Have dealt with numerous “tree guys” over the past 25 years and none I would rehire, until now. Recommended by MRT in Venice, figured I couldn’t go wrong. Wow, wow and wow.From the first phone call to their very organized email follow up and confirmation system, I was impressed. The arborist, (YES professional arborist) Ed arrived early AND blew me away with his knowledge. Received Tree “101, 201” and more....couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. They immediately followed up with the proposal as discussed and scheduled a time.The crew showed up (again early) and they didn’t have to touch a tree to tell they were at another level-these were not your average tree guys! Helmets, professional logo clothing and gear-wow, are we in SW Florida? Trimmed my laurel oak and pepper trees, just wish I had more work for them to do! The team even took blowers and blew out my backyard, not even a trace they were there other than perfect trimmed trees! On the job was Ed the owner-totally impressed with he and his team, I will be calling them again soon and recommending them to everyone I know! The follow up email to make sure I was happy was the icing on the cake.

Simply the Best! This was the 1st time wed had arborists trim our camphor and oak trees, and it shows in their whole approach, knowledge and results. Joe explained exactly what they planned to do--and why. We had no idea why certain branches would be removed, others left, so it was a great lesson. A crew of 7 came out, 2-3 were certified tree climbers who could get anywhere to get the job done. (Including hanging over a large alligator in the pond under the trees...) Here 3 hours in all. It cost a bit more than tree trimmers who gave us bids but they did a lot more--and did it right. In hindsight, I realize some suggested things that would not have been good, and I didnt know the difference. We recommend them to anyone looking for a company with a talented--and personable-- crew who does quality work. We are thrilled with the results! (I hope the photo I attached opens....)

We had two tall palm trees in out front yard removed yesterday. The crew was incredibly skilled and professional. They showed up on time and dropped both trees with virtually no damage to the surrounding plantings and our driveway. Simply Trees was highly recommended to me. I selected them over other competing lower priced bids based upon their reputation. However, I found their work to be incomplete and of poor quality. I contracted with them to remove a large palm tree, grind the stump 6” below grade, and sod over the affected area. Tree removal went fine, but the tree stump was not ground below grade and the sod was haphazardly installed, leaving a large mounded area. I called management and asked for a meeting to review the results. They came out to my property and stated “we are a tree removal company, not a sod landscaper”. That’s it. No satisfaction given. I’ve hired a new company to complete the job at my expense.

My only regret is I wish I would have called them sooner! It is obvious from every person I had in contact with @ Simply Trees (from the initial phone call, to the on site consultation, thru correspondence via email and then the actual day of work with the tree crew) that each person took a great deal of pride in their job and their company. I had seen their trucks making the rounds in my neighborhood and there is a reason for that - word of mouth is very positive when a company does quality work from start to finish.

I had a mishap pruning a large oak in my backyard. After my recovery, I told my wife that I wanted Simply Trees to come in and finish the job for my Christmas present. They just got done and i couldn’t be happier! The oak is far more healthier and the war between the oak and the palms is over for now. Provisions were made for our roosting Night Herron....find me a tree trimming company who puts that consideration into the task!

I am grateful to Simply Trees for the work they did on my trees. They were professional, timely, and communicated well. I needed two oak trees removed that were growing too close to my roof. I am totally happy with my experience dealing with Simply Trees. I called them on a Tuesday and they were at my house that Friday to give me an estimate for the pruning, and/or removal of a large tree that presented problems for my roof. Amber arrived just when their office said that I could expect her. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable but also very pleasant and personable. I could tell she was a straight shooter and trustworthy. The pricing was right in line with what I had anticipated, so I felt comfortable having them do the work. When I mentioned I would be heading back to Oregon by the end of the following week, she got me on the schedule for that Monday. Once again, the crew showed up right when I was told that they would be there. This was so refreshing to find a business that actually does what they say they are going to do, showing up when they say that they will. Couldnt be happier with the work done by ACI tree service. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices. I hired them to remove two large queen palms, a few overgrown palmetto patches and to clear a 10 foot border of invasive jungle behind my fence line in the no mans land that borders my property. The work done went above and beyond my expectations. I found a few more small projects along the way....Can you grind a stump here? Remove a plant there? No worries, weve got it! All I can say is WOW! Simply Trees has to be one of the best companies that I have ever dealt with. I own several real estate properties so I am constantly dealing with electricians, plumbers and other maintenance professionals. In my opinion, Simply Trees sets the benchmark for all professionals. From the first consultation I had with Amber at our house, through the follow up correspondence and the actual job performed by the outstanding crew and even the follow up after the job was done was truly remarkable. We had a palm tree that was pretty close to our house and the upper portion of the tree got weak and was starting to fall off in the direction of the house. We thought it would snap off and damage the roof, spouting and the fascia. My neighbor across the street had used these guys for a job a few years ago and we got the contact info from them. The evening we noticed it it was already dark outside and probably 8-8:30 but we went ahead and called and left a voice mail with a brief description of what we had. I got a phone call first thing the next morning from the contact at the office. She had explained to me what the process is and made an appointment for the estimator to come by. Got an estimate very quickly like the same day quick with a formal detailed estimate and pricing. The signing of the paperwork was very easy on line and a date was made for the actual job to be completed. The entire process went absolutely the way she describe to me from the very first phone call we had. The palm was removed the stump was ground and everything was hauled away, very clean work. I had spent a couple minutes with the tree removal crew as well as the stump grinding fellow and both crews were polite and professional too. So the whole process was very good and would recommend to anyone looking for a tree company that actually explains the process and then will do what they said. Thanks

After struggling to find a competent tree service in recent years, I am very happy with my recent work with Simply Trees. They know their craft and take a real interest in doing a good job. Big job- removal of large oak tree in fenced in back yard. Tree over hung the house and power lines. They guided us through the permitting process as well as contacting FPL for trimming of limbs that were overhanging power lines. They arrived when stated and their crew is AMAZING. They had the right equipment for the job (could fit in tight spaces)and their skill with the ropes, their equipment and their teamwork was impressive. We would highly recommend Simply Trees to anyone.

I can not say enough positive things about this company from start to finish! They were prompt in calling me back, made scheduling easy, confirmed apts, they were on time, communication was clear during the walkthru/quote and they put it all in writing too. They even provided a copy of their proof of insurance/liability/etc...Extremely professional and the price was very reasonable. It was amazing to see them work. They carefully cut and and cleared limbs from the power line to my house and cut several trees on the property. Our oak trees are beautiful, happy and have been doing so well through all the rain and high winds weve had lately. We didnt even realize that one of our trees had been damaged by Irma, wed only noticed the limbs around our yard that had landed on the ground. Excellent, knowledgeable staff who worked around our schedule to remove a diseased palm while we were coordinating schedules with landscapers and fighting heavy rains. The only glitch was realizing that they actually subcontract their stump grinding to a guy who does excellent work but also works full time at another job, which threw another monkey wrench in the scheduling process and caused our landscapers to have to come back and finish the job after the stump was ground. All in all, great people and quality work.

These folks seemed to parachute in from overhead with pencils behind their ears and chainsaw holsters. They assessed our giant ficus post-Irma, worked out the cuts with laser pointers, showed up on time and stayed till it was done and cleaned up. Think adrenaline junkies with brains and a work ethic.

Great people! They removed a very large (~60ft) bischofia that had become a nuisance, and did it in about two hours for about $400 less than I had been quoted by another company. The price included stump grinding, and there was very little debris left for me to clean up. Everybody was lovely to deal with, and the fudge brownies were an unexpected treat afterwards! I will definitely call on Simply Tree for future tree trimming, as I still have two oak trees to care for. I recommend them very highly!

Amber and her crew are knowledgeable and professional and I will use them again if they are affordable. There were some problems with damage to my neighbors property which they acknowledged and addressed immediately altho the clean up and repair of the damage are still to come. Their work crew left cups and drinking containers behind on the neighbors property too. So be sure to check thoroughly for this sort of thing before they depart.I had work done at a second location and was not happy with the damage to my recently re-sodded lawn. But to be fair, Amber did warn it it might happen due to the weight of their machinery. They brought sheets of plywood to protect the lawn but unfortunately not enough.

Knowledgable, timely, and professsional. Unlike basic tree services, that cut and go, Amber took the time to explain what is best for the health and growth of the trees, before any cutting was done. I really appreciated that the team cleaned up thoroughly, when they were done. Team members were clean cut, and professional!

Just had the worst and most traumatic experience with a local tree company. Apparently, this week just isn’t getting any better.I live in an area with lots of homeless people unfortunately. It happens, they walk down the road etc. They are homeless and mostly drunks, fixtures of this area ever since I moved here 10 years ago.Anyway, I took off work today for a tree removal company to come out and trim back one of my oak trees. This appointment was booked months ago, with a deposit down. I have to have the tree cut by September due to homeowner insurance/hurricane preparedness regulations. So this appointment was important to me, and I took off work for this.I knew something was off a week ago when they contacted me with a reminder with the wrong appointment date. I clarified that the work was supposed to be done on July 2, and screenshotted the convo I had with the owner, showing that that was the original plan. They apologized and said they would not be able to do it for that day, and it would have to be July 3. I explained okay well I already took off for the 2nd, but I’ll ask for time off for the 3rd.My work granted approval and everything was fine. They show up today, 2 hours early with no notice, no phone call or anything. I was JUST getting home from my dermatologist appointment. I was like oh, it looks like you are here a lot earlier than expected. They then say they had some sort of confrontation with a homeless person who walked up to them while I was gone. I said I’m so sorry, we do have homeless people in this area. It’s Osprey, there are a lot of homeless people here unfortunately. They said they were fine now and I asked if they needed anything. They said no and started working. They were polite and I told them if they needed my ladder they could use it etc.Then all of a sudden, I get a frantic call fromThe owner, saying that a gun was pulled on them. (I can’t make this stuff up). I immediately freak out because at this point I think there’s someone outside my house with a gun. I walk outside and everything is calm, they are packing up and leaving. I asked them why, since they seemed fine and did not communicate to me that anything was still amiss. They said we just got the call that we have to leave. So they literally made up a story about someone pulling a gun on them, on my property, to get out of the job. Literally I’m speechless and beyond upset.I’m in tears and am just so confused as to why they did that. It’s one thing to leave a job if you don’t feel safe because you run into a homeless person, it’s ENTIRELY another thing to claim a gun was pulled. I’m very upset, they didn’t call the cops, so I don’t know what actually happened, but it’s looking like they just wanted out of the job. I guess this is how my day is going to go? Seriously I’m in shock. This just happened an hour ago. Still processing it.
