TL;DR - My s/o and I spent 13 months at the Metro and enjoyed it thoroughly. Would 100% recommend if youre looking for a high-value, low maintenance apartment complex to temporarily live in.Some highlights:- While apartment size is relevant depending on the area, I thought that these were properly sized, which was especially appreciated during COVID where many of us are working at-home and so it factored heavily into our search.- The staff is extremely friendly. Whether were talking the PM, the doormen/women, leasing, events, or maintenance, you name it and theyre all genuinely nice people.- This is an older building thats recently refurbished. Make no mistake, this is a good thing. No paper thin walls or constantly breaking items like in some of these newer builds.- The rooftop and particularly the outdoor area are 10/10. They often host fun events too. Some considerations:- Great location if you dont have a car. 5 minute walk to the train platform, key if youre a commuter or NYC-lover. 5 minute walk to Starbucks, ShopRite, CVS, restaurants, etc.- Not the cheapest complex in the area, and in general White Plains is more expensive than it should be, but I think you get the best value for your dollar at the Metro.- 2 laundry units per floor, pay via mobile app that has countdown timers and shows availability.- Family friendly, pet friendly, & nice mix of age groups.

The metro is a wonderful place to live. I believe we are the longest residents here at 6 years plus and have loved calling this our home. From the manager, leasing office, to the concierge staff, maintenance and more all are courteous and always willing to help. I recall a couple of times throwing out something of value by mistake and the support I received to retrieve my items really impressed me. This is also a pet friendly building and many of us have dogs and they are treated like the family they are to us. We will leave here when we are ready to purchase our home. Come join us as we are welcoming to all!

My husband and I have lived at The Metro for 2 years now and we absolutely love it! We had lived in the city for a few years before, and moved out so we could have more space and quiet. However, the Metro is still a 2 minute walk to the train station, so we can still be in the city in under an hour! The rooms are nice and clean, the area is relatively quiet, and the employees are all so friendly and helpful! We have a full concierge service, free coffee and lounge area, free business center with Mac desktops and a printer, and a free fitness center! My absolute favorite part of The Metro are all of the social events that are held monthly, coordinated by Tatiana Diaz and her colleagues! Even during the 2020 quarantine situation, we were provided with fun virtual activities like trivia, bingo, wine tasting, cooking classes, yoga, and more - all included in our very reasonable amenity fee! I could not recommend The Metro more for anyone looking in the White Plains area, especially those commuting into the city!

The Metro is a great choice for a moderately priced high end building with many amenities. Recent additions include a courtyard with golf and bbq and a storage room. The staff really stand out. The front desk, managers and maintenance staff are all so overly helpful. They’ve done a wonderful job keeping the building clean and keeping us engaged during the pandemic. There are virtual events for all ages and interests about ten times a month and the extras they give (free meals, gifts, bottles of wine) are on another level.

I never write reviews, but this time it was necessary.I visited a friend of mine who is a resident at this he Metro this past weekend. I am always telling her that she need to move closer to all the action and she says that she loves where she lives and doesn’t want to move. I never understood it until I saw the place. I was shocked when I finally visited her... the building is awesome! The location is so convenient to the train, the staff is friendly and the amenities are great!I would definitely recommend the Metro to anyone looking to move to the White Plains area. I myself would consider looking there when I want to get out of New York City.

I have been living here for 2 years and just renewed for one more year. The building has fair amenities and good maintenance service. I like the fact that is very well located. I also like that this is not one of those big set of buildings with lots of people around going in and out, for me it has the perfect size and volume of tenants. For the price that I pay, this is a fair option in the market. As of today, I would definitely recommend The Metro!

My husband and I met Matt Meyers when we were looking at apartments at The Metro. It was a very positive experience because of Matt’s helpfulness and follow up. In fact we stopped looking elsewhere. Circumstances changed for us, however, so renting was no longer an option. We really appreciated Matt’s help and are confident that everyone else will feel the same way.Joan W

I am currently looking to relocate from another state and I went on a tour of the building. I loved that it was walking distance from the train station and their newly constructed courtyard. The staff and property manager were very courteous and friendly. I’ll be making a decision soon.

Went on a tour earlier with Patricia, absolutely loved the layout and hospitality I received. Great location and amenities, with waking access to anything I could need. Would definitely recommend.

I’m relocating to downtown White Plains in January. I’ve been searching for a new place to call home and , I have taken all the tours of the buildings in the area. I wasn’t comfortable with my move until I came across The Metro. It has a central location , nice grounds , helpful staff and really gave me the feeling that I was in a luxury building .I definitely recommend The Metro to anyone that is looking for a luxury apartment in downtown White Plains .

Lived there 2 years and moved out last month, building location is so prime-close to train station and shopping & restaurants, building facilities are ok. Maintenance staff and concierge are good. Reduced the rating to 3stars because of the smoke/weed that seeps into the apartment, illogical % of raise( much higher than what’s quoted in the website or the market) when I renewed my lease, rental invoices were incorrect many a times and lack of customer-service etiquette/attitude of the property manager.

The entire 5th floor of this place smells like weed EVERY day at 7am and 7pm. I am so sick of this. It seeps into my own apartment. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

We were offered rent renewal 20% above the market (website) price. The elevator isnt fixed for several months already. The construction right outside the window is already taking more than a year.

Absolutely awful. Broke our lease to get out of this terrible place. Didn’t have heat for a month in the winter, monthly bill was always wrong. Management doesn’t care at all.
