My elderly mother shops this location regularly and loves the convenience and the variety of products offered for sale. Unfortunately, she had a terrible experience July 17, 2021, Saturday between 9am-9:30am. Two store employees were busy stocking shelves. My mother called out for check-out service (she is unable to navigate self-checkout.) The team member who responded to my mothers call for help verbally assaulted her, refused to assist with check-out, then shouted at my mother she would not permit her to purchase the items in her shopping cart and that my mother must vacate the store immediately.The second team member and a young woman who was shopping at the time came to my mothers aid but the experience was very frightening for my mother, leaving her trembling with difficulty speaking. My hope is this review will be brought to the attention of a supervisor so that he or she may further investigate my mothers allegations. I am out of state so unable to visit the store to speak with a manager. I do extend thanks to the second team member and the young shopper who came to my mothers aid.

Honestly I have not been to Dollar General that often since covid. But there are things there that you can not get other places. And I have missed the store. I was able to find everything I needed and then some. Like always when I go there. The best thing about it is the self check out. I use that at every store. But they never had that option. I was able to check in and out quickly.

Clean and organized store which is a lot to be said about a $ Store in the MOV. Usually, almost always, a polite and welcoming feeling from the clerks. 7 out of 10 would recommend.

I like dollar general they have just about anything you need from grocery to makeup. Sometimes you get really good deals to.

Very slow workers. Never seems to be anyone working the register. Thank God for the new self checkout.

I go here a lot because of its convenient location to my home in Vienna. Only real complaint would be that the store just seems way to small for everything.

Rudest cashier ever! Her name is Ryan she claims she is the manager and she literally shouted me down during a very simple transaction. I have never experienced anything like this ever, anywhere! I’m done with this store it’s awful!!!!!!

If Id have known about the products they sell in this store years ago, Id have so much more money to my name today! I dont know how they do it but they sell the same products you can find in other stores for a much greater value. Not only that but you will also find products there that is amazing that you will NOT find in other stores unless youre lucky and/ore have to hunt it down, plus it has the feel of a really warm friendly family atmosphere in there too.

This is a brand new Dollar General, my team did the new store build. And the location is great for the locals. Ha a great time while we were there. Topsail, Surf City!!!

Just went in real quick to burn some time and get a drink. Workers who werent at register were busy getting products to the shelves.

Remodeling....aisles full of carts...could not get into mostsections

They had sale signs up and after taking them to check-out I was informed that the sale ended the day before! Not right, they should have had to honor the sign!

For a little place it stocks a lot. Store is clean but they dont sanitize carts.
