Had a flat tire and needed a mechanic close to metro north in case I needed to leave my car there over night. Made an appointment, came in, and they took my car immediately. After a quick inspection it was determined I had a broken tire valve and it was promptly repaired. They could have convinced me I needed my tire replaced which would mean Id need at least two tires replaced or that I needed my rim replaced and therefore made a lot more money. However, they were honest and when all was said and done it cost me $23. I guarantee if I went to a large change like Sears, I would have been fleeced. I am a big fan of local mechanics and body shops.Small but airy, bright, and clean waiting area that didnt smell like a body shop. I will return if necessary!

I’m from out of town I went to him. he charged me $674 for wheel bearing hub and break pads, I picked my car up when I got on the expressway the car was making the same noise. I took it back the next day he said he had to get me another part that something went wrong with the first part, and he told me that my axle would have to be fixed once I made it back to buffalo, to get home and find out that all he did was jimmy up the car for me to make it back home now I have to pay for the same job twice on top of he over charged me by $360, it’s sad that these car places are still taking advantage of women when we put our trust in them, I will be taking him to court.

I brought my truck in for an oil change, checkup, and tire repair after moving to New York. The tire was too damaged to repair, so he gave me a new tire at cost. At the same time my wife and I went and got the car registered in New York. When I came back Bart said he would take care of the inspection while the tire was finished so we wouldnt need to wait more time. We moved from a state that didnt require front plates so our truck had never had a front plate on it, so I went and got a plate bracket from the Ford dealer and Bart installed it for me without an appointment. When I asked him what I owed, he just shook my hand and said Nothing, youre good. You want a customer for life, because thats how you get a customer for life. To top it all off, all of the work was reasonably priced and done well. We had a family friend doing our auto service before we moved, and were thrilled to find Barts. If youre in Westchester, take your car to Barts for service.

Reasonably priced, and they eventually got the job done. But it took twice as long as they said it would, and I was only there to some new tires.

I got my NYS inspection done in no time.
