Whoever was working 9/3/2021@1735 had no idea what they were doing...customer service was horrible...doesnt know their change...the other cashier acted busy? no one was around...asked about discount on door with military pic and teacher for the discount...cashier states dont ask me i dont know what it is? wow...

Came shopping for school supplies for my granddaughter. Been regular customer for my home office supplies. My husband and I have an existing condition that prevents us from wearing a mask , in fact it is listed on our less than stellar Gov. Evers list of pre existing conditions. We were followed through the store , and finally approached by manager stating we have to wear a mask . Explained we have a reason for not doing so , my husbands condition is visible. You manager overstepped her bounds . I will be purchasing my new office furniture and future office supplies elsewhere.

I wasnt in the store more than 10 minutes and about five different employees came up to me and asked me if I needed help.... If I needed help I would find someone and ask for help leave me alone when Im shopping. I was looking at buying a new computer but I will go elsewhere because I felt like I was being followed

My wife chose to buy a home printer without looking at ink efficiency. When I went to buy her an ink refill, I was shocked to learn that the 4-pack in XL was over $130 in store. I usually buy online and can find it for less. The employees here found me a coupon that saved me 20% -that type of customer service is what will make me a lifetime customer and allow me to justify paying a little extra for products. This review is specifically for the printing services.I am rating this 5 stars - Excellent, Above expectations, Extremely Satisfied.Out of all the printing services in Wausau, I have found Officemax to be the most inexpensive one. In terms of quality, it has always been satisfied enough for me and for what it is intended for which was flyers and a program booklet for an event. Employees are competent enough to understand how to get the print job done.I have been here twice for printing services. The first time was great but the second time was what got me to writing this review because I was very pleased with the services. The guy helping me was very helpful, he knew what I was looking for and understood how I wanted my prints. He asked me if i had any coupons to use for my big order of 1500 page print. But I did not and told him its OK. But he ignored that and told me that there are great coupons out there that will help me save and he actually went ahead and scanned one of their coupons for me. Which did save me 20% on my order! Both times I went, I needed the prints completed very last minute, like the next day. Both times, I received them on time.They may be very busy so depending on when you go, you might have to wait if you want to talk to them in person of how you want your prints to turn out. Otherwise, you can easily just send your order through online and pick it up.

I have always found the staff very friendly and I go there a lot since they opened in Rib Mt. I love that place and find that have just about anything I need Office wise. It is a great place and I feel lucky I live near one that I can go to for any of my office needs.

I prefaced my visit to the to office max with a phone call. I wanted an new office set up. I was told that they had a diverse selection of executive office chairs in their showroom .When I arrived there was no showroom and just a few chairs. I was apalled and disappointed. There was No showroom at all. The wasnt helpful nor knowledgeable about ergonomic chairs at all. No helpful at all including the mgr. I will never ever return to this store again!

I go here to get things laminated late in the day. Easy fast service. The employees know how to use the equipment in the back, printing is done right the first time. Thanks office max.

I went in a while back to buy a laptop the Rib Mountain Office Max had advertised. I purchased it, without having to deal with a pushy salesperson, who was actually a decent guy (the reason why I am giving them 2 stars, instead of 1). Unfortunately, I got the laptop home it wouldnt even turn on. I went back into the store the next day and verified that it was a faulty product. All that wouldve needed to be done was exchange it, right? However, I was told that (even if it was a current model) that there were no more in stock there, none in any nearby cities, and that they had no idea when any would come in next. The only option they gave me was to either purchase a laptop that was more expensive or they would exchange it for a smaller one. The smaller one had a feature I didnt have, it was a feature I didnt even want. I asked to at least get the sales discount on this smaller one if this was the only reasonable option. (In doing this I STILL wouldve spent more money than I had originally) I was sold a faulty product and the store/company had poor inventory inventory management to remedy the problem. Never once did I raise my voice or speak rudely. Ive worked in customer service for a long time, so I am well aware that throwing a tantrum wont do any good in the long run. I simply wanted to do fair business with them. I asked to speak to the manager to see about at least honoring the sales discount on a different, more compatible laptop. I was willing to do this, even if it meant I had a shell out a bit more. So I was asked to wait to speak to Dawn the manager. A few minutes later I was told that she was not willing to compromise. I also noticed that she was also unwilling to come out to talk to me herself. I was then asked if I was going to purchase the more expensive model, said No, please return the faulty laptop for my full purchase price, spent my money at the competitor, and havent stepped foot back into Office Max since. VERY poor judgement on this stores behalf.

Place to go for office supplies, not the best employees for help though. They dont keep large items like desks in stock so they need to be ordered, however they will ship free to your house.

Cashier was visibly sick and suppressing coughs, seemed embarrassed to be in public. Management: encourage your people to take a sick day. Transmissible illness hurts everyone, including your foot traffic.

Horrible!! I have an account with Office Max. I am thinking about stopping my business there. The cashier who checked me out overcharged me for my copies.She charged me for color copies@ .59 per copy. She could see they were black and white. I told her they were double sided. The sign said copies were .12 per copy. Because they were double sided it should been. .24 per black and white copy. I complained to her because they came out of the copy machine ripped. I told her I thought I should have a discount. She ignored me. She charged me $11.80. It should have been$4.80.I will take my business elsewhere because of this cashier!!!!!
