We came in with a cargo van made for towing. Not a “mini van”. The owner was short and not helpful in our situation where we needed a trailer. I was not satisfied with the manners of the company as well as the “best possible service” was just saying no rather than offering any options on what we could do in our situation. He was rude and not helpful. I would definitely take your business elsewhere. It’s not worth the attitude.

Ive rented all sorts of equipment from A & J - horse trailers, flatbeds, skids, aerators, etc. The equipment has always been clean, ready to go, and quick to pick-up/drop-off. Im always pretty careful with their equipment, but the inevitable finally happened and I screwed up. I punctured a tire on on their flatbed with my tractor spears. I was braced for an exorbitant repair bill but was pleasantly surprised upon my return. The bill for replacement (sidewall damage) was very close to what I would have paid to replace a tire on my own trailer. I felt it was fair and they have earned my continued business.

Needed propane for my RV and they had me in and out in less than 10 minutes. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

Staff was friendly when they made the sale, pick up and drop off was seamless. Only problem I have is they told me to have it back by 5:30 the next day for 1 day rental. I delivered it at 3:30ish, but apparently because I checked it out 12:30 I needed to have it back by then and not 5:30 which I was told, so I was charged for another day.When I asked why I was told 5:30, I was answered with 1 day is 24 hours....Gee thanks, I had no idea 1 day was 24 hours..Moral of the story, dont expect them to hold themselves accountable to the mistakes they make. Just know its a strict 24 hours not matter what they say.Not the end of the world, but when your people say something, they should probably be held to their word. I would have easily returned the trailer in 24 hours or less had that been what was communicated to me. I guess the customer deserves to pay for THEIR miscommunication, since by 5:30 means it will be late and you will be charged an extra $100

On short notice, we rented a 5x8 trailer with 3 full sides from A&J Rentals and everything went well. They helped to hook up the trailer to my pickup truck, and then gave me a few pointers as Id never towed a trailer before. I returned the trailer off-hours on a Sunday and held on to the tow bar, and when I went to return the bar Monday morning they came outside to greet me. The customer service was excellent and the rented trailer was priced right and operated with no issues, so 5 stars all around. Helpful tip: Make sure you have a class 3 or greater tow hitch assembly (rated for 5,000+ pounds), as this is required to tow a trailer from them due to their insurance company policies.

Horrible customer service. I’ve been renting from this company for MONTHS, I went in last week to get a 7x20 flat trailer, they RECOMMENDED me going with a smaller trailer. I agreed, later driving down I-70 my truck almost flipped because the trailer they gave me had a bent axel. The trailer then slipped off the ball and hit the back of my truck. Mind you, I am 15 year in the construction business and strap trailers of all sizes to my truck. instead of being apologetic, and offering good customer service, they have now “cut ties” with me and will no longer rent to me because THEIR equipment is sub par at best. Be mindful if you are renting from this company. Zero customer service. Will NEVER do business here again.

Dont rent a trailer if you want to get a ticket for not having any trailer lights. Or being charged for fixing something that they should have paid to fix.

I love renting from this company. They have all types of trailers and heavy equipment that is in great condition. The prices are very reasonable and the people are very helpful. I highly recommend A and J for all of your trailer and heavy equipment needs.I rented a mini excavator a few weeks ago that has a narrow track that allowed me to get it through my 40 inch opening in the fence to dig out a sewer line. It was the first time I ever used an excavator so they gave me a lesson on how to use it and how to load it on the trailer I rented to get it to my house. Thanks Walt for all of your help!

I rented a box trailer and while the employee was hooking it up to my truck,I noticed one of the tires was low. I mentioned it to the employee and he not only checked the air In all the tires on the trailer but also all the air pressure in my tires on the truck. The employee also checked all the lights and noticed my fuse was blown on my truck and replaced it at no additional charge. The safety standard check was much appreciated and he saved me a possible ticket. They went above and beyond, and I have been back since and received the same great service. Ive been to other rental places and will go out my way to get what I need at a&j time rentals.

Great help there and great tools. The guys are really helpful and the prices are vary far. Better then home depot. Plus I support the non branch and chain companies.

Customer service and customer satisfaction skills are lacking. The gentleman with the jungle Jim hat and beard spoke condescendingly to me and seemed annoyed by my presence from the time I walked in the door, then made an egregious error on paperwork that cost me money. Another gentleman would not hear me out despite my eloquent approach and talked down to me as well, probably where jungle Jim learned his skills from. Ill be renting elsewhere where customers and their loyalty are appreciated. Also, the equipment I rented was not in full working order, not a big deal by itself but definitely not good when combined with the bad attitudes I experienced. Lastly, proof read and triple check that every letter on all of your paperwork is in order before you sign anything because they will hose you.

We stop in for propane almost once a month and their staff is always quick to meet us outside and get our tanks filled and back on the road. Great business!!

7-27-2019 2:30pm pulled in to there property there is no parking available for my truck and trailer im at 60 feet. So I pulled in to the yard a yard worker completely freaked out, I told him I need to rent a auger atachment for my skidd he said I need to park out there, in thinking to my self this it where we have parked and loaded before with no problem...there is no area for me to fit out front..Avoiding any futher confrontation with this person, I said fine Ill take my business elsewhere, this dude was completely off his rocker.Later A&J my money is always welcome at other rental yards.

This place is great ...They are very knowledgeable and have speedy customer service...impressive how fast they load you up and get you headed back to the job.

The saying you get what you pay for definitely applies to rental companies and going to A&J is definitely worth spending a little extra for their equipment.

After renting several things from them we were told by Walt that our hitch was not a factory hitch and could not let us rent a chipper. This was after renting from them for months. First is there is no such thing as a factory hitch in commercial flat bed work trucks all flat beds are built by bed companies. So that means no company that drives commercial trucks can rent then? The Walt claimed he had told us this when we had three of my employees in the parking lot, wich is also weird because we dont even have three guys on staff. He was asked again about the hitch by my foreman and he decide to scream in his own parking lot in front the world at them. I will never give this guy money ever again, Larry and the other guys are great but Walt is rude, lies and is emotionally unstable.

Very rude and condescending. They also dont tell you everything upfront like that they will be charging your card DOUBLE the price and when you return it you will get half back, but it will take days to get it back. They also dont tell you that they require a higher tow capacity then you actually need until you show up. So even when you reserve something a week ahead of time they will not tell you any of this, somehow you are supposed to magically know it. They are also anal retentive about having everything cleaner when you bring it back then when you got it. If it isnt clean enough for them they will charge a $60 cleaning fee which they dont tell you until you bring it back.

Wont rent to people with Jeep Wranglers with a soft top. It wouldnt be a problem if I my hard top was on (The hard top that is a big piece of plastic, because plastic makes a difference in performance and safety).
