I called this place, really interested in taking some classes. Just moved to Cleveland and made it a goal to dedicate my time here to learning as much as I could and really developing a skill in martial arts. The instructor answered and asked if I was was in a different city because of the area code on my phone, I explained I was in Cleveland and proceeded to ask a couple more questions about his background and experience, as I enjoy to communicate directly with whom I will be learning from, the instructor rudely interrupted me and said to go to the website to find the information and hung up the phone on me. Obviously with him being the person in charge he is free to handle potential customers however he chooses but as that interested customer I would say he was very arrogant, unprofessional and shouldnt be teaching any kind of class, especially one such as a Kung Fu that is all about discipling oneself.

I have been studying at the Shao-lin Center for Martial Arts for a little over two months now. I am a student in both the Tai Chi and Kung Fu classes, and I absolutely them. I attend classes there three days a week and look forward to them on each of those days. Training there is awesome! Mind, Body, Spirit: every part of you is nurtured, honed, and made better. Its hard work. There is lots of sweating and muscles ache, but every day you will see and feel yourself becoming more balanced, more toned, and more comfortable in your own body. Si-Gung Frank is amazing as well! I spent months looking for the right place to study, with the right teacher, and when I read about the way he teaches on the schools website, I knew I had found the both. You will not be coddled, you will have to work, but you will be encouraged and skillfully instructed along the way. The other instructors and students are also great! So, if youre thinking about attending, just do it!

I like Shao-Lin Center because of its uniqueness --you can learn self defense, kung-fu forms while getting cardio and stretches.

My two boys have been going to the Shao-lin Center for two and a half years and its one of the best decisions weve ever made for them. Si-gung Frank is an excellent instructor who is firm yet patient with the kids while having fun with them too.This isnt a sport/fitness martial arts school. Si-gung teaches kung fu for self-defense, stressing its always the last resort yet giving the kids the tools to handle themselves if they ever find they are in a bad position. I have seen my kids confidence levels and self-esteem grow as they have progressed in this martial art. There is nothing better than seeing the pride on your kids face when they successfully pass a sash test or figure out a new skill.
