I called Heat Source to do a inspection and maintenance on my Lochinvar wall hung boiler system. From start to finish I was impressed by the level of communication prior to arrival and after the service was completed. The tech who performed my service had 7 yrs experience and got the job done efficiently.

They came out to do a heating inspection for the sale of our house. Dennis was very professional and knowledgeable; he explained any question I had during the inspection process. I highly recommend.

I called and got an appointment the next day, for a PM for our furnace. Jesse was early, which was great, and very polite and professional, and already was wearing a mask. He was done in about an hour and a half and it cost $348 for the PM. I would definitely recommend HeatSource and Jesse! My technician was named Jesse. He was very thorough and professional throughout the service call. I ended up needing to replace my tankless hot water heater. Even though that wasn’t the news I was hoping for I’m thankful that he identified a scary issue that could have resulted in carbon monoxide being released into my home.

Very responsive! I filled out the Home Advisor online questionnaire to have a water heater looked at. In less than 30 minutes I received a phone call from Heat Source Mechanical. She told me she could have Sean at my house in 90 minutes. She called me back when he would be arriving in 15 minutes. He arrived on time to look at my water heater and immediately identified the problem. He then produced multiple options with pricing and a date when it could be done. He was very professional, personable and couldn’t have done a better job!

Excellent service. Prompt, professional, and knowledgeable.I submitted a home warranty claim over a month ago and the initial tech dispatched was unable to resolve my issues. The recommendation was to “replace the unit because replacing these small parts repeatedly will cost just as much, or more, in the long run”.I called HeatSource for a “second opinion” before paying $2,000 out of pocket for charges not covered under warranty. The technician, Denis, was able to quickly identify and resolve the issue preventing me from having hot water and heat for over a month.5 star service, and I’ll recommend to everyone I know.

Had an issue with my garage heater. Making an appointment was easy and quick. Technician (Joe) was on time and professional. Heater started working before he got there so he couldn’t replicate the problem but he still did a thorough inspection and cleaning getting it ready for the winter.Will definitely recommend heat source and Joe to friends/family.

HeatSource Mechanical is a great company. When we needed them they were johnny on the spot to install a new furnace. It was done in a days time and they did a great job. We were kept informed all the while they were working. Letting us know the progress of the job. They cleaned up completely when they were done. The workers are so polite and nice. Pilot light would not stay lit on my hot water heater. They were great, came the same afternoon and had it fixed quickly. Friendly phone service and repairman was very courteous and nice.

Received inspection and estimate to replace boiler and complete Re plumbing. Dustin was fantastic and was very helpful.

Cant seem to get their billing in order. Every 6 months they call about a bill already paid saying I have a balance due, they have no notes of trying to contact me previously. Really tired of showing them the paid invoice email every 6 months.

Heat Source is so good to send reminders when we need an annual inspection. They show up when they are supposed to and the technicians are capable and courteous.

Tech was very professional, knowledgeable and respectful. He was able to fix our problem very fast since he had the part we needed on the truck. The part was ridiculously expensive but I understand that’s not by fault of HeatSource and more so the manufacturer. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family. Worked with us with a home warranty service that can be difficult. They were willing to share info required by warrranty company. They knew the furnace was not working and was able to come on same day as called.

Based on my experience, HeatSource is the kind of company that strives to do things right even if they fail. So many times, when a product fails, it is easy to simply return it as being defective etc., but what about service... how is that measured and how do you make a claim against service? Well, HeatSource has accomplished just that... recently, I experienced what I would call poor service and they went out of their way to make it right. Our furnace went out at 2:30 AM. We called Heat Source as soon as they opened at 7:30 AM. They sent Gene out and by 3:00 PM everything was fixed and the house was toasty warm. What a great guy!!! I feel responsible to update my previous review. I have been waiting over a month for the office staff to get back to me on supplying an estimate on repair/replacement cost and refund of $118.00. Refund for call out and not bleeding the air from my system but telling me it can’t be done without installing new valve. Without estimates I can’t make informed decisions and I’m left in an emergency situation. So... I bleed my system using existing valve myself and it worked, I got heat! I’m disappointed I’ve been ignored in what Heat Source knows to be a freezing house and in our AK environment this can be fatal, especially to a senior person. I hope this review helps others in making informed decisions for their safety/health and finances.Thank you to Dennis for doing such a great job repairing my furnace. When the earthquake hit, I lost the heat in my house. Heat Source was the only company to answer yhe phone. The technician was over within the hour. My furnace was unrepairable. The earthquake had broke the heat exchanger in half from the shaking. The estimator was over the next day and within the week I had a new furnace. We bought our home almost three years ago. We have counted on HeatSource to keep our furnace maintained & they installed out waterless hot water system, which they also maintain. They were even nice enough to add a filter system to our pump!I would not trust anyone else to do the work they do. The techs are always very professional. They always answer your questions and provide honest service. If something shows signs of wear, but can wait another year, they let you know that. Everything is written down on the service sheet so keeping track of work done and/or forecasted maintenance is always available.

The gentleman that came out to our home and helped us with our unexpectedly dead thermostat was very clean, explained what needed doing and offered us options. His work was done fairly quickly and we were grateful to have our heat restored! I understand that calling someone for help at 9 pm is an inconvenience and I appreciate the friendly attitude and quick service.

Pressure tank and system kept cycling, after a week of trying to figure it out and having bad luck with other companies not showing up, I called heat source (should have done it in the first place) and the were on top of it as usual. Came out and let me know it wasn’t my pressure tank that the issue was outside the home causing my issue. Referred me to a well company and got my issue fix all same day. Thank you Heat Source for all the help.

The HeatSource team are awesome!!! They replaced an old inefficient heater that barely kept our daughters house above 50 degrees with one that actually works. Replacing the water heater with an on-demand means everyone can get a hot shower in the morning. Has eased my mind knowing that they don’t have to depend on a space heater and electric blankets to stay warm and the utilities will be a fourth of what they were with the old system. If I could give 0 stars I would. They dont call back. The technician didnt want to listen to the history of the system, its previous issues or what maintenance was performed to fix the issue. They left and did not fix the issue and they proceed to give me the run around. I would call this company a parts changing company. If its broke, install a new one cause they cant troubleshoot . Proven to me twice. Once with my forced air furnace and now with my hot water heater.5 stars on new installs though. They do new installs very well.Update: After having a long discussion With the owner I will give then an average of a 2 for an over all score. The conversation started rather roughly. We were able to come to an understanding that the technician should have listened about previous issues. I am still not convinced that what was recommended is needed due to the neglect of listening to previous issues. Although, It was my understanding that if the component recommended for repair did not solve the issue we would be credited for misdiagnosis.

Our boiler quit working over night. After several phone calls around town I found HeatSource. They not only had the single most cheerful lady (Christie I think her name was), she was the most helpful. Able to immediately give me both a time and cost estimate for the check to see what the problem was. The repair guy was at my house right when they said they would be and was able to figure out my boilers issue right away. Very helpful, I would recommend them to anyone in their service area.

Technician was very personable and knowledgeable. My only concern ongoing is the high cost of the trip out, higher by far than any other service I have used. This trip was adjusted for another call but that may not be the case another time. Otherwise I am very satisfied.

The capacitor went out on our furnace last night. We contacted Heat Source first thing in the morning. They came out by mid-morning; determined the problem, and replaced the part needed.
