Ive been getting a lot of furniture delivery lately, and this was quite a bad experience. The only redeeming factor was it was quick, but thats probably due to the freight company and not VMW.I received no advance communication from the delivery service. I got a call one morning asking if we were home for delivery--not ideal when you have to arrange to work from home for the delivery. We were already planning on being home for a later delivery that day, so figured it to return home earlier--but that was just a lucky break we could make it work. In the end, they didnt show up until later in the day anyway. When the delivery team arrived, they wouldnt assist in taking the (giant) table into our house. Only one of us was home, and it was raining. If this is your regulation, you need to let people know that. Thankfully, the other delivery team from a different company arrived around the same time, and they helped us move the table into the house. VMW also left a giant pallet there, even though we were able to move the table before they left in the end.In the end: VMW was a bad experience, but positively, Metropolitan Warehouse and Delivery, who helped us troubleshoot this unfortunate situation, we highly recommend!
