We had a gas fireplace installed through Chimney Sweeps, and the process was very smooth. They were very helpful when working with us to find the fireplace that best fit our space, and when it came to installation, Pat was awesome. He is very thorough and precise, building out the frame to the exact dimensions I provided based on our design. One of the logs arrived broken from shipping, but Kevin came out the next week and quickly replaced it for us.They also coordinated the gas line extension as well as the electrician to run power to, and above, the fireplace, making the process much easier on our end.I finished the design with brick vaneers, but they will also recommend finishers if needed.

We called several places for estimates and Chimney Sweeps of America provided a very competitive estimate. They also provided a free on site inspection before providing the estimate. They showed us pictures of what to expect as a final result. They communicated very well about appointments and were able to schedule our work quickly.Grant and his team were very nice and professional, arrived on time, and called 20 min before arrival. The worker was obviously irritated that I asked him to wear a mask (this was in mid-2020 when the pandemic was raging, and my husband was just released from hospital/major cancer surgery). Actual chimney sweeping was fine. But he also cleaned gutters and left a huge mess that dried to my stucco like glue and took me more than two hours to clean up. He seemed very pixxed off the entire time he was here.

They were able to remove and replace our old wood burning fireplace with a new gas fireplace!From the removal of the fireplace to the installation of the new fireplace, it went as smooth as possible. They actually left our house cleaner than when they got there! Called them out to do what everyone thought would be a quick removal of our cast iron wood burning fireplace insert but it was quickly realized this would be no easy task. Have had our gas fireplace for 23 years and hardly used it. So much carbon build up it was horrible and afraid to use it. I only wanted it cleaned and gas turned off. I called one of the licensed dealers for the gas fireplace in the house I had just bought. (The pilot light wouldnt relight and I didnt feel like blowing myself up trying to fix it.) That dealer referred me to Chimney Sweeps of America. I had to make an appointment a couple months out, but, when Mark got here, it was worth it. Turns out a moth had gotten into the gas tube feeding the pilot light and died there, blocking the gas. Since the fireplace is as old as the house, I went ahead and opted for a cleaning as well. Mark fixed everything, cleaned everything, and explained everything. He protected our carpet by putting down a moving blanket in his work space. He wore his face mask correctly the entire time. The fireplace looks brand new. Mark checked for gas leaks. I have useful maintenance information going forward. This is the 3rd company we called to repair our gas fireplace. The first 2 companies recommended and completed several repairs that did not fix the problem. This company was able to figure out the actual problem after completing a thorough inspection. They followed up several times to ensure the issue was completely resolved. It took some fine tuning and each time we called, they came out to our house that same day or the next morning and did not charge for the follow up visits. I wish I had called this company first, it wouldve saved us a lot of time and money. I would highly recommend this company if youre gas fireplace isnt working and you cant figure out why. Ours was a pretty complex electrical issue that involved improper installation and wiring. Once it started working again, they had to make a couple adjustments over the course of a few visits. Now it works great. The first 2 companies that looked at it completely missed these issues.

This was the most expensive home projects weve ever done so I had lots of questions and concerns and the entire team at CSofA was amazing. We hired Chimneysweeps of America to clean and inspect our fireplace. (Weve used them in past years and theyve always done a great job.) They found some items that would now need expensive repair if we decided to keep burning wood in the fireplace, and they mentioned that a gas insert might be more cost-effective. We asked them to submit a proposal and they did: it was clear, complete, and understandable. They arranged for all necessary tasks: routing a new gas line, electrical, and installation of the insert. We worked with their design team to come up with an insert that honors the spirit of our huge, impressive fireplace while providing an efficient, easy-to-use gas insert. The new fireplace looks great, and the insert is wonderful: it has so many super features that we use a lot. Throughout the whole process, Chimneysweeps of America was low-pressure, clear, timely, polite and extremely professional. Their representative, Mark Roberts, was outstanding. We might have been able to save some money by parceling out tasks ourselves, but the peace of mind of having one, extremely reliable contractor responsible for the entire project is well worth it. Not only that they had just done the job for some little old lady and ripped her off too. I found a local guys..price $150 with caulking. Stay away from this company

Not only did they figure out out the problem, but I learned a lot about fireplaces as we chatted throughout the time the fireplace was being serviced.

Honesty I couldn’t be happier with the service that Nate and Kevin provided. They were prompt, super personable and professional. They laid out what they saw and kept me updated along the way. They were super communicative and definitely not “pushy salesmen.” They also let me know the issues that they saw and what they recommended fixing, but again there was zero pressure to do it right this moment. They emailed me the quote and then said they would follow up. I will absolutely be calling them about some of the work they recommended and I will make sure to ask for the same crew if possible.

I am beyond pleased with the service I received from Chimney Sweeps of America. Mark was timely (even a little early), professional and friendly. My fireplace had not really been used in a number of years, was pretty dirty and the glass was super fogged up so that you could hardly see into the unit. When he was done with his cleaning it looked basically like new! He showed me how to use and disassemble/reassemble my unit if needed, recommended cleaning products and made himself available for questions after our appointment if needed. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to others.

Chimney Sweeps procured and installed a wood burning stove for me. The stove head a few issues that needed to be fixed and they made the whole process so easy for me. I had a small chimney fire that damaged my chimney liner. Mark and the rest of the team with Chimney Sweeps did a fantastic job helping me work through an insurance claim and then replacing my liner and installing a wood insert in my fireplace. After the installation was complete Mark spent about 2 hours with me getting the first fire set up and showing me everything there is to know about my new insert and how to properly and safely operate it. The only complaint that I have is that I had to wait 6 weeks to get the insert installed based on their workload. Small wait aside, I would recommend this company to everyone I know that has anything from a yearly inspection/cleaning, to a full chimney re-line. Great people, and great company!

Gavin Lemley was my technician today and boy am I glad to have called this company over the others advertised on Google! All of the certifications these techs go through ensure a thorough inspection throughout. He was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful breaking everything down into layman’s terms. After the inspection he was able to determine it was actually unsafe to be lighting a fire in the fireplace based on the current conditions. He was patient enough to show me the areas that were damaged and what could happen with further fireplace use. He recommended repairs and was honest with the costs. Come to find out, not many other chimney cleaning companies are certified in the courses these techs go through, so I could have ended up with a clean chimney through another company but continued to have the increased risk for a house fire, further damage to the surrounding house structure and back flow of the carbon monoxide into the house with use. I dont know that you could find someone as knowledgeable and qualified as they are.We now own a beautiful, gas converted fireplace, that has kept us warm and toasty this winter without any worry about safety or workmanship thanks to Chimney Sweeps of America.They also installed a chimney liner and cap as part of a new roofing project following a hailstorm last summer.For both projects, Chimney Sweeps of America was responsive, timely, friendly, easy to work with, answered all our questions, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. We highly recommend them without hesitation. You couldnt find a better company to work with.

I recently had a fireplace inspection for an old gas fireplace that existed when I bought my house and looked a little suspect, to say the least. Mark came out to perform the inspection and was fantastic. He immediately knew what kind of fireplace it was and instructed me not to use it haha. He also did a thorough inspection and made sure I understood everything, including my options should I decide to bring my fireplace up-to-date. I got my inspection report on the spot and an estimate for the recommended work shortly thereafter. Very happy with my service and highly recommend Mark. Mark was great! He came and inspected our fireplace as we have a gas insert we had never turned on since buying the home and wanted to make sure everything was ok. Turns out the previous owners had done it completely wrong and using our fireplace as is could burn down our home! Mark did a great job explaining the situation and what our options were going forward. We were so grateful for his expertise and he was so kind, knowledge, and professional! Mark from Chimney Sweeps of America installed a new fireplace in my house. They did an absolutely fantastic job and would highly recommend them!I had a few fireplace companies bid on my project. Other companies did not take the time to my specific needs and were not confident in how the new fireplace should be installed. Chimney Sweeps of America took the time to really understand my needs. They worked with me to find the best fire place to fit my current opening and I could tell they totally understood the installation process. Gavin came out today and performed the annual inspection/cleaning of my wood burning fireplace. He was very professional, going into detail what he was going to inspect and clean. After he was done, he showed me the before and after pics of the whole system. I was very impressed with his level of service and professionalism. It turned out beautiful! The new gas fireplace is quiet, and gives off a lot of heat. The workman was so polite, clean and efficient in his work. He was very thorough in taking pictures of damaged side walls and then showing us and explaining everything that he would be doing. It took about an hour and a half to complete all the work and clean up. I was very pleased with the office staff also as they were very professional and kind and made sure they held an installation time that fit both my schedule and the length of time needed for installation. I would highly recommend Chimney Sweeps of America.

Nate arrived right on schedule. He thoroughly inspected both chimneys and made recommendations as to much needed repairs. He then cleaned both chimneys and flues. Nate was very professional and knowledgeable. We will use Chimney Sweeps of America again for the recommended repairs and annual maintenance.

Got a chimney inspection from them, not realizing that they did installs as well. Got an estimate after the inspection for a gas insert and decided to go for it. We ran into some challenges with the chimney size (old house), but they were able to come up with an acceptable side-vent solution that I initially had some concern about, but it turned out great and Im very happy with the fireplace look and function. Mark and Jon were very professional, punctual, and took care of any issues that came up along the way dealing with an old house.

The guy was here for a total of maybe 20 minutes and said our chimney didn’t need cleaning but still charged the full amount of $190, luckily I had the Angies List discount so was only $169 for the 20 minutes. We haven’t used our fireplace in over 15 years but getting a gas insert installed and they suggested we get it cleaned, I guess we had it cleaned the last time we had used it.Updated review: I received an email from the company that night very concerned about my experience and said they would follow up with a call the next day. True to their word I received a call from Trisha letting me know that the General Manager had seen my review and looked over my file and I was told that the work that was completed was NOT up to their standards. They then went out of their way to make make sure they made the work right and to earn my trust back in their company! I do not write many reviews but I do when I have service that I think falls way below my expectations and I very rarely see companies care and respond back, this is a sign that they truly care about their customers & the reputation of their work! With this follow experience I would highly recommend Chimney Sweeps of America as a company who takes pride in their services & their customers.

Nate came today to inspect/clean our chimney. He was running early and called to let us know. The cleaning was very efficient and professional. Nate even helped put the couch back after he used the outlet behind the couch as it was the closest to the fire place. Highly recommend.

Chimney Sweeps Of America did a great job. I had an issue with my gas fireplace where it would not start. The guys fixed the problem in no time at all. They were punctual, respectful of our house, and were just really nice guys. They were also very reasonably priced. I will absolutely use this company again for my future fireplace needs. They were AWESOME!
