / multiple acres / had not had power turned on for a few years etc.), and the team was incredibly focused on the big picture issues and did not get hung up on the minor problems that can ordinarily be viewed as deal killers. They were responsive with recommendations for industry professionals to do further analysis and provided a highly detailed report on a fast turnaround. The team had no problem climbing on the roof structures and crawling in the old stone basements to find the actual answers to structure stability and various other current status issues. We would recommend this team to anyone looking to buy a property especially to those people looking at older homes and large properties as well. They have a very solid understanding of real estate in the area and should be your first choice when looking to get legitimate inspection reports.

Were in the process of buying a home and used True View Home Inspections to conduct our home inspection prior to signing contracts. From start to finish, our experience could not have been better! I spoke with Evan on the phone, explaining our situation and quickly booked an appointment--he was very nice and congratulated us on getting our offer accepted, then shared a lot of very useful information about what to expect, what was and wasnt included etc. Although he booked the appointment on the call, he had his assistant follow up with a detailed email and a phone call a few hours later and the day before the inspection--very thorough and super helpful!Day of the inspection, Evan arrived even before we did. He had explained that the inspection would take 2-2.5 hours and we were definitely a little apprehensive about what he would find. But Evan is such a nice, funny, good-natured person--he made us feel very comfortable right from the beginning! He explained everything in laymans terms and for every issue he called out, he gave us his opinion on how soon we might need to take action on it. He was extremely thorough, crawling/climbing into every crawl space. In the end, the inspection did take a little over 2 hours, but they flew by because it was actually really interesting to see and hear what Evan was testing for and what he found.Our inspection was on a Friday before a long weekend, so we werent expecting to see the full report until at least the following Tuesday, however, Evan was super fast and had the report to us by the next day (Saturday). Not surprisingly, the report was thorough but easy to follow and understand.We had a great experience with Evan and True View. Very friendly, accessible, thorough, and affordable. I would highly recommend them for any home inspection needs.

As a first-time home buyer, I didnt know what to expect from an inspection. Based on referrals, I researched four inspection services. After reviewing their website, and speaking with Justin, I decided to go with True View. Im glad I did. Evan conducted our inspection and took the time to answer all of my questions as we went through the interior and exterior of the house. If there was something I didnt understand, Evan took the time to educate me as to the issue, the potential impacts to the house in the near and long-term, as well as potential costs to repair/replace. Its not a scam operation. If you need an inspection in a pinch, they are probably fine, but I would suggest you look elsewhere if you can. Inspection recos included things like test water for lead, which they offer and could have included. Scheduling was difficult. Follow up questions to missing details in the report (which chimney are you talking about) went unanswered for days. Not entirely their fault, but the house went to a faster closer while we we waiting for replies from Victor and this company. Will not use for next inspection.

Evan did the inspection on a home Im looking to buy, and he was really great. It was really easy to schedule quickly, despite every home inspector being super busy around now. His inspection was incredibly thorough and he explained everything that he found in very easy to understand ways. He was happy to have me follow him around the whole time. He also didnt try to up-sell his services. He initially said the roof was quite high and so he couldnt do an in-person inspection, but that the extra-charge drone inspection probably wasnt necessary based on what he could see. Then later, he discovered that one of the balconies gave him access to the roof, so he climbed up and did the free manual inspection anyway (confirming that everything was fine).I also asked a few questions that were outside the scope of the inspection, and while he prefaced his answer by saying it was unofficial, he did take the time to give some pretty good advice and answers to those questions. Lastly, my broker was so impressed, he asked for Evans contact info to refer to the brokers other clients. Im really glad we went with him.

Victor, my inspector, was fantastic. He was at the site early and he inspected the house thoroughly. I also received my home inspection report in less than 48 hours. Evan Weiss is excellent! We initially spoke with Justin who came highly recommended yet Justin’s schedule conflicted so he recommended Evan. Both were a true pleasure to speak with, professional, responsive and patient. Since we worked with Evan, we can specifically vouch for his detailed attention to every aspect of the home that definitely could have been an oversight otherwise. He was so thorough not only with the detailed report but also with the 2 extensive phone calls, post inspection, to walk us through every aspect of the report due to COVID and not be able to be on site. Evan is great and highly recommend him specially as well as True View Inspectors in general.

We were able to schedule a home inspection in Pleasantville on fairly short notice. Evan from True View was there, ready to start, before the scheduled time. He was very thorough and organized during his inspection. He did a great job communicating what he was doing during each step and relaying the condition of every item that he was inspecting. He was very willing to answer any additional questions that we had. There were some major concerns with the house that he identified and would require remediation. I feel confident that if we were to purchase this home, any major issues were uncovered during his inspection. The official report was issued to us the following evening with the exception of the optional radon test which requires a full 48 hours to result. I would highly recommend True View to anyone and would use them again if we needed to evaluate an alternate house. The fee was quite reasonable given the size of the investment in a new home!
