I am like the Tin Man from the wizard of OZ at this point - a middle aged accident prone, outdoors woman and athlete with aches and arthritis and creaks that need to be maintained. Chris has kept me moving and adventuring. The good folks at Train Boston make me feel like I am working out with my bestie or with family. I have been training with Chris for more years than I can remember and am 100% sure if I hadnt trained with his expert and educated and sometimes non negotiable firm guidance I would be watching you tubes of great athletic prowess rather than attempting feats only my dogs will ever witness. PT at TB has restored me. The facility is spotless and the greetings when I walk in are kinda like those at Waffle House. EVERYONE says good morning. Thank you all for everything!
The classes and training sessions are all so structured, and the instructors motivate you to give every workout your all! I’ve been going to Train Boston for years and have learned the proper way to do exercises/ use equipment, which I’ve never learned before. Huge shoutout to Danielle for being the best physical trainer and giving me really good advice on my fitness/ life!!!
I have been going to Train Boston off and on for almost 10 years. Having tried many other gyms and personal training experiences, I can say without hesitation that this place is best-in-class. They have great facilities with new equipment designed for athletes. Throughout the pandemic they have done a great job with sanitation, masks, and social distancing. The trainers are the best. Ive worked with Chris, Zach, and Jessie over the years. All are super thoughtful with programming and are great motivators. Highly recommend checking out Train Boston if youre in the Wellesley area!
I came to Train Boston with very little lower back mobility and in a lot of pain. I had seen a chiropractor, had several acupuncture appointments and nothing helped. I was out of work and stressed out.As soon as I walked through the door at Train Boston I knew I was in the right place. The atmosphere, the staff, the clean well run environment.I was teamed up with Sean Sheridan who is absolutely amazing and his job, and a wonderful person to work with. Just listening to my complaints every week and just taking it from there! After a few weeks I was amazed at the progress I had made and have fully recovered thanks to Sean! I will forever be thankful and will always return to Train Boston.Check it out, I promise this is the place for you👍
Went for PT at Train Boston for my back. It’s a great facility, big but not crowded, with lots of staff doing training and PT and helpful people at the desk. The GM, Terry, is a lovely woman and was very welcoming. As for my session, Bianca did a great job in pre-selecting a good program, taking me through each exercise so I could easily understand them, and giving me both written summaries and links to videos. Very pleased with TB.
Had to change my review. Previously I had let some things slide being in the service industry myself. The massage therapist was late for our appointment. The price for the massage was communicated as being 25$ cheaper than what I was charged. The massage itself was very good.
Cant stress enough how good Train Boston is. They work within whatever parameters you give them. I wanted to continue Krav Maga training while healing a strained rotator cuff and Michelle worked with me at that level. A+ marks across the board from Karen and Terri on the phones to the actual torture Michelle inflicts during my PT sessions. I always leave feeling physically better and empowered to help myself heal.
I have been attending group classes at Train Boston since July 2014- this is my first experience at a gym, and I love it! The trainers are very nice and really help you with form and make sure you are not going to hurt yourself. I have met some amazing people in my classes and have not missed going except for holidays and one business trip. I feel stronger all around so the work has paid off. I highly recommend Train Boston- overall it has been a fantastic experience for me.
Train Boston is a facility where everyone is treated with respect and professionalism with a generous dose of caring and concern.Whether you are an older client working through a injury or a young athlete training to excel at your sport, every one is given the highest standard of care and attention.Train Boston has excellent Physical Therapists and someone always seems to be available if an emergency occurs. What I like the best about Train Boston is once Physical Therapy is complete, there are Trainer/Coaches available to continue working with the client on a one to one basis. They work closely with the Physical Therapists to focus on maintenance of health and prevention re injury.Although they are very professional and high energy, the atmosphere is low key and casual. Coordinated gym attire is not required. People walking around are not slim young toned women or super muscle men. There are everyday people, young and old, working hard to stay as healthy as possible with the wonderful help of the staff of Train Boston,
I was introduced to the team at Train Boston just over two years ago, and Ive been going there consistently since then. It has dramatically changed my life to the positive. What sets Train Boston apart from other similar establishments is that the staff here really gets to know you and tailors the experience to your individual needs. Over time, I have developed a strong relationship with the staff, including my trainer and physical therapist. Together we set out goals and Ive consistently met these goals and felt the process along the way was efficient and effective. I would recommend Train Boston to anyone who seeks to improve their physical well being.
Ive been a Train Boston small group training client for nearly 2 years and I highly recommend it. The trainers are great instructors, very personable, and help you reach your goals. They provide a great variety of exercises and circuits, and provide individual attention during group training sessions.Overall Ive had a great experience at Train Boston, and highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve health/wellness.
I strongly recommend Train Boston for athletes at all levels. The staff, facility, and atmosphere are top notch. Its clear they care about their members. They are great at personalizing instruction to meet individual needs and fitness goals. The training will definitely kick your butt, but its also a lot of fun!
Been going here for a while now and I recommend it to anyone who has mobility issues or wants to improve their fitness. You spend your whole physical therapy appointment with the physical therapist, rather than being shuffled between aides. This place got me from episodes of being bed bound with pain to getting my life back. Now I hike! I have a connective tissue disorder and my physical therapist actually took the time to learn about it, and incorporate that knowledge into the exercises. Hes displayed more understanding and effort than some of the specialists Ive met. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Train Boston is the first health club I have ever joined, and I was hesitant to do it. I was warmly welcomed and find the trainers very friendly and helpful. They make every effort to tailor exercises to the different needs and ages of the people in the classes. They are enthusiastic and make the classes fun. Joining has made a positive difference in my life.
I have exercised and rehabilitated at Train Boston off-and-on for about 12 years and my experience has always been top-notch. When I was having trouble recovering from a knee injury in college, I turned to the team at Train Boston to help me fully recover and entered my college soccer season in far better form than I imagined was possible (not just in terms of my knee but my overall fitness level and agility). I appreciate the small size of the facility and atmosphere that goes along with that -- every time I stop by for a work out I am greeted by name. More recently I worked with Train Boston to rehab a shoulder surgery and my experience was equally successful. Nice to know I can always trust the very competent Train Boston team for any type of injury recovery...
I bought a Living Social for the Small Group - 4EVER strong for the over 50 set. I was not disappointed! The groups were small, typically with two very seasoned instructors who watched and insured the exercises were done properly. The program was designed to work all muscle groups - exercises were demonstrated and modifications were offered.I loved it.After taking a recent fall, I hurt my shoulder and needed physical therapy and decided to return to Train Boston. Again, I was not disappointed. It is easy to schedule an appt. and the therapist I am working with is awesome. The place is clean; towels are available; even water; the locker room is well appointed. This is a great gym.
Ive had the pleasure of experiencing Train Boston as both a training enthusiest and former employee, and I have nothing but positive words to say about the outstanding staff and training model. Tim Brewster is a mastermind in the health and rehabilitation sciences, and I saw first hand how he can inspire and guide individuals looking to live a better, happier, healthier life. I strongly recommend the expert staff of Train Boston to anyone looking to improve their physical well being!
I have never belonged to a gym before Train Boston but once there felt very happy to have found this place. As with most things, it is the people that make it a good fit. From the front desk to the Trainers to the PT group they care about their clients and demonstrate real knowledge and understanding of individual needs.
I started taking the Train Boston Group X exercises classes in Fall 2014. These are amazing, bootcamp-style classes run by certified personal trainers who really know their stuff! Each workout is different, and its always lots of fun! The trainers make modifications for group members when needed to ensure safety and high quality of movement. They are excellent at correcting exercise form and even better at motivating me to work hard during each and every class. Since last Fall, I feel stronger, leaner, and more energized throughout my day. I am also a long-distance runner, and I have noticed that I am able to run faster and longer now that I do Group X 2 days a week. If you are looking for a total body workout that is safe and effective, I highly recommend trying Train Bostons Group X classes.
Ive been working with Danielle on full body training for softball and love the experience! The workouts are challenging and demanding and that is exactly what I was looking for. Danielle is fun to work with and I have a great time! Looking forward to continuing.
Train Boston has the most knowledgeable, caring and helpful PTs that I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this practice to anyone.
I couldnt recommend Train Boston more highly. Over the years Ive gone for a number of reasons – – general workout classes, Pilates and physical therapy. The staff is highly professional, friendly and motivated to achieving maximum results. Also contributing to my rating is the friendliness and efficiency of the support staff, who in one case worked months with my insurance provider based in California to finally solve an incredibly tangled payment problem. Theyre simply the best.
It is very rare to find a group of such quality individuals like the Train Boston Family. From the moment I walked through those doors in August I have felt nothing but love. A beautiful facility, an amazing staff, 5-star trainers, and most importantly great people. The combination of quality staff and members creates an upbeat atmosphere where people are getting fit but enjoying themselves and having fun at the same time. Athletically I am doing things that I never knew I could do and I owe it all to you guys. Tim, Kevin, Terry and the rest of the Train Boston family I love you guys and thank you for everything!!
I love Train Boston. I started going nearly four years ago. Its on my way in to work.I have thoroughly bought into the training model, because it would be unlikely that on my own I would push myself sufficiently, or with proper technique. I see trainer Mitch Shechtman weekly. Hes fantastic, and the whole staff is very nice.I am in so much better condition than I was before, and in a better mood most of the time too.My only complaint is the relatively limited hours, for example no Sundays in the summer, and closing relatively early Fridays. But I tend to go early in the morning weekdays, which is fine.
Train Boston staff can handle any level of PT or training from post-surgery rehab to professional-athlete strength & conditioning. I like the continuum, because I am sometimes recovering from injury and sometimes trying to improve my athletic performance. I am an amateur competitive horseback rider in my 50s. I use Train Boston for my athletic needs, including periodic PT, regular athletic training (during competition and between seasons), Pilates, massage and nutrition. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and they communicate well to share information about my specific needs. They also provide me with programs to use when I travel, making use of hotel gyms, portable equipment and body-weight mat exercises. I rely upon them to keep me healthy and competitive.
I have been a day one member of Train Boston and am extremely happy with the club and my membership. They have very experienced trainers and PT experts, state of the art exercise equipement and plenty of space inside a facility that is clean, comfortable and secure. The staff are all friendly and helpful, all of the members are nice and are respectful of each others space, and the price is very reasonable. Whether you want to train for the Olympics, recover from an injury, or just want to keep yourself in shape and happy, Train Boston is the place to go.
Great technique and caring people. Use time efficiently and help with video and instructions to ensure proper technique at home. Nice integrated approach with other physical activity. Thanks Train Boston!
Ive been coming to Train Boston for a couple of years for PT with Kevin. (Different issues! He has not been treating the same thing for two years!) He is fantastic. He gets right to the heart of the issue and gets me up and running--literally. The whole staff from the front desk staff, to the office staff, to the trainers is personable, kind, and goes above and beyond for their clients! Thanks, Train Boston!
I have been a member at Train Boston for over 12 years. I have done group classes, utilized the excellent physical therapists, personal trainers, and Pilates. It is more than just a gym. It is like a family, where you feel well taken care of. The staff is first rate, and the longevity of the staff members says a lot about the place. Trainers make suggestions of ways to make your experience the best it can be. I know I am so much healthier because of Train Boston, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a premier experience.
The staff at Train Boston are amazing! The trainers and the Physical Therapists are all working together to help you achieve your goal. Professional, friendly & inviting. These guys cater to athletes and really know what they are doing!
Ive spent a lot of time at Train Boston, for personal training, Physical Therapy (on land and in the water), bodywork and Pilates. You wont find smarter, more experienced, motivating and positive people to work with anywhere. I cant say enough good things. All their programming is highly individualized to meet the needs of each client. Everyone who has followed my suggestion to come to TB has been exceptionally happy.
This training and p.t. facility is the best place in Wellesley....once you enter the door, your aches and pains begin to heal and, if in training, your expectations will be met. So glad I became a member...all trainers are superb and knowledgeable!!! A very satisfied member.
Physical therapy for athletes, weekend warriors, and those who care for them... My experiences here have been so much more than what I expected. My experience with Jesse for personal training really helped me get started again with my own personal fitness program. Soon after, due to an unfortunate rock lifting incident, I required PT and saw Tyler. Amazing. Back in the saddle after two visits. Hes a miracle worker.
I started going to Train Boston a year after my knee replacement operation. I could not go up and down stairs. I used to go one leg at the time. After starting the PT Services at Train Boston now I can use my two legs going up and down. I still have some pain, but I am much better. David, PT is fantastic, and without his help I could not improve. I have tried a few places for PT but am most happy with Train Boston.
I have gotten hurt from sports many times, and my doctor always tells me to come here for pt. I always get better and the help is awesome! Right now Im getting better from an elbow surgery and my physical therapist is awesome! If I get hurt again ill know where to come!
The physical therapy at Train Boston is outstanding. This is not your normal PT office. They tailor your program to your needs, your injury and your particular goals. The other services they have make it a seamless transition out of PT into maintaining a healthy body. I love how the PTs communicate with the massage therapists and trainers and instructors. It gives me confidence that my workouts will not cause or exacerbate injury.
My original intent in coming to Train Boston was to seek help from Kevin Wagner in treating a strained hip. Not only has Kevin provided me with exercises to correct the problem, he has afforded me the essentials to increase my mobility, flexibility, and range of motion. What a world of difference in my quality of life! Thank you Kevin! Thank you Train Boston!Stu Taylor
I have had phenomenal experiences with Train Boston. Primarily through my PT work with Jeff, but also with their front desk staff, other personnel, and even scheduling and online notifications, etc. Last year I was training for the Boston Marathon (my first marathon!) and had tendonitis. Jeff treated not only my tendonitis (which completely improved), but most importantly, looked at me as a whole person, saw the big picture, and worked with me to make the most of my quirky gait and bone structure to put me in an optimal position to run and train for the marathon injury-free. I really attribute my marathon success to him and the holistic preparation he provided! I continue to see him for flare ups and helpful preventive strategies to keep me running long distances. The rest of the staff is also wonderful. Even though the front desk is sometimes very busy, the staff is patient and never seems to get stressed. Once I was mistakenly charged for an appointment, and when I called to discuss it, it was handled very respectfully, politely, and with good outcome (charge was reversed, no problem). They are also very open and flexible about making use of their facility before or after appointments. Great equipment and gym areas, and very easy going feeling throughout the establishment. Its a great place for healing and thinking positively. I highly recommend it!
We have been active Train Boston clients for over five years. We have used virtually all of their services from personal training, to PT, to massage, to Pilates. The quality of trainers and PT staff are extremely high and the value add received makes it well worth the cost. Everyone is very friendly, service oriented and we are very happy to be TB members!
I work out at Train Boston regularly and give it highest possible ratings on all counts. As someone who knows two other fitness organizations, I can say with confidence that here is no comparison. The question is why. First, I learned the staff has deeper knowledge of their profession than others and apply their extensive expertise to tailor programs for the individual. They do not just go through the motions which has its risks. Second, they know their clients and work as a team. Like any top organization large or small, you can tell they are good when you get a sense of their values and the culture they create.
Unfortunately, I have had the need of physical therapy on/off for more than 20 years. Train Boston is by far the best. The staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable. Part coach, part cheerleader, getting you to your health goal is their number one priority.
Excellent facility with extremely friendly staff! Very knowledgeable diagnosis and effective treatment. Couldnt have had a better experience!
World-class expertise concentrated in one location. No matter what your goal is (enhancing elite athletic performance or returning to normal function after injury or surgery) , Train Boston can help you achieve it.
For an individually customized approach to training, there is no better place. Ill tell you why....Ive been training at Train Boston for about five years, and have used virtually all of the very comprehensive services they provide: personal training, small group training, physical therapy and even therapeutic massage.I used to think that using personal trainers was a bit effete and was for those that, unable to get conditioning done by themselves, needed a trainer with a cattle prod to make it happen. However, Ive learned that doing a specific conditioning exercise without the proper technique is only marginally better than not doing the exercise at all. And I also learned that, when left to my own devices, I will figure out the easiest way to do any exercise - also with the end result being much less than optimal. Proper instruction by skilled personal trainers is actually difference maker. The remarkable value of Train Boston is the level of communication between the training staff as a whole - everyone on the training team is aware of the physical limitations or specific training goals of those with whom they might come in contact. And conditioning exercises are modified on a client-by-client basis to accommodate those individual limitations. This brings an unusual and valuable level of personalized consistency to the overall training program for each individual. If youre thinking about goals-based or needs-based training, this is the place.
Both my wife and I have had post surgery physical therapy here at TrainBoston and frankly we wouldnt go anywhere else...and we have tried a few places before landing here. These folks not only are the BEST but the second bests are way in the distance. If you want thoughtful, careful and professional help from folks that know their business and execute beautifully this is the place for you. You will get an experienced, credentialed professional who is 100% focused on you while you are there and available to you as needed by email. Why do distant seconds ( or beyond) when you can go to the best.
I have been going to Train Boston for over 5 years---for different injuries as well as to maintain my over all fitness. As far as the physical therapy part--I could not be happier. David has magic hands that know just where to go to fix the ailment. Plus he explains everything so you know why he is doing it and what exercises you need to keep doing. As a member, I am greeted by name every time I go--which makes it worth it since it is hard sometimes to make yourself go and work out on a cold day after a long day at work. I feel like I am entering Cheers you want to go where everyone knows your name.!!! They even check on you when you do not have an appointment. Very relaxing, friendly, family like atmosphere!!
I have been training at Train Boston for almost three years and have worked on an individual basis with many of the personal trainers. I have also utilized their Physical Therapists more often than I care to recall. Everyone at Train Boston is friendly and professional. They know their stuff and they take the time to design customized workout and re-hab programs based upon the individual needs of the client. I have experienced great results ranging from just getting into better shape to recovery from back, knee, and shoulder issues. The treatment and assitance that I have received over the last few years has been truly outstanding.
I have been a member for 3 years. I have tried other clubs and personal trainers and nothing compares to TB. TB offers choice, meaningful workout programs AND trainers that are personally invested in my health and fitness.
I went to Train Boston for post 1 yr. rehab of a partially torn rotator cuff injury. During the sessions we also began to address the chronic lower back pain which was also present for some time. I was quite surprised and delighted with the very thorough and expert approach to addressing both issues. The result has been dramatic for me with a significant improvement in my physical quality of life and of course with attendent mental benefits. Jeff Carlson has earned my respect and gratitude.
I walked into Train Boston about 8 weeks ago with Servere Back and Neck Pain and incredibly limited mobility. After an Initial Consultation I was assigned Sean Sheridan as my Physical Therapist. He asked me a number of questions, had me fill out a questionnaire about current and past issues with my Back and Health in Particular. Once he assessed the situation he immediately put me on a weekly regimen of varying exercises in addition to the manual manipulation of my Neck and Back. Further, he Videotaped me with MY phone performing the exercises so that I would do them properly without his supervision and have them to refer to whenever I needed a refresher. Bottom Line, 8 weeks later I have Full Range of Motion and hardly any pain at all. Resumed normal exercises and the day to day activities which caused me pain are now completely gone. Perfect since we are just now coming into Summer Season and I can do everything I want being that I am very active. Seans New Nickname is All State, referring to the Good Hands People. Trust me, you would be in Excellent hands with Sean. I highly recommend both Train Boston and Sean Sheridan if you are ever in need of Physical Therapy!
Working in the field of healthcare, and VP of a national non-profit here in Boston, I can truly say that this is an incredible team of professionals, working together to create a plan of individualized health and wellness for each client who walks through the door. My PT, David, brought me from a place of not being able to walk up a flight a stairs to dancing at my daughters wedding. (Cheers, David!) I highly recommend Train Boston to all who want to feel healthy, look great and want a training center where you feel like #1. Terri and the incredible staff at the Wellesley site work diligently with you to insure that you receive the health program that you require. Thank you to all, especially David for the encouragement, support and making me work through the pain of herniated disks, stretch, exercise, and keep motivated. Cheers!
PT approach is exactly what I was looking for - not cookie cutter! Very knowledgeable, friendly, on-time, helpful
11 months ago both of my knees were replaced at the same time as I couldnt do everyday stuff because of the pain caused by bone-on-bone osteoarthritis. Committed to ensuring my full recovery, my surgeon advised that TrainBoston was by far the best physical therapy group for complex rehabilitations and he was right.Today I am 70 pounds lighter, significantly stronger and pain-free. The team at Train showed me how to create the right combination of exercise, nutrition and lifestyle to support my rehab. My primary physical therapist was knowledgeable, compassionate and appropriately demanding. Because the staff is uniformly proud of their high professional standards and services, they really complement each other. And that meant all of the therapists and trainers were invested in my personal recovery. The gym spaces and treatment rooms facilitate privacy with a nice dose of camaraderie. Overall the vibe is encouraging and supportive, exactly filling the needs of recovering clients.During the past ten years I received physical therapy treatment at three other centers in Wellesley. Train Boston treated me with excellent care, simple schedulingand a good sense of humor. Theres no better place for pt and guided exercise.
Excellent! Physical therapy with Dave for my sciatica has enabled me to be pain free.
Great trainers and PT, integrated, athlete-focused, well-run, and personal....and minus all the fluff at other facilities!
After competing in several national tennis tournaments, I realized that my strength and fitness level needed to improve inorder to compete at the national USTA tournament level. I joined TrainBoston in July 2014 at the recommendation of my aunt. Within several months of training at Train Boston, I could feel the difference, especially from a stamina perspective. I really like all the trainers. They care about my tennis performance and work hard to help me reach my goals. In addition, I enjoy working out with other students my age who are training for their respective sports. Its a fun, yet competitive group.
Great community here-it makes working out a truly enjoyable experience.
Great facilities, nice people working there, great location with easy parking.
As a weekend warrior who sustained a major knee injury over 25 years ago Ive struggled to continue participating in sports at a level Im accustomed to. I was in search of a place to train where I could strengthen my leg during the off season to avoid lingering pain and soreness in season. I didnt want to simply join a health club where I could work out. I wanted to find a place that was tailored to athletes and those with injuries. Ive been a member for over a year now, done physical therapy with their therapists, personal training sessions with their excellent trainers, small group classes and worked out on my own in an unstructured way. Every experience Ive had with TrainBoston has been first rate . Ive been able to better enjoy my soccer seasons as the strengthening has resulted in significantly reduced pain post matches. If youve experienced an injury or just want to get back in shape for a particular activity, I cant recommend the team at TrainBoston more strongly.
Hands down the best training for all levels of athletes, and also for non athletes.Superior comprehensive analysis/ maintenance and service for your fitness no matter what your level. I played D1 tennis here in Boston and still compete and coach. Having had major knee surgeries early in my athletic career. maintenance has been critical in keeping my body as strong and healthy as I can.TBoston has the capability to train me specifically for my body and sport and also my vanity haha. Emily Blake Carusone is incredible, and the follow up from the trainer to a PT person puts you in the best possible hands if youre dealing with an injury and working out or competing at the same time. The Train Boston model is rare and needs to be duplicated but its likely a long way off for other training facilities to catch up to this level. My own mother, a non-athlete has had amazing results with the combination of strength and conditioning with Emily and Train Boston along with outstanding PT work from the therapists.
My 14 year old (highly active athlete) son Cameron broke his femur in September and we were lucky enough to find Jeff Carlson and Train Boston to take on his daunting physical therapy to recover. Cam worked out with Jeff two times a week for almost 5 months and his experience was outstanding. Not only was Jeff highly knowledgeable about caring for/recovering from the injury, he also had a wonderful rapport with Cam and was able to engage and motivate him through the challenging physical rebuilding process. As a former athlete himself, and with a lot of experience rehabilitating athletes, Jeff was the perfect fit for Cam. He was very much a partner through all the stages of recovery, and readily available outside of our sessions when small issues arose during the healing process. We are so grateful for his physical therapy expertise and support - thanks to his care, Cameron was skiing 5 months to the day after his injury - and just this past week he returned to playing lacrosse. Also want to give a shout-out to the rest of the Train Boston team that were an important part of our excellent experience. Terri Sherman and the Front Desk team did a wonderful job welcoming us and dealing with the administrative logistics during our many visits, and massage therapists Heidi and Judah were very caring and knowledgeable to help with Cams muscular recovery. I would highly recommend Train Boston and specifically Jeff Carlson for any physical therapy needs, and particularly for parents with youth athletes battling injuries.
Very first day we got straight on the path of figuring out my weaknesses and started the path of getting better. Staff and and environment are a bonus. Very clean and friendly.
I found TrainBoston three years ago for my PT after a microdiscectomy. Dave did my PT and was wonderful. He got me going again really fast. From there, I went into personal training and then their classes. Even though Im getting old (not TrainBostons fault), Im in the best shape of my life (to TrainBostons credit), notwithstanding that Im just now rehabbing from knee surgery (also not TrainBostons fault). Jeffs post-operative knee experience and knowledge is unparalleled, and he and Michelle are doing a wonderful job working me back into shape. In between, Ive worked with Kevin, rehabbing me from a partially torn/strained hamstring. All in all, the PT has been fantastic.A major key to the PT is the incredible training I get from Emily. Shes become an indispensable part of my health and well-being. Her thoughtful workouts, knowledge of my conditions and conditioning and willingness to push me to my limits are outstanding. Ive also worked out with Chris, and more recently Danielle and Garrick. Everybody has been knowledgeable and caring and have been willing to push me to get great workouts. Finally, Terry, and Andy at the front desk, have provided great service. From Terry responding to my first email at 11:00 on a Saturday night 20 minutes after I emailed TrainBoston after my back surgery, to helping me schedule PT and sign me up for class packages, theyve made everything incredibly easy. All in all, TrainBoston has been great!Phil R.
Train Boston provides the most professional expertise in the area when it comes to athletic conditioning, training and physical therapy. I have been a member for over 10 years and the training/classes have continuously evolved meeting the interest and needs of the numerous membership.Whether you are training for a triathlon or just trying to get back to the gym to loose those 20 extra pounds that snuck up on you, Train Boston is the place. The atmosphere is very supportive and non judgemental. The staff is friendly and helpful and very knowledgable. They fully evaluate you and offer helpful suggestions / exercises to strengthen and reduce the possibilty of further injuries. The equipment is well maintained and constantly updated. They have a dedicated pilates room and three private training rooms. There are two other large, well equiped rooms, available to all members if you prefer to work out on your own.I highly recommend joining Train Boston.
An awesome place to be, wont regret it
Kevin in a miracle worker! I saw him for over a year for a stubborn hamstring injury. He brought expertise and optimism to every PT appointment- especially when I thought I would never heal. Thanks to Kevin and Train Boston, I am back to running again!
Someone scheduled an appointment for my evaluation so that I could receive ultrasound therapy then I got an email from Terry saying that they do not do ultrasound therapy or any modalities at all. Incompetent. I initially called on 11/15/17 to schedule an appointment and I had to cancel due to an emergency and now when I go to reschedule I find out that they are not the best fit for my condition.
Awesome team and office
Great place for PT
Great place.
