**UPDATE** BEWARE of short cuts and not doing the job properly! I’ve realized the greasy foot prints and finger prints are the least of my worries. First service was an oil change and differential work. Second visit for emissions I mentioned a leak of some type of oil and they said it was the transfer case…I was told they tightened the seal & topped off the fluid. If I had further leaking I was told to bring it back in for a new gasket. I took my van into Toyota for a second option. They found NO gasket on the transfer case - no wonder it was leaking!!! And on top of that they found used gaskets on the differential. Crush gaskets have to be changed to new and not re-used. Seems jiffy lube isn’t competent to do the job properly. I’d give 0 stars if I could. Now I’m paying more $$ to get the job done right. Lesson learned. Will not be returning!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I’ve been to the West Jordan jiffy lube twice in the past 2 1/2 months. First time was for an oil change, second for emissions. Each time they were quick & timely with the services needed, but each time I got back in my car to find black grease marks on the car mats, steering wheel, and door handles. I should not have to go home and scrub my car mats after having my car serviced. It’s very unfortunate and unprofessional to return a car dirtier than it came in. I wish they would take 2 seconds to lay down a paper protector :(

I had previously received a quote for new tires. Decided to take them up on it. I purchased tires from Frank on Sunday 08/22 since they weren’t in stock, was told to expect delivery in 1-2 days. They got there late - on Wednesday, but staff informed me they did not have time to install them for me. I offered to come in on Thursday, and was told “yes sure thing, that will give us time to get them installed.” We went in on Thursday to install them, and were turned away. They said. “Sorry, try another day. We can’t do them right now. We’re do busy.” So I went right back and got a refund from the manager Frank, since they apparently can’t find the time to install tires I purchased.

I went in for registration/emissions and to get my oil changed. As I was checking out, one of the mechanics came up and showed me a stripped lug nut and said that a new one is just a couple of bucks. So I said sure and proceeded to check out. When I got home, I found a locking wheel nut that clearly wasn’t meant for my car. A locking wheel nut is a lug nut that’s smooth on the outside so it can’t be removed by a standard wrench. You need a unique key in order to remove it. Luckily, someone I knew had a key and was able to get it off. As you can see in the pictures, the locking wheel nut was put on crooked, so when it was taken off, my car was left stripped and now I’m missing a lug nut. If I hadn’t noticed this, I would’ve been screwed if I got a flat tire and needed to put my spare on.Why did these guys put a locking lug nut on my car? It doesn’t make any sense. I’m guessing they put this on intentionally so that I would have to go back and pay the service fees to get it fixed. It was put on crooked and it wasn’t even put on all the way — it clearly didn’t fit my car. This is really shady business and I would avoid this store. I’m reporting a complaint to corporate and I hope they haven’t done anything else to my car.

The workers were very quick not taking out my air filters, didnt see them vacuum or wash the exterior windows. Also, I tried to ask questions and the workers were not very responsive to want to answer me.

The team quickly took care of what I needed done. They were friendly and efficient.

Ive been going to jiffy lube for about 6 years now. And this one has been the fastest safest and most professional. I dropped my car off and it was done before I could finish at the store next door to them. When I say they were fast I mean fast like 20 min pretty amazing appreciate the work. Highly recommended

I went into this Jiffy Lube location at about 10 am today. I was having a slight squeaky noise from my rear brake drums. I pulled in and was greeted within the first 60 seconds of pulling my car up (keep in mind, they were pretty busy with all the bays full at the time, so thats impressive to me). I was greeted to make sure I was helped another 2 times within the next 5 minutes just to be sure. They came out and asked what I needed and I told them I needed a brake inspection. I told them about the squeaking. Tyson I think it was (man with a dark beard in the middle bay) checked both of my front brake pads and informed me that they were in good condition still. They took a look at my drum brakes and told me those looked good as well. They said there was some dust inside of my drums which could have been causing the squeaking noise. I pulled out of the garage and there was no longer that squeaking noise. I was impressed with how honest they were with me and the fact that they were willing to inspect my brakes for free. Getting inside drum brakes isnt a walk in the park either. I offered the man some cash for his trouble and he declined and said that that was what they are there for. Ive gone to other Jiffy Lube locations where they tried to sell me rotors literally a month or two after I had just bought some and every time I went in they were always asking to replace my cabin air filter and brake pads when I knew that they were still in good condition. This Jiffy Lube location seems different. The staff is all friendly and seem like honest people. Good customer service as well. Although there are closer Jiffy Lube locations to my house, the next time I need some routine maintenance for my car done I will take it here. Highly recommend this location. I hope the shop owner recognizes the good and honest employees at this location.

I have been coming here for years!! Jenny has actually helped us the last 2 times but is always friendly and explains everything to the T!! All the people are nice and professional. It doesnt matter what they build next to the place we will continue to do our business here because they treat their customers right!! There was even an employee who was helping a lady out and told her exactly what was wrong with her car . He even told her we are honest and wont take your money if its something we cant fix. That right there makes a company!!

I have been coming to Jiffy Lubes West Jordan location for 5+ years now. I have never been pushed to do anything for my car that I felt was unnecessary. When its time, someone will come over to speak to me and make suggestions, then ask if Id like to. When I say no, the issue is never prompted or made to seem worse than it is. Ive been to other mechanics when I lived out of state and it never surprises me when Im pressured to fix every little thing. Even in state, Big O wanted to charge me almost double for a service Jiffy offered.Ive never received anything less than kindness and honesty from everyone working here and I appreciate that in a business. I have a restored muscle car. I got an oil change and spark plugs relpaced.one of the employees went on a joy ride in it when they were finished. Then tried to say its policy to make sure the plugs dont fall out or back fire. (spark plugs falling out, are you kidding me. 🤦‍♂️)I called two other locations. Its not policy . There is no reason to rest drive it in that situation. On top of that the guy that test drove it acted like a tough guy.. was disrespectful

I worked with Lawrence very helpful with my visit, and awesome crew there in this location. Go by there and visit youll see what I meant. I will go back there and see them always!! Goo job everybody!

I called and asked about having the fuel filters changed on my 2017 Ram 3500. When I showed up, they would not change them because my truck was deleted and had after-market exhaust. They didnt want to accept liability in case something happened? What can happen? The fuel system is exactly the same on my truck as on any other truck. I left and went to a different shop. Big O. They had no problem changing my filters and did it in a timely manner as well.

Routine oil change took well over an hour, cars have come and go since i got here. Probably not going to come back to jiffy lube. way too long of a wait.

Took my Chevy Cruze in for a simple oil change they gave me a price that I agreed to. after they had removed all the oil one of the employees came to me and said the oil that was recommended was now more moneyafter replacing the oil they rotated my tires that I did not ask for now I have to take my car in to have the front tires looked at cuz they are making noise also missing lug nutsTo top it all off they removed the cabin filter and dumped my entire glove box on the floor and did not put it back

I had a check engine light come on. They diagnosed faulty spark plugs and replaced them. That did not fix the problem. I took it back and they said I needed a gasket. In total the bill came to over $450 and the problem continued. They then told me they couldn’t fix the problem and recommended another auto repair. The new place diagnosed an dirty injector and did an injector flush. That was the problem. They charged $107 and said they would recommend that I go back to Jiffy Lube and request a refund for all or part of the cost. Carlos, the manager refused any refund. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years , but I will not go there again. Customer satisfaction doesn’t seem to be important to them.

They turned my cars lights from auto to on, for no reason, they were changing my oil. Auto lights turn off automatically and ON does not, so now my battery is dead.And on a past occasion at this location I saw one of the workers accidentally drive someones truck over the curb, through some plants and almost hit another car. Then they proceeded to blame the owner for not leaving the truck in neutral. They drove it into the garage, not him.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at this Jiffy Lube location! It was the first time in years that I took my car to someone I didnt know and trust, but I was assured that my car was in good hands! The guys here were VERY quick (I was in and out in under 20 minutes), very professional, and very nice! Britton helped me out and made me feel very well taken care of. He didnt try to make me buy anything extra that I didnt need. I will definitely be returning to this location.

In truth the time and attention on arrival was very precise and clear.1. I asked and they informed me from the computer the price for the oil service and change of the wipers.2. But it was not like this:A. When I am paying the price was higher.B. They give me the vehicle and I turn on the wipers. They did not place them, they had left them on top and leaving the previous ones.

By far the worst Jiffy Lube in the state of Utah went in for a free oil change and ended up still paying $26 left thinking they did it properly and got home and there’s a great big oil spot all over my driveway found out they stripped the oil pan plug went back in and their way of fixing it was a butterfly plug those don’t hold very long called corporate was told to go to a different location and had it fixed properly will never use Jiffy Lube services again

Worst jiffy lube out there, and that’s saying something because they’re all horrible. if I could give zero stars I would. Went in to get my tires rotated and they came out and told me there was a long plastic thing running down the center of my truck and they couldn’t do it. All you have to do is take the tires off and move them. You’re saying if I get a flat tire that I can’t TAKE THE TIRE OFF AND SWAP IT WITH ANOTHER ONE? Has nothing to do with what else runs down the center of my truck. I was stunned.

Amazing customer service. They filled all of my tires for free. I was in and out in 5 minutes. The guy helping me told me I might need a patch and directed me to another location down the street where they fixed the problem for free. Wow!

Had my oil changed and DMV renewal. Good job getting me in and out quickly.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews. But after I left there my vehicle had a lot of things going on. Battery was left loose so it bounced around, lost the connection, vehicle wouldn’t start. The ground wire broke from it bouncing around. When I opened the hood I found they left the strainer for the wiper fluid out and crushed it with the hood. Then I decided to check the oil and found that it was way way overfilled. I’ve had minor issues with jiffy lube before, I won’t use any jiffy lube again after this time.

The staff was extremely sweet and considerate. Prices are not too bad and they are very fast and efficient. Love them

They did literally nothing i asked them to. waist of time and money.On top of that they gave me a report full of lies saying they cleaned, fixed, and filled things that are still EXACTLY the same as before. I later got my oil checked and it was COMPLETELY BLACK. They told me to email them about it and they never even respond. Really your better off saving time and just throwing your money out the window.

I enjoyed the lounge area, it was very clean and tidy. The staff cleaned the exterior windows but they were very smeared, thankfully the windshield washer fluid and wiper blades worked to make my windshield clear again. Prices are a little higher than im use to paying.

Always pretty fast. They finally hired some young man who could work the computer. I was in and out for an emissions test and on the spot renewal.

I really wanted to like it, but they found at least 5 things they wanted to upcharge me for when I knew what I wanted and needed.I just came for an oil change, as I try to have this done on a regular schedule. I thought, why not give them a try.I didnt need my headlight glass cleaned up for $$, or the many other optional $$ services they tried to pressure me into.Ill stick with Burt Brothers in the future.

I went here to get topped off on oil and get an oil change. They were so quick, kind, and honest. There were a couple things that they could have said needed to be changed out, but really didnt need to be done for a couple more months, and they were honest about that. I had quick, very pleasant experience.

They changed my oil quick but they didn’t put the clips back on for my lower engine splash shield. I now have to fix this myself I will not be back because they didn’t care enough to fix something that simple. I’d avoid these guys like the plague. Thanks guys.

Bunch of douches and scammers. I took my car in for a check engine light, they told me the code was for my o2 censor, I replaced it and the check engine light went away so I went in the very next day to get the emissions done and they said they wouldn’t pass it because the same code from the other day was still there, even tho I had replaced what they told me and my check engine light went away, when I asked them what the code was for, they proceeded to tell me I had a bad catalytic converter, so somehow it was the same code as before except completely different and conveniently more expensive. I don’t even remember who it was that I talked to but good grief what an a$$hole, extremely rude and condescending towards myself. Genius way to treat customers. Also extremely overpriced, they tried to charge me 89$ for an oil change because I needed “full synthetic because it was a Volkswagen” however my son then proceeded to tell me that on his high performance car he gets synthetic race oil when he gets oil changes and pays 85$ so doesn’t make a ton of sense to me. Long story short, never go here

They lied saying a lot of work needed to be done urgently when it didnt. We got an oil change that they charged a ludicrous amount for. They didnt even change the cars computer so that it stopped giving the change oil warning, so maybe they didnt even change the oil... Not worth visiting.

Oil changes, tire rotation, emissions, safety inspections... Nothing glamorous, but they get the job done, and theyll cost you less than the dealer. Ive never had them forget to put the oil fill cap back on, either, unlike some big box retailers that offer similar services; I give no doubt theyd make it right if they did, though, unlike the aforementioned big box.

I came here during my lunch to avoid waiting for 45 minutes at 5:30. It worked. They pulled me in immediately. I was getting my emissions checked. The car failed because my check engine light was on. I took the car to a diagnostics place and they got it shut off since it was an error. Jiffy Lube said I could come back and get it retested for free. So thats what Im doing now and I got in immediately, and the guy is coming to tell me were good. No charge. 12 minutes. Good in my book.

The bad thing about Jiffy Lube is the first thing Ill mention. If you come here for an oil change, expect the salesman to work really hard and talk really fast to try to upsell you on how your vehicle needs certain things and how manufacturers recommend certain things... After coming here for so long, that part gets annoying. Other than that, the service is decent.

Super quick and efficient. The guys were real nice. They rape you on price but thats Jiffy Lube. And its worth it when I go after work during rush hours and Im still in and out in 25 minutes

I love Jiffy Lube. Theyre fast and friendly. They try to sell you other services for your car, but all you have to is tell them youre not interested. They have on-spot renewal. I thought their price for inspection/emission service was kinda high, but I dont know how it compares to other places.

Used to LOVE this place. Went there regularly for years - recently, (my family and I have been there 4 times over the last 6 months) things have really changed. arguing about honoring a coupon my wife took in, pushing hard for more services than what seemed reasonable, condescending employees, etc. Cannot recommend this location anymore. Hoping to find a new one that has the atmosphere that used to be great.

I go here all the time for my cars oil changes and small maintenance work. All the guys are quick, polite, and seem honest. Despite all the Jiffy Lube hate out there. Just wish corporate would lower their oil prices and think they sometimes forget to vacuum the cars carpet. Not that it a big deal at all.

NEVER go to this place. Never. I use to work there, with great employees, which is how they even got this many stars in the first place. Then, management changed, good employees started leaving.. and now me, a prior employee, got the wrong fluid in my transmission, tried to tell them otherwise, they didnt listen, then I had problems with my transmission shifting RIGHT OFF THE BAT. I had to buy my own transmission oil, come back, drain and fill it back up, and they absolutely REFUSED a refund, even though this all took 3-4 times longer than the service should have. Absolutely terrible service. Never!

I typically dont post reviews about places unless they are particularly awful. This place is awful. In the past I have not had much of an issue with Jiffy Lube, just a few recommendations that werent actually needed (which is to be expected with cars). This location changed my oil with conventional, despite my girlfriend stating that she wanted a synthetic blend as we are going on a road trip. The mechanics informed her that the coolant was low and the cabin air filter up and vanished. When I looked at my fluids yesterday, the only thing low was the windshield wiper fluid. Now I am below the minimum line for my coolant. I didnt notice my cabin filter was missing, but since it was taken to Jiffy Lube it absolutely is gone. When checking out and paying for the service, my girlfriend mentioned a total of five times that she had a coupon. The clerk assured her that it would be added to the total bill at the end of the transaction. She eventually gave up and did not use the coupon. When I called to ask about the coupon (after about five minutes of them trying to figure out where I was in the system despite the fact my girlfriend had been in 10 minutes earlier), they said that they would most likely not be able to process the coupon to give me $10 off. Which isnt a huge deal, but from my experience working with card readers, it is incredibly simple to merely adjust the amount paid. For the final let down, when my girlfriend went back into the car to leave, she noticed that our car manual and several personal items were taken out of the glove box and placed on the passenger seat. The reason the clerk gave me for my stuff being out was that they were checking the cabin filter (wherever it went) and didnt want to rearrange your personal items. So, very long story short, Jiffy Lube should maybe let go all of the teenagers working there (or train them correctly and let them know they should not be talking about inappropriate things within earshot of customers) and start hiring people who show an ounce of maturity.

The guy at the desk told five people in a row, including myself, that their antifreeze was low. I know for a fact mine wasnt. And when I asked if I could see it, he took me to my car, pointed a flashlight under the hood, looked again himself, and said its halfway between half and empty. And then walked back inside. Of course, I declined all other offered services. I realize that I must learn DIY methods for vehicles as it has become clear that I cannot trust these people. Jiffy Lube admin, dont bother responding to this. You still havent acknowledged my email sent regarding my experience at the West Valley location.

That place sucks.. i will never go there again. get more people that know what they are doing. bad service

$58 for a basic oil change? I think they took advantage of my wife. She didn’t bite on any of the classic up sells either, no air filter, nothing extra. Just the cheapest oil change they said they had. A shame, I really wanted to go there regularly.

Polite, efficient, great service

When I go in, they are pleasant, but they charge you overpriced oil. They never share how much it is to the customer, they just assume that is okay. My car is at 160,000+ miles and they insisted that I put in high mileage grade oil that is way more than I wanted to pay for oil, and I didnt get to see the price until after they gave me the receipt. This is my second time going, hoping for a better trip this time around, but I still got the rug pulled out from beneath me. They top everything off for free, but my air filter was junked up, so they replaced that for way more than I wanted to either. Im boycotting Jiffy Lube. They are too sneaky and too expensive!
