Pre-emergent applied with so little coverage now the entire lawn is covered in dandelions. Contacted TruGreen several times to schedule a re-spray. They have already missed the re-spray appointment so another call to support and they supposedly have me on the schedule next week. Regretting the pre-pay if ill have to babysit every application with TruGreenUpdate: 5/11/21 Another canceled appointment by TruGreen #4 now. Did receive a call from the local office with an apology but 20 + days from 1st application and still waiting for re spray and a weed free lawnUpdate: 5/14/21 Received a re-spray and that was still not done correct half the property sprayed with fertilizer and other half only weed prevention. Received a call from TruGreen corporate they are going to get the next service on the schedule and I have be reassured that they will get it right.

This is the second year I have used True green. My lawn is so thick and dandelion free. Last year my backyard was all weeds. Now its all thick grass

I wish I could give zero stars to this service. I called them in March 2021 asking about a possibility to have a spring application against japanese beetles . I talked to a representative a few times but he was not able to answer any questions and promised to connect me with a specialist. It never happened. Suddenly I receive a reminder on September 2, 2021 that I have a service scheduled for this day. I never scheduled a service from them. I do not know if they have what I need because I did not receive an answer to my questions. Any attempts to cancel the service which I never ordered fail: nobody answers the phone, app doesnt work. Stay away from it.

TruGreen is terrible! First of all, in the 2 treatments I was there for nothing, NOTHING, changed at all about my weeds. I cancelled over a month ago and I am still getting serviced. I dont even live there! I had called twice now and chatted in the TruGreen app and I still got serviced AGAIN 2 days ago. What the actual flying fudge TruGreen! Will I have to call every single day to ensure somehow you guys understand I cancelled my service over a month ago?!? I have the proof and Im sick of these charges.I dont think the technicians are entirely bad, but the company is and so are their products. Stay away.

I am on their “program” and most of my yard is weeds. I have called so many times that I am tired of calling. Every time I was told we will take care of it, you will hear from the branch manager. All lies. Horrible service, horrible company to work with.

Just a very unorganized company that hasnt kept anything straight for me. No coordination on when they would show. Explicitly said to fertilize in the spring and they show up in November when theres ice on the ground. Tried chatting online to finally schedule my service come spring time. Rep said that she would put in a request to schedule. By all means, youd think theyd have the ability to schedule online. Havent heard anything for a week. App still showed Service Not Scheduled. So I just did the work myself over a nice weekend and fired them. Also, I tried asking for sound advice and a game plan, but they just put you down for generic fertilizer spray. More than happy to take advantage of your lack of knowledge and take your money without ever getting to understand what you need.

I would not recommend TruGreen. They came out, applied some stuff to my lawn, and burned it up. I called them, showed them pictures of my lawn, and they admitted the lawn care specialist striped my lawn. They also said they would send someone over to amend the soil and reseed the striped areas where they killed the grass. They never showed up. I kept calling them as to when they would fix my lawn, never got an answer and they never showed up. Thankfully, I got my money back. Now, Ill just fix my own lawn. Thanks for nothing TruGreen.Im certain you are sorry and you’ll reach out after reading this review but an apology doesnt fix my lawn after you burned it up. Ack!

Can not reach anyone to help. The average wait time by phone is over an hour every day, any time. Today even chat was too busy to even respond.After 2 weeks, and 3rd complaint (on 2nd complaint they said to wait which I did, but still no improvement), they were scheduled to return today as my lawn is worse than before I hired them. I repented home to a phone message that they were unable to complete my service. No note was left, no flags in the lawn, appears NOTHING was done. Message said I will be contacted. Typically that takes SEVERAL DAYS. I am so frustrated that customer service takes SO long to reach, and then more time to schedule, and I see no improvement after being told to wait for results to be seen.I just want a nice lawn, not one worse than before I hired TruGreen, and someone to take a phone call or email or text, and respond in a reasonably professional amount of time.

Always efficient and helpful. If you are unhappy they will come right back out and respray whatever problem you are having with your yard or trees Free of charge. My grass had mites and they got rid of them in 2 sprays. I Highly recommend TruGreen Lawn Care!

Absolutely horrible. They sprayed for weeds and killed all my plants in the process. Nothing they do has benefited my lawn. They attempted to charge me $1,500 because they claimed my backflow was broken when in reality they never turned off the valves when they did the blowout the year before. They came to aerate my yard multiple times but could never actually do it because they couldnt get the machine up the stairs.Since Covid they dont knock or call beforehand so my dogs have gotten out when they open the back gate.This company is absolutely horrendous & a huge waste of $$$

Update: within a few days, a customer care person called me and satisfactorily rectified my issue. In addition, she took notes regarding the auto call issues and I felt like she took this seriously in order to get it fixed so another customer would not have to go through what I did. Because of this, I will consider using them again.Terrible service at the call center. No one answers the phone. I cancelled the service at the end of last season and I received a call from one of their robots today telling me that someone will arrive tomorrow to do a lawn service. There was no way for me to cancel or change the service (which I had already cancelled months ago, I guess the robot didnt get the message) on the automated call. So I called back the toll free number on google and was told my wait time for an agent to answer me was 1 - 2 hours. I will never use True Green again. Thanks for wasting my time. And dont use covid as an excuse; thats way overused.

First time using Trugreen this year. Very, very, very disappointed. Two no-shows for aeriation/seeding without any word except to later say they couldnt make it. (no kidding, after waiting all afternoon for them) Then they gave me a two week window for the aeration/seed and said they would give me 24 hours notice prior to arriving. Crickets. On-line chat service makes you wait 20+ minutes with a People Ahead of you countdown to get a representative then drops you when its finally your turn. Calling in? Good luck with ever talking to anyone. Suspect its best to cancel at this point. Unfortunately I paid for services in advance so will likely have to wrestle for a refund.

Weirdest review ever? I have been contacting this company for almost 2 years, trying to get them to stop applying fertilizer to my lawn. The person they contracted with hasnt lived here in almost 10 years. (the previous owners father) I already have a lawn service, and doubly applying fertilizer can damage the sod. Numerous customer service reps have said that I will be taken off the list, and yet they came again today. How poorly run is this company that I have to keep begging them to stop entering my backyard without permission and applying chemicals to my lawn that I never asked for, am not paying for, and dont want? Its crazy.

We paid in full for TruGreen to treat our lawn and mitigate the weeds in our rocks and mulch, nearly $1k. We were told we would have service within one week of signing up. It’s been nearly two months and we still haven’t received the full services that we paid for after multiple phone calls and messages. The sales rep, Katie, that sold us the package will not respond to my texts or calls either.A tech showed up two and a half weeks after signing up and did not complete the weed mitigation in the rocks/mulch after this service was emphasized as our main focus. Finally had a tech come out again solely to treat the rocks/mulch and they still did not do it. I’ve tried to cancel and requested a full refund, but I cannot get ahold of anyone that can help me.

Avoid at all costs. Weve been using TruGreen since 2003, the service used to be good but now its nothing short of abysmal. Numerous missed appointments that still havent been completed, extremely poor support over phone and live chat, and the branch manager is extremely argumentative and lies. Dirty business, dirty staff, overpriced waste of money. Look elsewhere.

I am adding to my previous review. I received a call the next day following my review, promising to send someone out on June 24th to spray for weeds. After waiting all morning, at 1:30 p.m. I finally received a robo-call from Trugreen telling me that they couldnt spray my weeds on the 24th because road conditions prevented them from accessing my property.....huh?? Havent heard a word from them since.Following is my initial review: I have used Trugreen for years. In the past they have been responsive, timely, and have left me with a green, WEED FREE lawn. This year I cannot get a response from them, their phone service is overseas, and I cannot talk to anyone locally. My weeds are up to my knees and are flowering, which means even more weeds next year. My husband wants me to change to another land care company and I am on the verge of granting him his wish. I have never had such poor service from Trugreen before!

Our lawn and trees are lush and green and the pest control is second to none. All these services have made a huge difference especially with the tarry soil in our area. Since TruGreen our problems are in the past, and no more bugs in our home!

I have tried to call the Business about how long can my kids/pets should stay off the grass in my HOA after pesticides are sprayed, but they refused to answer any phone calls! If you care about your kids and your pets and your loved ones find somebody else that is responsible with their pesticides safety procedures

Ive used Trugreen for many years and, while a tough pricey, they provide good service. All team members who conduct the variety of services are professional, engaging and proficient in their duties.

Poor customer service. Spent hours trying to get scheduled No luck. Easy to talk to a live person if ordering but not when you want to schedule. Frustrating and dissatisfied. Not a good way to conduct business.

Miles showed up today and did a thorough job of treating my trees. He was professional and kind and actually interested in how I thought things were going here. Previous techs were impersonal and couldn’t be bothered to have a conversation whether that was a mandate from corporate or not I do not know. At any rate Miles set the standard, I am extremely grateful for the change. Thank you Scott for making sure my tree service and my lawn services were finally completed for the year.

Professional and efficient. The one time I had an issue with a technicians service, the follow up was great (email and a reservice check in). I would rate 5 stars if not for the ultra annoying update calls for additional service add-ons.

Their basic service is fine. But I just cant stand the additional sales calls to pump up their bottom line. Come spring, Ill be finding an independent company and dropping them.

So just got to spend 3 hours looking for my dog that was let out by this company because the tech did not shut the gate. Was lucky enough to have someone let him into theyre backyard and call me instead of having to pay the animal shelter to get him out. Great job guys.

Tech sprayed only 60-70% of my lawn, verified on my security camera. They reported a visit but NO TECH came to my home. Thats when I started watching the camera. I quit service and they started to harass me, calling every other day, asking Why I quit tech was one of their best. They have harassed me since this review. I am having some issues with my lawn, It appears that I have Dollar Spot. This is a fugues. I have tried several remedies, none appear to be working. With that in mind I reached out to TruGreen, I called their 844 number and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Greg. Note: They indicate the calls are recorded for training purposes, Greg could use some training. His recommendation was to put large amounts of fertilizer on the Lawn especially nitrogen. Nitrogen,Phosphate nor Potassium the three main ingredients in fertilizer do not Kill Fungi. Fungi is killed using a fungicide. Not fertilizer. Based on this conversation I would be very hesitant in using their services, their knowledge on lawn care is at best limited in my opinion.

Last service they performed was eight weeks ago. I have been calling for three weeks to get my next service scheduled - no luck. Keep being told the can’t give a date. I will be asking for a refund and switch to another company.

The service was affordable, and our lawn, since we have owned the home, has never looked better!

My dog will most likely need to be put down tomorrow form their products. I am devastated. They put weed killer and the preamerge on the grass they told us the after 24 hours our dogs where fine to go one the grass. A few days later we let the dogs out and our senior dog Bean came inside after laying in the grass for an hour with the worst chemicals burns I’ve ever seen on a dog. After ten days of antibiotics and many vet visits with the suggestion of our vet we are going to see a specialist who will make the final call. I called TruGreen and was told there is nothing to be done except note our account. It’s not my account it’s my boyfriends and when I said that the lady giggled. I’m trying to tell this woman what happened to my dog so that they can warn other owners that way no one has to go through this and all they said is without an account they won’t note it and there’s nothing they can do. Thanks TruGreen. My four legged baby has suffered and it’s because of some poor instructions. Give people warnings that are accurate and when someone reaches out to you upset about their dog dying don’t teach your customer service people to laugh.

For two years they’ve been spraying my neighbors lawn which comes over into my yard. They spray our grill my sons toys (who is a severe asthmatic child who’s on steroids) and they have yet to respond about this problem. I have complained many times and even have video of them spraying the poison into our yard. Very careless company and very poor response when I call and confront them. I don’t know what else needs to be done maybe the next step is seeking legal help. Very disrespectful people when calling to address the problem.

I used Trugreen to help with weed control and lawn pests but after a few services I have the worst lawn I’ve had in 20 years. So I called and canceled my service. After I thought I canceled my service they continued to send somebody over to spray my lawn and whoever was doing the spraying had no respect for my garden, ripping off branches on my tomato and pepper plants I’ve been growing since the beginning of the year, all just being careless with the hose. Not only was my service supposed to be canceled but the person doing the service damaged my garden I’ve been working so hard on. I wouldn’t recommend Trugreen to anyone.

Very dissatisfied with TruGreen. I needed a new pressure regulator for my sprinkler system and was quoted over $1100 for this to be installed. Went to lowes and found this expensive and hard to find part they claimed was out and impossible to get for $120. Figured out how to install it myself in 30 minutes. What a ripoff. I recommend not using this company.

We have used Trugreen services for years to help keep our lawn, shrubs, and trees healthy.

My wife called trugreen last spring to reseed some areas in our yard that had become mud pits. They informed us that the best time to seed was in the fall, and sold us a $600 plan for the whole year. They didnt even come and seed in the fall, which was the only reason we even called them. I could have re-sodded the whole yard myself for $600.Giving 2 stars because the product they used did seem to help the existing grass to grow and become vibrant green. But its not why we callled. I feel taken advantage of. Another spring of muddy dogs.

Not only did the young man that they sent out do a professional job in the most courteous way possible, they DO stand behind their work. I had to call them out for a second time two weeks after the first treatment, and no questions asked, they came out again. Also price wise, they are the best price in town( I had called two other companies originally to compare costs).

I have been with TruGreen for over 20 years. That alone should tell you how pleased I am with this company and their services. My lawn always looks great and very healthy. The specialists are always friendly and answer any questions I may have. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I dont like that this company sprays pesticides. They say theyapply pesticides. This company is directly responsible for the deaths of millions of bees in Boulder County. They spray pesticides all over our property when our kids are all home from school due to COVID-19 and have no where else to go 😭? NOW OUR KIDSCANT EVEN GO OUTSIDE WITHOUT TOXIC PESTICIDES EVERYWHERE. I really and devoutly believe everyone associated with working forthis company needs to reevaluate their priorities until they stop poisoning us all

Ive tried using this company more than once, with similar poor results. They do not do what you ask them to do-- I tried cancelling services, but people still show up an-announced to do sprays. I also specifically requested to ALWAYS get a call in advance, and that did not happen. TrueGreen pretty much insists on doing treatment programs which I feel entail MORE than you need--overkill-- usually at least 4 or more treatments during a year (we were charged $60 per treatment under the program or a minimum of 4). My feeling is that when it comes to chemicals in the environment, they should be only used when absolutely necessary, a method of last resort.

It’s my first year in my first home, and I am excited to turn on my sprinklers. I had contacted this company and set up a first appointment for Monday, prepaying $90 in good faith. I waited around for hours for someone to call or show up, but no one ever came. The following day I reached out to see what happened, and was informed I had actually been scheduled for Tuesday-Thursday morning, and not Monday. Not the end of the world, but an inconvenience that I couldn’t pick a set day. Tuesday goes by and no call, Wednesday rolls around and I don’t hear anything, figuring Thursday must be the day. I called Thursday morning to make sure someone would be out, and was informed I wasn’t scheduled AT ALL, and the earliest they could come was the following Monday. I didn’t trust the company at that point, so I cancelled my service and requested a refund. I should have trusted my instinct to hire a local, small business, but was eager to have my system running and was thrilled at how quickly I could be scheduled by Trugreen. How could a company charge you for a service they haven’t scheduled? This was not what I was expecting from such a well known organization.

It is our first experience with TrueGreen and an early stage for our lawn. However, the technician has been friendly and knowledgeable of the process to help our lawn become greener. So far the results are positive and we look forward to additional visits to our lawn care. Thank you!Danny

Absolutely disorganized and unprofessional company. They called me on Monday and they confirmed they would come and do my sprinkler blowout for winter yesterday or today. They even took my credit card information over the phone as a confirmation. No word from them. When I emailed this morning to confirm for today they said they had me scheduled for the two weeks from now. We already had our first snow yesterday so that is really not helpful. Clearly super disorganized and not professional.

I was scheduled and the technician did not show. I called and we rescheduled 4 days later. We love our technician. He is so knowledgeable and takes time to explain things to us. He knew our lawn would be a challenge but we are very pleased with the results and so is he. Much more satisfied than last year!

I have had a great experience with them. In a matter of weeks they turned my lawn around and it continues to improve. They leave detailed notes on what they did and what I should contribute to do in order to keep things up. They even sometimes leave dog treats for my dog who I’m sure is barking at them while they get the job done. The app makes scheduling, payment, and summary reports a breeze.

I had an appointment set up for July 5th. Received conformation call about this. No one called the day before to confirm a time window. Come to find out that I was never actually booked for an appointment, and it would have been impossible for someone to come out in less than 7 days out. Especially disappointing when you cancel plans to be around for an appointment that wont ever happen.

Great service and they do a great job with our lawn as well as our shrubs. They will come back if I see weeds or other problems. They also explain what they are going to do. Great company.. Great Company..

TruGreen sucks. I came out of my house to witness TruGreen spraying my front yard. Having to walk through the grass to ask the tech what he was doing?! I am NOT a TruGreen customer and he said “it’s just fertilizer” and didn’t even leave a flag. The tech was not apologetic at all. He just got in his truck and drove to the next victims house. This is an unethical company. Do NOT use them and their company.

If I could give no stars, I would. I hired Tru Green to stay weeds, fertilize and do mosquito control. When the kids, and I mean kids, came to do the mosquito spray, they left my gates open and my dogs got out. I called as soon as I discovered it. Luckily the dogs were picked up and taken to a shelter. It cost me $130 to get them out. The 800 number put me in touch with the tech who denied leaving the gates open. The problem is, we dont use those gates---ever! He finally said he would have his manager give me a call to get the money refunded for the cost of the shelter. Of course the manager never called. I called repeatedly and left messages, to no avail. I finally called the tech back and he assured me his manager would call. The manager called the next day and said he would refund the $130 and that days spray in the amount of $39.95. Ten days later it finally shows up in my account in the amount of $121.52. Not the $169.95 they should have refunded. I had also called earlier to tell them to send somebody out to re-spray because nothing had changed--yard still full of thriving green weeds, grass not greener. I understand it can take a few times, but I should have seen some weeds dying--but not-a-one. So I called and told them that I wanted to cancel my service and I wanted a full refund of the $912.76 I had paid them and that Id accept $121.52 they had refunded as payment for the shelter. They went on to all me that they would only refund a portion of it and take another 7% for canceling my service. I asked to speak to a manager. Of course they are not available but they could leave a message and have one call me back in a few days. Seems I had heard that repeatedly when I was trying together my money back for my dogs. Long story short, I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company. DO NOT USE TRU GREEN!!!

Tried getting a quote for some services and had told the girl to call me back the following day after 5 pm since I was at work and it would give my husband time to review the information. Not only did they NOT LISTEN!!!! But kept calling me WITHOUT LEAVING A MESSAGE! If your gonna call people leave them a damn message. I am not gonna pick up my phone if I dont recognize the number, and Im sure as hell not gonna give the number a call back if I dont know who it is. Now because they made me so angry I went with a service that came out, quoted me for FREE, then proceeded to make sure to come out today to take care of my request rather then waiting 5-7 business days. And not that long ago I just received another call and NO MESSAGE! Are yall unable to leave a simple damn message??? Are your mouths broken?? Or is harassing your potential customers the only thing you know how to do? Any service I may have been considering, I will be looking else where now.

So far so good. I was a Scotts customer and was concerned about the merge with TruGreen. I had TruGreen in the past and wasnt that happy with how my lawn looked. I am willing to give them ANOTHER try and I am anxious to see how my lawn looks this Spring and Summer.

Find another lawn care service. For a company with the word Green in their name, they are anything but green to the environment. The tech that does the Golden area leaves his truck idling the entire time, whether its needed or not. Today he sat in the cab with the engine running for 40 minutes during a rain shower. Truly not green. One star because I couldnt rate them lower.

TruGreen is unable to follow instructions and/or manage any deviation in their canned approach. I requested lawn service without herbicide application and it is continually applied, despite the fact that at set-up of contract I instructed I do not want this, despite calling when seeing that herbicides are being applied (only to be flippantly told it wasnt applied despite the service ticket showing so), only to have it applied the following month. This is pared with no new seeding of grass to cover the bare patches. So essentially I am just getting fertilization, weed control I dont want, and no new grass filling in the bare areas. Not recommended!

Really neat how they keep you posted with alerts in their App and the care and concerns for closing gates for pets.

My experience with TruGreen has been wonderful every person that comes here has been very professional and kind and if you had any questions they always answer you Ive had TruGreenfor several years now. My grass looks great in my trees and bushes all great.

I struggled with caring for my lawn, trees, and shrubs after moving into my new house. I also struggled with keeping weeds out of landscaped areas. After just one season with TruGreen, the yard has never looked better. The technicians were always on time, courteous, and usually had some good tips for me.

Horrible Customer Service!!!! Horrible Product!!!! Dont pay in advance!!! Once they have your money they dont care about you!!!This is what I mean about bad Customer Service. I just commented on how bad it is and you want me to reach back to them via email! I sure there are not many customer names that match mine with a bunch of notes on the account.

I dont like tur green because they call to let you know when they are coming thats fine but what I dont like is when if you are not home they think they can just walk in your back yard to look for you that is not okay with me .the only place they are going to be is in the front yard to do the lawn care and thats it . They came to spray the trees and stuff but I didnt know they were here my dog didnt even borked or nothing. They are sneak people.

If you want poor customer service, a yard that looks worse than what you had before you paid them hire this company. The customer service manager will look you in the eye and lie and treat you like crap. As someone who has used them for six years take my advice and take your business elsewhere.

I thought I was going to be a lifelong customer, NOT ANYMORE!! I hired them to locate our sprinkler heads and service our sprinkler system before we sold our house. They came out, I paid them in full, and they left. After we closed on our house, we were contacted by the new homeowner and apparently, there were at least two sprinkler heads TruGreen missed that were buried. The heads caused flooding and I contacted TruGreen to ask them to go back and verify that no other heads were buried. They would not go back without charging me $89.00 first!! I spoke with three different people including a manager and they all stated they do not guarantee their service!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!

These people are using questionable if not extremely dishonest business practices! My husband called to get the sprinklers blown out and they briefly discussed the possibility of having the lawn treated in the future but my husband was adamant that he didnt want any herbicides in the yard because we are going to turn part of it into a vegetable garden. He NEVER actually ordered or scheduled a treatment but they showed up today and put dicamba on my lawn and left a bill. They were still going to make us pay for it until I told them multiple times that I was not going to pay for something I didnt order. The man I spoke to gave me a lecture about me not being professional too!

I dont know how many times i have to call for my mothers grass because they are not even killing the weeds. They are just getting bigger and bigger.. I even had to call many times to make sure they did my backyard because they kept skipping backyard when dogs were locked up inside and the gate was open for them..

I at this time (well into my second year with Trugreen ) am satisfied and pleased with the maintenance of my lawn. The man who does the diagnosing and the care of my lawn needs, is intelligent ,professional. friendly,and efficient.

Guys were really nice but their product did nothing but kill my lawn. Very disappointed.

Very informative on first contact, then you say you’ll call them in 6 months (spring) and they sick salesmen on you, calling 5 x week and as late as 9pm.

The TruGreen service people are friendly, informative and respectful of the security of our family pets. They are always sure to close the gates to prevent the loss of our pets.

If I could give them zero stars I would. One of the worst run companies Ive ever dealt with. Terrible service, terrible billing issues, constant problems. HORRIBLE COMPANY

Edited review for TruGreens commitment to make it right. Lawn took about a year to come back but they got it back to normal and didnt charge me.

Not happy. I am an existing customer. Ive called twice to have my sprinklers turned on. No reply. Called a third time and was told it would be scheduled for next week but no date guarantee. Vague answer. Canned customer service responses.

Hire literate employees. No Soliciting means keep your garbage off my door.Also Chris C is an idiot that cant tell garden beds from lawn.

My lawn looks so much better since I have re-hired TRU GREEN to take care of it, and I dont have to worry about the lawn not getting what it needs because I am on a strict budget and I did not have them for awhile and thought I would try to do it myself, but that did not work. TRU GREENS care really does show in the appearance of my lawn and trees. Scheduling is very easy because they call and let me know when they are coming and I do not have to be home when they come. The specialist always leaves me a note letting me know what was done etc. I work closely with them on budgeting and billing of same and they are always very kind and helpful. When I am here to talk to the specialist that comes, they are always very helpful and informative about telling me how my lawn is doing and what it may need.

I really dont know how this company has more than 4 stars. Our technician called us 3 hours into our appointment window to reschedule our first appointment after my husband took the morning off work. We were understanding and rescheduled the appointment. Now, for our second appointment, the tech is late and has not bothered to call us after I had to take the morning off of work. Meanwhile, my grass is turning yellow and my sprinklers havent been turned on. I am so very disappointed in their disregard for their customers schedules. When I called the 877 number, I politely expressed to the CSA on the phone that my husband and I had tight schedules and that we werent too happy with the services we were receiving so far and we didnt even get an apology.

Service has been good people doing service been very friendly. Just started already seeing improvements in my yard.

I bought tru green in hopes of getting the weeds under control. First application was made zero change call tru green to advise they stated they didn’t treat for weeds because it was too hot. I advised on my note left on door it said they did. They convinced me to do the next application I agreed. They cancelled due to road closures (4 sign detour and your around. Wanted my money back since what was said was done wasn’t no call back from this areas management like promised. This company is a scam

I just got a call from someone at TruGreen asking me yet again if I wanted to use their services when Ive already made it clear on the many, many follow up sales calls Ive received that I am not interested. I am polite and civil and answer all their questions because this a business, I get it. However, when I finally, politely, told this gentleman I simply was not interested, he hung up on me. I dont appreciate being woken up with a sales call only to be hung up on and treated so rudely. Im sure TrueGreen does great work but so far, their business practices have turned me off. Learn how to take no for an answer and take my name and number off of your records.

Youll get some of the best care for your yard money can buy. The prices are fair for most services, as long as you know what youre paying for.

I prepaid for service at the end of May/beginning of June, and no one came to my house until August. I had just moved and the lawn was beautiful at that time. The previous owners had not dewinterized the sprinklers, so I called Trugreen to start the process back up for the summer. I called over and over during those months to see what the hold up was and received no clear answer and the run-around every time. I was promised they would figure it out and they would call back first thing in the morning after speaking to superiors, and I never received any follow-up calls. When they did reschedule my service, no one would come the day of, and I would end up waiting for the service team all day. I tried to manually water our yard, but sunny, dry Denver won and some of our grass died (it was past dormant). Also, during this time, no one would give me the local branch telephone number to directly speak to someone in my area. I finally went to their physical office (which they mentioned it was not meant for customers to come to, but I was at the end of my rope). I spoke to their manager, George, and he promised to come out with a lawn care specialist. They did, and we discovered we needed to reseed come fall, which George said he would cover for their mistakes, and replace a sprinkler head. The specialist with them was very nice and amenable, for the record. However, after charging me to replace the head, they simply put the old one back on, and my sprinklers never started working. I dont know if they turned off the system because of the faulty sprinkler head. Of course, calling Trugreens main line led me nowhere, and they, once again, refused to give out the local number, even after I told them the events of the past several months and how I needed to get in contact with the manager. George did leave a business card, but I have had painters doing all of the interior walls of my house, and I have since misplaced it. It should not feel like moving mountains to get the number again. I have also not heard back from George about the reseed he promised.

I am constantly complimented on the quality of my lawn from friends, neighbors, and even passers-by. All technicians have been very friendly and helpful when I have questions, and of course from the results appear to be doing their job very well.

Had no notice they were coming. Sprayed chemicals right over my dog’s toys. They don’t remove anything from the yard. That’s no good at all.
