I originally came to the Alpine location for convenience, but now its the only place I go for oil changes. Ive also had them change my transfer fluids and flush the motor on one of my vehicles.Aws and Yazan are very knowledgeable and professional! I take all of my vehicles here now and no longer worry about leaks. I would recommend this location to anyone.

I live on the SW side of town and pass dozens of other oil change places (including some of their other locations) just to come to THIS one! I first started coming here years ago because my company chip truck needed a place with a large enough bay to get through and then I started bringing my personal diesel through for them to wrench on because the manager is super friendly and gave me a small discount for bringing him multiple vehicles. Today was a guy I had I had never had before but he was incredibly efficient working on my car and another car in the other bay! 💯 You have a customer for years and years to come because of the great workmanship here! 😎👊

Great service! We pulled up & within 5 min we were getting service! As a newer chevy Silverado, with less than 25,000 miles on it, the Very Professional Service Techs didnt try to sell us items we didnt need but didnt undercut the services we did need! Very quick, knowledgeable & all around Great Service. This is our 3-4 time going to Big Rays with various vehicles & always get 5 star service!!

I had another excellent experience as big Rays they always get me in do everything to my car for a full service oil change and check all my fluids put air in my tires and check a lot of belts pulleys whatever to make sure that nothing is wrong under the hood as far as what they can see check my air cleaner tell me if they have any oil leaks underneath his check my transmission over and they do a really good job I just love this place

Usually only going out of my way to write positive reviews, but my experience at this Big Rays location today was terrible.While they are efficient and seemingly easy to deal with - I was hit with the charge for the service above basic this morning without being asked if it was what I wanted. It was not what I wanted, and it was unnecessary. I told the men working that this was not the service I wanted, why they would assume something above the basic service without asking, and that what they did was shady and didnt settle well with me. They had nothing to say.Needless to say, I wont be going back, because this is highly unprofessional, and I wanted to warn others in the event they get taken advantage of as well. What a letdown for a place that reviews so well, and has treated me fairly in the past.

Disappointed with service level. Tires were not checked. Not sure the fluids were topped off. Price is $9 higher than last time with better service last time. Do not plan to return

The quality of service I received was second to none. They showed me how dirty my air filter and cabin filters were, which I completely forgot about. I was in and out in 10 minutes! If you’re in need of a oil change this is one of the best places around. Yazan and Aus are 100% real and won’t try to up sell you stuff you don’t need.

I had a oil change an other fluids checked.They only carry an use synthetic oil.Can recall if tire air pressure was checked.

I will never go here again, first thing I was told is that I needed new filters every 30 days because of the level of oil in them. Then told that my rear differentials were bad and needed to be replaced... LIE #2. Long story short NEVER go here all Michigan mechanics are con-artists and slime balls especially these ones.

Got my oil and air filter changed. The man working was quick and helpful! He did a good, thorough job!

Went in for an oil change and the employees were really nice. Stephon was a really great worker and made sure every thing was taken care of. I had a piece of plastic molding hanging under my car and they even took care of that for me. I will continue to give them my business.

Ive always gone to Big Rays since I moved here 3 years ago. Their price is reasonable and they know what they are doing. They never have my air filter in stock but it is an unusual filter which they will order for you if you want and when it comes in they will install it or you. They are super quick.

Always go here to get the oil changed in our vehicle well my wife does cause im at work all the time. But they are good decent people.

These guys are great. I have always brought my cars to them. Even when I dont need an oil change but want them to check my tires or other fluids, they are all too happy to help.

I went here on June 20,2018 cor an oil change. Jesse and Brian did the oil change and I was very satisfied with the job they did and also for the recommendations they gave me about my car. They were both very polite and respectful towards me. I appreciated the fact that they didnt try to push me into other work that should be done. I will go there again in the future. Thank you.

Like most oil change places, they find a ton of stuff wrong with your car and want to charge crazy prices to fix it. I was lured in with a $19.99 special only to find out my car didnt qualify. I got out of there for forty bucks. Let me kindly say that the mechanics were rough around the edges. They were fast. This place is no better than any other oil change joint and would not recommend coming here if you have a place you are happy with.

As one lady said below, I would have given zero stars if I could. I also recieved and oil change and the manager proceeded to tell me I have all these things wrong with my car out of the blue. I was shocked everything was SO bad it needed to be done right away. He made me pretty much feel stupid for going over my 3000 mark the way he talked to me. I asked him to write the prices of all the services I needed done and Ill check. He kept saying if I get it today hell give me a discount only today and a dealership will cost double. I needed a transmission flush and it was urgent. I said I dont have the money. I ended up calling the dealership later and they WERE cheaper than Rays but I still didnt get it serviced. I just got an oil change at Pennzoil-asked them about the transmission flush and he said everything looked GREAT and I didnt need anything done. The manager at Rays is trying to scam you. I will NEVER go there again. My previous experiences were great until I had him.

I went in for a simple oil change and was highly impressed! Without asking she put air in my tires and did a maintenance check. It was more of a full service oil change for the price of a quick service. I had an oil flush and an oil change and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes! I will definitely be back.

Horrible. Take a bank loan out before heading to the Plainfield location to get an oil change. Advertise 19.99 oil change. I just left, mine cost 46.50! Why??? Well, of course you have to get the better oil for 29.99. Thats fine. I knew they were going to do that. But after they are ALL DONE being told, Im still learning the pricing, sorry. Your vehicle takes a different filter so thats an extra 12 dollars, and your vehicle takes 6 and 1/2 quarts, so thats an additional cost. Been to several oil change places with this vehicle and NEVER heard this and have never been charged extra.Now I know why I could get right in, no wait. 46.50 for an oil change ridiculous!! Will never be back!

WOW is all that I can say. It was more than what I anticipated but I got done what I needed. They let me know that my brake light was out and gave me a huge discount to replace it. They were very friendly and efficient! I was very pleased!!!!!!

Be aware! Their posted hours on the front door are not accurate! I pulled in last evening at roughly 6:45-6:50p. The posted hours suggest they are open until 7p. I was stared at blankly through the doors, and after the two employees inside conferred, I was waved away. No service. We have been bringing both of our vehicles here for the past several years. No more. While Ive been satisfied with their work, I find it unacceptable that the hours are subject to random change. Now I have to spend extra time, effort, and gas to get an oil change at a different time. I wont be getting that service done at Big Rays. Quite frankly, who knows how early in the day I have to show up to get the work done? I would suggest that you change the hours listed on the front of your building to something more representative. It cost you one loyal customer. I cant be alone.

As you reminded me to update my review. Ive got my oil changed there for years, and had my head light out also. They informed me that 3 lights were out, and after 20 minutes of trying to fix my fog light, they told me they couldnt do it. Apparently, they were told not to do the difficult kind because it takes too much time... And mine had 6 bolts. I explained thats why I brought my car to begin with. Highly unprofessional, and way too long of a time to sit in a hot car. I will not be going there anymore after I had to spend $45 on one light and an oil change.

Not sure what the mans problem was but he sure was not very friendly. I pulled up he said what do u need and I told him a oil change he asked for my mileage and went on with his business showed me that the oil was full, was going to fill the windshield cleaner but I told him he didnt have to do that because I have cleaner to put. Did not check anything else because he said I had a lot of maintenance work done earlier (a couple of years ago I did). Had to ask him to check my air in the tires. Didnt check the back lights at all. This place is always a hit and miss place for service I think it is time to find a new place to go

Extremely overpriced now for an oil change. Had to pay 96 for my. Oil change when I couldve paid about 68 at a different place. No longer post their prices on their wall, which is disappointing to say the least.

I was a loyal customer to the 28th street Big Rays and thought I would try Alpine. I will NOT be going back. I asked for the $25 oil change and ended up with a $50 oil change after I specified what I wanted. I was clear on my request and he used technical terms that I didnt recognize to twist it and get me to agree. I ended up paying double what I expected and requested. My husband had a similar experience about a month later and ended up with an $80 bill after they completed a service that they did without running it by him first and then of course needed to be compensated for what they did. DONT GO HERE!

I like this place and most of the staff. Matt helped me a lot today to make me feel OK with what may be a tranny problem that may not be as bad as I think. He made some suggestions and listened so nicely. I rarely go to the same oil change place twice...until I discovered this place. The driveway is a bit steep though.

I hate going to oil change places in the first place they are pushy and rude. I was in need of a oil change and didnt have time to do it myself so I went here. NEVER AGAIN! They tried oved charging me for oil, making up things that were wrong with my car(I know that they were lying because my dad has been an ASE mechanic for over 10 years and keeps my car in perfect driving condition. Even he laughed when I told them what they said.), they even charged me for a new oil filter when it was supposed to be included in the price of the oil change. If I would have noticed it before I left I would have said something. Over all these guys are a complete rip off and its even worse if your a woman, then they assume you dont know anything about cars and use scare tactics to get you to spend more money.

They advertise 19.99 oil changes, but when you go in they tell you that you need the synthetic oil and other services like transmission, fuel system, etc. I know in some cases this is true, but these guys are not mechanics and shouldnt be doing anything to your car beyond the oil service.

I visit the Alpine location and the service and the employees are great.

Always great friendly service and they didnt make me feel like i had to buy unwanted items.
