I cant say enough about Chimney Pros. I left a message for Tom and he called me back right away to schedule an estimate. They came right on time and provided a quote and found obvious issues that another chimney inspection had completely missed. I was told their calendar was full and the earliest appointment was a month away - totally fair! A few days later, Tom calls back saying they had a cancellation and we can be fit earlier. Unexpected, but great!John and Tyler (and I forgot the other persons name - sorry!) were both friendly and knowledgeable - explaining everything in laymans terms, which I greatly appreciated. They went above and beyond several times over. Cant wait to use my now working chimney!! Would most definitely recommend them to anyone. My only regret is not hiring them for my initial chimney inspection as they were way more thorough than the other company.

I scheduled an appointment with Chimney Pros to clean and inspect my fireplaces and chimneys and the entire process was very organized and professional. Dan, the specialist, arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable about our specific fireplace type. He was able to diagnose the issues that we were having and took the time to explain everything in detail. He also answered all my questions thoroughly which was very helpful. They will be coming back to make some repairs but based on their service to date I would definitely recommend Chimney Pros. Thank you Dan for all your help!

JOHN WAS TERRIFIC, EXPLAINED WHAT I NEEDED AND FIXED IT. ALSO SHOWED ME HOW TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE FLUES. THEY DID NOT MAKE A MESS AT ALL, CLEANED UP AND WERE ON TIME FOR THE APPOINTMENT.

Chimney Pro or one hour chimney as they called was really good. They were on time, infact accommodated my last min request to come a bit early and were professional, done the inspection thoroughly submitted the report on the same day. They added the quote also on request... Planning to use them to fix the gaps that were identified in this inspection...

Smoke smell from my fireplace didnt get better after chimney cleaning. When I called them they said it can be only removed with power cleaning which is four times more expensive than Ive already paid.I looked inside and I can clearly see a lot of creosole left.Dont sell this service as cleaning if the chimney is not getting cleaned

Tyler came to the door, introduced himself and took his equipment out of his truck. He explained what he was going to do and put down a drop cloth before he started working and told me how long the job would take. He also did a estimate for work that needs to be done.

In October of 2019, we had another company install 2 new stainless steel chase covers on our fireplace and furnace chimneys replacing the rusted galvanized ones. We called CP, as recommended by a friend, due to a continued slight rain water leak down our furnace chimney pipe. Upon inspection, the service man discovered (and provided a picture) that the old chase cover was never replaced. He gave us a quote for a new stainless cover but suggested we pursue the issue first with the other company. He also put sealant on the chimney to help stop the leak for the present. He was highly professional and polite and spent time explaining things without the expectation of anything in return. We felt he had our best interests in mind. We will pursue the issue with the other company but, because of the service mans presentation to us, we are going to have CP perform the replacement regardless of the cost to us. They have our trust.

Despite the positive reviews, I had a bad experience. I was charged full price for a cleaning that wasnt even necessary. My line was completely clean. They stuck a shop vac into my line from my basement where my boiler smoke pipe connects. If I dont need a cleaning, why not just charge me a small visitors fee? No, instead turn on the vacuum, move around the hose like youre doing something and charge full price for a 10 minute visit? Thanks but I will not call you guys back

We were in distress that we would have to give up our wood burning fireplace that we had used for 5 years and then all of a sudden after 2 companies came out and serviced and supposedly replaced parts it still wasn’t working, well thanks to Dan and Tyler , they found the huge problem and replaced the part and we are happy to report we now have a working fireplace once again! You dont often give someone a five star review for NOT delivering service, but thats what Tom gets. I burned some unseasoned wood and had a strong smoke smell lingering for a couple weeks; looked up past our fireplace damper and saw some crud, so I scheduled a cleaning. We had just purchased our home and I was worried that, even though there had been a recent cleaning, the other guys had done a bad job.Tom came out, took a look up the flue, and told me it looked great. To quote him: We could charge you a hundred bucks to reach up here with a broom and vacuum up some dust. Id love to sell you something, but you dont need a thing. Call us in the spring after the season and set up a cleaning then.My jaw basically hit the floor - what guy would take the time to make a house call, look at your situation, and say its ok, I cant honestly charge you for that. Most people would at least be mad that you wasted their time. Tom was honest and good natured and hes made me a customer for life by doing the right thing.All that, and his prices (at least for cleaning) are better than most competitors.

This is a top notch contractor. Had him install my chimney over 4 years ago and only allow him to do the cleanings. Tom and his guys are clean, respectful and pay attention to detail. I would recommend him to do any of your chimney needs.

John and Tom at Chimney Pros have been so helpful, patiently answering my many questions over the phone. Ive had them take care of my chimney (cleaning out and fixing the exterior) in the past, and I plan to use them again in the future!

Tom did an excellent job replacing my liner and also helped arrange a mason (who was also very good) to properly rebuild the top which was badly deteriorated - all at a very competitive rate. Highly recommended!

Tom and his team arrived at the precise scheduled time both for the day of the estimate and for the day of the chimney fireplace liner installment . He was extremely helpful when I called with questions regarding the work beforehand and was very easy to work with. The day of the work they seemed organized, efficient, and clean and they were done faster than I expected. After receving estimates from three different companies I would say the cost of Chimney Pros was very fair. Also a bonus, they did not try to push additional work on us that other contractors said needed to be done. They even saved me money by advising me how to re-do the fireplace doors. I would highly recommend them and Ill be sure to call them again for any other chimney needs.
