My father dropped his vehicle off in the morning before he went to work. An associate called him after the work was completed. Told my father that his vehicle was, and they would be open until 7:00pm tonight.So please why is it 7:00pm and my father is not able to get his vehicle. Instead there is a note on the door saying that due to no work they closed their doors….So now I have to come stop what I’m doing and take him home. We live in Hampton, Virginia. This is unacceptable.

They were simply amazing with how short-staffed they were. I dont know the mechanics name, but Ariel at the service desk was absolutely perfect. I know with the 200 customers they had today, she truly cared, doing everything she could for both me and the other 200 customers. The wait was well worth it!

Quite an experience. You walk in hand the clerk your car keys and wait and relax. Later you are called and explain the work the car needs, You authorize it and wait some more while you watch a movie. An hour later you are given back your keys, you pay the bill with a smile and leave. No Fuss No Huff.

Two stars bc of the nice people working the front counter, scheduled to have my tires replaced at 8 AM, tires I requested were unavailable so they price matched a new set of tires which didn’t fit on my car. Had to get a different set which were more expensive than the first two. still waiting 3 hours after arrival.

Had inspection done and it did not take long at all. Have also had repairs done and have always been pleased.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation, and overall vehicle check. The technicians CORRECTLY diagnosed a problem with my power steering pump. The technician ran into some issues when replacing the pump, but Sunnie and the team kept me informed on the problem and timeline. I ultimately had to leave the car overnight, but they offered me a discount for the inconvenience and continued to keep me updated on the progress. The car was ready immediately the next morning. I cannot say enough about Sunnies customer service and the way she handled the issues we ran into. The way they did business was refreshing and transparent. I just tried to get my tires rotation and speed balanced all four tires that I bought from them. And Sunny told me that I would have to drop it off and she can get to it later, or they have a Monday appointment but today is Friday at 9:45am.So please tell me why I need to drop it off when it should only take 35mins to do this for a customer who already spent $745 on tires from them.This tells me the company doesnt care about the customer but just wants that first payment for the product.

Was told I would be in and out in 1.5 to 2 hours. When I arrived they were upset with me and the tech I spoke with for quoting me at the turn around time. So I was quoted at a price of $155 for one tire. I find it hard to believe that a tire store like firestone only has 1 tire size. TMy vehicle isnt an odd tire size. Definitely glad I didnt have any work there.

I came to the shop for just four new tires. That’s all I requested. When asked, I told them that I wanted to keep my old tires. Hours later I got a call stating that my oil needed to be changed with high mileage oil bc the truck had 200k miles - wrong, newer motor was installed and the oil was fine. Then he says the transmission oil was low and needed to be added- wrong again, I’m a retired mechanic and all the fluids are always up to par. Then he says it’s leaning to one side but the alignment is fine, he can correct it for $100 - wth! I brought my truck home and rechecked all the fluids. Now I have to add an extra quart of oil, and my transmission fluid was filled to the very top! They will never get my business again and I will make sure that the surrounding communities are aware of their underhanded practice.

Completed the service repairs sooner than I waa quoted for that day the staff was very friendly. I recommend this location to others.

Guy at the front was very straightforward in saying inspections are first come first serve. Was I greeted with a welcoming smile? No. Did I feel like I wanted to tell my friends and family to get work done on their vehicle here. No. Its okay to not have availability, but staff there need to realize word of mouth travels far and hospitality even farther. Be nicer and smile more! Your not the only place that fixes cars! Just saying. I went to Speedys and gave them my buisness. Same day service!

Had better deals than the competition which were offered to me without me having to find them. Would have given them 5 stars but they did not call to let me know my car was ready so I ended up getting it a couple of hours later than I could have.

In the middle of a pandemic, they offer no discounts for service. Not even to take a fraction of the diagnostic to apply towards the actual work which many many shops are doing. I recommend supporting your local shops who were affected majorly and will work with customers instead of trying to dig in your pockets.

Great service!! Our entire family takes their cars to the Firestone on Providence and Military Hwy for better than 4 years now. They have cleaned up others mistakes and totally earned our trust. There is no one else that I want to work on my car.

Today I had an appointment for 11am and my car didnt move from the spot I put it in until 12:15. I know because I grabbed a bite to eat across the street at Nicks Diner and was looking out the window to see if it moved yet. Plus the service manager Eric told me he would not stop working on another car to get mine in. But I said why make appointments if your not gonna honor them. He said just to get them in the store. This is a very dishonest and not trustworthy place. This place will lie just to get you here. The only great mechanic they have is a guy named Andy. Do not come here, unless you are only stuck in front of the building.

Worst place for AC repair. I’ll never recommend anyone to go here because the manager is so rude and unfriendly.They told me the AC will get fixed if we do a evacuate and recharge. They charged me $170 for it and it made no difference.Then they told me it needs a receiver dryer change. Also said it may fix the issue but we are not sure.When I asked for the refund they said we will remove the freon that we charged in your car. And then will give you the refund.I would never recommend anyone to go there.

The store manager was very helpful in selecting a smooth riding and quiet set of tires for my wifes car at a good price point. The tech noticed an abnormal wear pattern in one of the old tires during installation and upon further inspection found the alignment to be slightly off. The store manager called back with this information and I approved the repairs. The car was ready for pick-up at the time quoted and rides and drives great. I cant say enough good things about my experience here! Definitely will return for future automotive needs.

Rude. Pulled up with a flat that just happened, immediately yelled at to park away from the bays and not offered any assistance. You get 2 stars only for the decent employee at the front desk who was kind enough to put air in my tires so I could take my business elsewhere. I intend to keep it that way.

I brought my car into firestone about two weeks ago for some new tires, I don’t know much about tires. So luckily, Scott was very informative and kind in explaining the differences between the different choices! I feel I got a great set of tires, without breaking the bank, with road hazard! 🙌🏻 Chad, the technician who did the tire change, was very kind and polite, explaining why I had been having problems with pulling and vibration with my old worn out tires. Thank you guys so much! I’m always weary of going into shops as a female, but you guys were awesome!

My friend told me about the service at this Firestone and how great it is. I was not disappointed. Adrian had me in and out with no problems. They are more than accommodating, friendly, and beat the estimate I received from a dealership - I actually saved $130! I hate going to auto repair shops for the usual reasons, but Adrian and the team here really build trust from the moment you step into the lobby. They are courteous and professional, and I wouldnt trust anyone else with servicing my vehicle.

They don’t respect customers time. When I made an appointment, I was told oil change could take an hour, they completed in 3 hours. They told me that I need an alignment after 2:30 hours I’ve been waiting. They didn’t touch my car for almost 2 hours, without telling me anything. They never let me know about progress and status of my car. This place is nightmare, I would never go there again

My husband uses this location to work on his vehicle. Theyve always been friendly and completely honest with him. They give all up front costs. No hidden fees and they go the extra mile to make sure you are happy and safe in your vehicle.

Friendly staff from start to finish. I had a flat around 3pm, got an appointment same day and got the car back after about an hour and a half. Even though I was the reason they had to stay late, they all had smiles wished me a good day, and were professional. My wife needs tires for her car and we now know where were going for them.

My initial review was deleted so I shall post it again. I should have posted this as soon as I left but I had too much to do. I am not a customer, but I was in this morning with a friend who was getting his car serviced. I was in the restroom when I heard a young lady come in to pick up her vehicle and someone at the desk asked her if she had heard something that another employee had said about her. The young lady said no and proceeded about her day. This is not a conversation that you should have in the business sector, but you should handle that on your own time. When I exited the restroom, no one was at the business counter, so I could not make a remark.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Didnt try to make me have an unnecessary service. Even help me with my tires after my service call. 😊 Ill use them again.

The staff was really nice. On a day when everything feels like its going wrong...they did their best to make us comfortable.The prices, though! Whew. Be prepared to spend. I was here for battery/alternator issues. My car literally cut off as I pulled in. A few days later I was able to drive it away...less the fee. My car was always on the more expensive side to fix, though. This place is a little overpriced at the same time.

Went for two tire and a front end alignment. I was up sold to the lifetime frontend alignment, which I thought was a good deal. The people at the desk were really nice! The one problem was Firestone never aligned my vehicle. I called and they offered an apology and told me to bring it back. Im not sure if its incompetence or just a rip off, no matter Im done with Firestone.

After they tried to charge us 100 bucks for an oil filter that cost 45 bucks from the dealership, they decided that they would fail our state inspection because a tire had a nail that they said could not be fixed. They wanted to charge us over 200 bucks for a tire that cost 100 bucks. We got the tire fixed at another store who said fixing it was well in specs. This place wants nothing but as much money as they can scalp you for! If I could give it zero stars I would!!

Short story about my experience at this Firestone location. I live in Greensboro NC and was meeting family in Virginia Beach as we prepared for our long haul to northern Pennsylvania. I was due for an oil change and figured since I would be leaving my car for the weekend anyway, I might as well drop it off to get serviced killing two birds with one stone. I received a phone call from Scott on Saturday informing me that the my tires were very worn on the inside edges and needed replacement. He also mentioned that he would check my alignment and make adjustments if necessary so this wouldn’t happen again. Since I knew I was getting close to needing them, I gave him the ok as long as I could have it ready by Sunday. ‘No problem’ he says without missing a beat.Now here is where this facility set itself miles beyond expectations. I showed up Sunday around 1 o’clock to pick up my car. Everything is great and I’m ready to make my wonderful 4 hour drive home. So my dumb ass pulls out of the lot and hops the curb blowing out my back right tire ‘not my finest moment’. I limp back into the lot remembering that Scott had explained and sold me the tire protection program the day prior, now I’m hoping that it had moron coverage. I came inside and was greeted ‘once again’ by Bill who asked me if everything was alright. I explained what had just happened and was hoping that he might be able to help me out. Immediately he has a young man ‘I believe his name was Yaz’ come outside with him and they assess the damage. They informed me that the tire had to be replaced, it WAS covered, but unfortunately they sold me the last 4 they had. Just before I start stressing how I’m gonna get back to Carolina, Bill tells me that Yaz is about to head to a neighboring store to pick up the tire for me...Now that is fantastic service!!! Between Scott, Bill, and Yaz, these guys are a shining example of customer service and I can only hope that I get treated half this good and the Firestone shop near my home. The service and parking is terrible. They dont offer courtesy services that many the other mechanics offer. The front desk guy gave me my inspection paper and didnt explain anything at all about what I needed and what was recommended. It seems like they are about just making money

From Krystal making an appointment a happy time, the very kind men who greeted and advised me and then returned my car in much better condition: I could not sing their praises more highly. A very positive experience.

My husbands car was not turning on. The lights and navigation were working but the engine wasnt turning over. I did some research and told my husband to jump the car. It worked and got him back home. He immediately took it to Firestone (a company he thought to be reputable) but when they told us what we would have to do it did not sound right to me. They told us the alternator was overcharging the battery and shorting the battery. Both will have to be replaced and because it is in an unusual place the AC will have to be drained and the manifold will have to be taken a part. Then when put back together the AC will have to be refilled. Oh and the back tires need to be replaced. With military discount the price was still $1100. I told my husband to get his car. I called up RK Chevy a company I have used many times before, found some coupons for battery replacement and they gave us an estimate for a little over $700 without the coupons and or military discount. When we picked it up from Firestone they said theyd be willing to match the price without even asking for the paperwork from the other place. We took the car to RK Chevy and they ran the tests over again and found the battery was the only thing that needed to be replaced. The car was otherwise in great shape. The cost is only $140. I feel like Firestone was trying to take my husbands money. I will tell everyone I know never to go there because they are thieves. I would give them no stars but this site will not let me.

Okay, I bring in my car because I have a VERY slow leak,( I put air in twice in 2 weeks and it was only somewhat low at that time) Im told twice that if it can be repaired it will be $28.00 and when I left that gave me the feeling it was NOT going to be fixable. Sure enough we get a call a few hours later and we are told that it cant be fixed because he found 2 nails in it. I looked before bringing it in and didnt see where the leak was coming from, must have missed the nails in it...We were told it was going to be $200.00 and they were not going to put the same brand on. They were told to put the tire back on and we would shop around, Yep, you guessed it, they took out the nails and now it cant be driven at all unless we put the spare small tire on it. to put the same tire on that we had they found one and will be doing it for $230.00. I feel truly ripped off. This is the one on the corner of Military Hwy and Providence.

Dropped my van off the night before for state inspection...wasnt ready for pick up until 430 pm, I needed 2 light bulbs replaced to pass at $2.99 a piece and labor at $12.00 a piece, no discount at all during these hard times with this pandemic could have at least dropped the bulb prices or the labor prices or only charged half it was already hard enough to get in to get the inspection as it was!!
