We are so pleased with the infant care program//daycare at the Wayne YMCA!!Our son has been in the program starting at 4 months old and has benefited from a very caring, kind thoughtful staff. Miss Jessica, Miss Patty and staff have really cared for our son as if he was their own.Thank you all at the YMCA of Wayne!!

This was our first year at the YMCA. All I have to say is, if you are looking for a camp, look no further than the Wayne YMCA! My girls had such a great time playing and learning, it was hard for them to leave. The staff is amazing! I dont have enough kind words for this camp. Thank you so much for being so wonderful! I hope to see you all again next year!!!

My daughter commenced her journey at the Y at the tender age of two. She has had an incredible experience with establishing positive relationships with her teachers and other students. The Y truly fostered her love for learning, socialization with an amazing and strong desire to return to the Y for PlaySchool Camp. As a parent, I feel confident that my child is enjoying her early school years and highly recommend the Y without reservations.

I like facility, nice to exercise but staff didn’t know how to print out access records with member name which that access records was useless to submit to get reimburse from health insurance. At least she honestly said she doesn’t know how to print out member name and doesn’t know how to print out member information page either.I tried afternoon with another staff and that staff didn’t understand my request at all(print out access records with member name, not member number)So I gave up my health insurance reimbursement.Adding membership was same as access records. Staff said she doesn’t have authorization so filled out form first and next time when I visit YMCA they will proceed. I didn’t go there around 2weeks and they proceeded and charged $15 on middle of month. Passed half of month. I Called front desk 3 times they put me through manger 2-3 times and left voice messages and sent email to cancel that. Manager said of course I filled out form so they proceed. I thought they reimburse but one week later i called and called and figured it out they were going to deduct from next month membership.Tired to chase staff/ managers/ receipts for preschool because lack of detail explanation.

Nice place.. very cool community feeling. Im a member and like this place. It would be good if they have family swim times which is really convenient for family. If this issue is resolved, I would give 5 stars any day.

My 2 and 4 year old are in this school and they absolutely love it. The teachers are great and the specials are incredible. Its worth every penny

Has great potential. Lots of space and activities and equipment. However the locker rooms, pool area, exercise equipment and whirlpool are dated and tired. This Y needs to be renovated.

Love this facility. Beautiful salt water pool. Sunday yoga is awesome. Child care available while I worked out if I wanted.

The ECPW1 wrestling show was good. The crowd was large and it seemed like everyone was having a good time. I believe the YMCA should look into have more shows at their establishment.

Love this place. Lots of renovations and upgrades have already been completed with more to come. Cool that the Y now has the privilege of hosting the communitys food pantry.

The monthly membership is pricier than a standard gym, but the amenities and classes offered more than justify the price tag. Its a friendly, relaxed environment, and it bolsters the community as well.

My baby couldntve had better Summer Camp. I know she will enjoy and learn even more in this 2019 new school year. Thank you YMCA!!!

I signed my 2yr old up at the Wayne YMCA April 30 for private swimming lessons. I was advised that I would receive a call to set up the time and date within a few days. After a week of not hearing back I decided to call and was transferred to the aquatics vm, I left a message. Another week went by I called and was told I can send an email. I decided Ill just cancel and go elsewhere I called and left another message. After a few more phone calls I received a call from the head of the department saying he will correct the issue and call me the next day. A week passed and I had to call again and again and again. Six weeks later Im still waiting for my refund to go through. Please save yourself the time and go elsewhere. Awful experience I will never go back!😠😠😠

Excellent facilities. Great for classes, athletic activities, as well as other community events.

It was the worst experience I have had in ymca. Although we paid for the activities, we were acted as if we are fool. We booked our plan long time ago but they made a mistake about the date planned and we faced the consequences. It was obviously not professional. I honestly don’t have a positive feeling about ymcas anymore. Even the staff was not helping us. They kept saying nothing was under their control rather than helping. I don’t recommend any people to go there unless they want to have negative feelings about ymcas around the US.

We canceled our family membership several months ago, as their policies made the pool unusable for us, and swimming was exactly the type of activity we were doing there. The problem was, they really disprefer the activities regular membership includes in favor of things for which they get paid extra, and they do it in such a passive-aggressive way that it takes you a bit of time to realize that you are not actually getting what you are paying for. The Y has a reputation of a family- and community-oriented place, which is very nice. Still, in reality it meant many not-so-nice things to us. Initially, it was the teen sports team occupying the pool on the best hours (until 9PM or so). We thought it was fine, especially as we lived 5 minutes from there, which gave us a lot of flexibility (keep in mind though that it does mean overfilled, noisy and messy loCker rooms at times when the team is coming and leaving). But then things started to add up. They have summer camp during summer months (read, the pool is not accessible for most of the day, and so is one of the two locker rooms). You look at the pool schedule and see 6 lines open, then you come only to see that its actually 2 lines that are open (and filled with people who had also hoped to have a nice swim:), while the rest is taken by a birthday party. Or you come for lap swim (all in accordance with the schedule) to encounter a private lesson in a lap lane, with the instructor ignoring any possible safety rules and asking the child to jump into water when you are swimming by and literally are almost under the childs feet. Naturally, no apologies, ever -- always that we are what we are, what did you expect? tone instead. At some point, we decided to quit.Still, I think this may be a good place for some people, just not for us. If you live very close, if you only plan to come late nights, if you are not interested in the pool at all, or if you are looking for a child-friendly community, this place is probably worth looking at.

I love this place specially because I get to work out at the gym here I go here a couple times a week I prefer you get a membership here give everything you want inside its great

Wayne YMCA is a great place for various fitness activities like Gym, Zumba, Strength Training, Swimming, etc. and also other sports like basket ball, squash, Table Tennis, etc. The venue is filled with energy and a good atmosphere to be with family.

This place used to be so lit ,but they hired some rude people in the front. Discountined my membership because of this. This used to be everyones spot in town but changes in management fewer people are coming here.Im under an alias so they dont notice me.
