Selecting flooring is never easy. Troy, consultant in Vancouver’s Location, made our project seamless. From the time we first walked in to placing our final payment, Troy was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Within 48 hours, he was out measuring our house. After placing our deposit, within days we were scheduled for installation. Cairon and the gang were respectful and experienced installers. They even made a concerted effort to vacuum and clean dust before leaving! Yes, Paulson’s‘s took the edge off the stress of our flooring project. Our floors were completed within 30 days of placing our deposit… During Covid! And the bottom line price? $1000 less than other competitors for the same product! We love our new hardwood floors. I would gladly recommend and use Paulsons again for any home improvement project!

I had a fantastic experience at Paulsons. I went in and talked with Troy. He was very knowledgable and was able to answer all of my questions. We then worked with Joel who scheduled our tiling. The process was seamless. They did the demo and install which made my life easy. I wanted a vintage feel in our bathroom with the tile since our place is old (with a very 90s bathroom) and now looks just like I pictured. I had a clear vision of what I wanted (which was not super basic) when I walked in and they were able to execute perfectly. We put in new tile and replaced all of the carpet throughout our house. My wife called the store and talked to Troy Wright, who set up a time to come in and show us what flooring would work for us. He was very professional and easy to work with. He helped us match colors and then came out to our house to take measurements and set us up with a quote using high quality materials and was right in our price range.The installers were right on time and did a great job , finishing quicker than estimated and cleaned up their mess when they were finished.We were very pleased with Troys experience and helpfulness during the process. I recently purchased flooring at Paulsons. Tim who helped me out was great. He guided me through everything and was thorough from initial conversation to pickup. I would recommend this company of you find flooring you like. They installed previous flooring of mine and also did a good job with install.

I needed help matching existing hardwood flooring that was installed several years ago. I approached Paulsons after another flooring place in town told me that I wouldnt be successful in my search. They were wrong! Troy Wright searched high and low and ended up finding me several samples that were a close match, including an exact match by a different manufacturer. The floors have been installed and look fabulous. Paulsons did exactly what they said they would do and followed through on every detail.

What a great overall experience. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and didnt try and talk us into more than we needed. In fact he talked us down to the right carpet for our pets and our needs. Installation had one hiccup but they were very quick to take care of it the same day. A+ for service and quality.

I have worked with Troy at Paulson’s for two different projects in the past few months. I was struggling to get someone to follow through and complete the projects and Troy came to the rescue. Troy quickly came out for a measure and the project was scheduled and completed in very good time. My installer was also amazing and did everything I needed to have done with great skill and follow through.

I am SUCH an easy customer to work with! Haha, nope! I hassled Troy about fiber sourcing and hardwood conversion and carpet pad content and tortured him in just about any way you might imagine you could irk a carpet salesperson. Thankfully, Troy handled my job with patience and humor as I negotiated an out-of-state home purchase. He had my house re-carpeted within a narrow window of time I gave him between close of escrow and when we rolled up to our new crib. I was very happy with service and communication provided by Troy at Paulsons.

We had a flood in our home and had to replace the floors in our entry, hallway, family room and kitchen.Ron at Paulson’s Vancouver location was such a huge help! He is so knowledgeable and gave input to help us make the right decisions on which type of flooring, the color and design. We had some technical issues from the way the flooring had been installed years ago and he came up with a perfect solution too!What could have been a stressful situation was made very stress free and straight forward. We even had Paulson’s complete more areas to match up other rooms too.And the high quality of the flooring and installation are unbeatable!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Troy and the guys that installed our new floors. Troy was super helpful with picking out a product that would both fit our budget but also hold up to 2 enormous dogs and twin toddlers. And the instal team was not only punctual but did the most amazing job. They not only tarped off our kitchen insanely well they left our house cleaner than when they got here. All of the staff I worked with did an excellent job. Scheduling was clearly communicated to me. They made it very easy to schedule the plumber to reset toilets and sinks. The installers did an amazing job. They were very respectful of my home. They moved appliances for me. They arrived promptly each day of the install. They were very good at cleaning up at the end of each day. I highly recommend this company. Will definitely do business with them in the future! Thank you for a positive experience!

Update: We got a follow-up call from Paulsons and they made things right, which is all anyone could ask for.The experience of working with Troy and Ron in the Vancouver store was very good. We have no issues whatsoever with the sales experience. Both were polite, helpful, and professional in every way.The installation is a different story. The installation of the flooring was fine, no issues. We reported a gouge in our hardwood floor which appeared to have occurred during installation and never heard back from Paulsons whether it was of concern at their end. Were cant prove the installers did it, but we hadnt noticed it prior to their being in our home. We also noticed another gouge by our front door and were going to group it with the other one as far as not knowing for sure if the installers did it.Of more serious concern is a leak by the toilet in our downstairs bathroom which was reported by the installer. We were aware of no leak prior to the installer being in our home and realized that the leak may have been caused by the installer, as it was at the toilet water feed valve and the installer had removed the toilet as part of the flooring installation. There is no way we can directly link the leak to the installer and this will end up being like the gouges: cause unclear. What we know for sure is were going to have to pay to remove and replace some of the flooring in the bathroom because there is water underneath and we cant leave it there.All in all, what happened during the installation has left a very bad taste for us. Again, we cant point a finger with certainty but also cant say we feel good about how things went down. Folks need to be aware that these sorts of things can happen when services are performed and try to take steps to avoid them.The last thing we want to say here is we let Paulsons know up front that we were going to post reviews as above. We never heard back from them and so are left with the impression that they either discounted our concerns or didnt care one way or the other. This only further reinforces our disappointment with Paulsons.

Excellent options, great service to help you out things together.UPDATE : VERY dissatisfied. Disappointed in follow through. Stairs not done as we asked. They said they would fix and then did not. Shower tile has some of the wrong /different colored tile mixed in from down stairs bath. They will not fix. They dont return calls. Worst customer service ever.

The installation of Paulsons products is embarrassing. The workmanship from Paulsons was the worst that I have ever experienced, even after decades of owning and repairing rental units. From flooring to countertops to tile, their installation and consideration regarding damage to the area around them as they worked set a new low. While their website may show how to videos, apparently their installers do not have access to them and neither follow those processes or the written recommendations of the material manufacturers.If you want a poorly executed flooring, bath or kitchen project that will take an unusually long amount of time to accomplish then Paulsons will certainly supply you with that unsavoury experience

Had an appointment set up with Home Depot for them to measure our flooring need but did not have a good feeling about so i stopped in and talked to Ron, he was super helpful and was able to take my measurements I gave him and give us a quote. We cancelled our appointment with Home Depot and i am glad we did because we ended up with better carpet for virtually the same price. Scheduling the install was great they worked around when we wanted it done. Installers were great, they were quick and did a great job. We will definitely do business with Paulsons again.

These guys are the best. They were great to work with, their installation was excellent and they had the best price of anyone we spoke with. I will use them again and recommend that anyone needing flooring work do the same. I wish I could give them 6 stars.

High Quality carpet and luxury vinyl tile with good installers. Install scheduling was easy and followed up with a call the day before to insure all was ready. Installers called about an hour out. Great job and good work. Estimator, Ron Meyer, was a good help on selections and ideas.

I’m very happy with Paulsons, we purchased some laminate flooring from them in 2013 and we needed a couple more boxes of it recently because of some water damage caused by our fridge and they still had the exact flooring available to order, very pleased with the service and will definitely go back again.

Had tile placed in kitchen about 1 year ago. Done in a diamond pattern.It looks great. No complaints although not cheap. I also had a bathroomLaundry room done with vinyl planking and the job was very good.I redid my other bathroom in the exact same planking material and didit myself. Much cheaper and I did just as good a job as the installers did.However it took me 12-15 hours whereas Paulson installers did theother area in 2 hours. Paulsons sold me the materials with no hassleand I am very pleased with them. I would recommend them for topquality work and service.

We purchased flooring and installation and the work was not done well. When trying to get them to fix issues they were rude. I would not recommend using Paulson in Vancouver.

Troy at Vancouver Paulsens was our contact. Our experience with Paulsens was absolutely excellent. We choose Karastan carpet and quartz counter tops. Every step of this process was so professional from measuring our spaces to choosing from samples for our products. Everything was done on time by experienced professional installers. We could not be more pleased with our products now that they are all installed. If you are looking for a job well done check out Paulsens!!

We worked with Ron Meyer. We cant say enough good things about our experience with Paulsons and Ron. Ron was professional and followed thru on his promises and details. Communications were prompt and accurate. He was very helpful before, during and after the project. We had to coordinate the early planning of this project from the east coast. Our realtor let Ron into our new Vancouver home to measure and we were able to get tentative installation plans and costs projections before we arrived in Vancouver to make the final selections.We purchased a 25 year old house and replaced the flooring throughout the house. We chose Luxury Vinyl Plank (Dakota Walnut wood look) for most of the house, Luxury Vinyl Tile (marble look) for the bathrooms/laundry and Karastan carpet for the master bedroom. Our timing was somewhat tight. I was coordinating the flooring installation along with the painter who was painting all interior surfaces. Ron was able to meet the planned installation dates and was able to flex when necessary. The installers were good craftsmen and did a very good job. The job site was left clean.Were very happy with our material selections. The Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) and Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) are waterproof and are easy to clean and maintain. So, we dont have to worry about the grandkids or the granddog messing up the flooring and we dont have to be so careful in the laundry or bathrooms.Immediately after the installation we noticed what appeared to be small puddles of glue on a few of the LVPs in the Living Room. We called Ron. He came over and suggested we use Goo Gone. The spots cleaned up easily - a testament to the durability of the LVP.Near the end of the installation we were unhappy with the look of a color choice we had made initially for our master bedroom, bathroom, closet area. The area was an odd floor layout and we thought wed made the best choice. But once things were installed it became obvious we needed to redo a small section of the floor. Ron worked with us to change the materials. Even though the changes took more time Ron was fair with us pricing out the changes.Weve been in the house almost 6 months. Recently we accidentally tracked in a small amount of a black. greasy, powdery substance onto the LVP and 3 dime-sized spots on the almond colored carpet. The LVP cleaned up to new condition pretty easily. I tried the written procedure Karastan provided for the carpet and improved the carpet stains. I called Ron and he suggested a professional carpet cleaner. The recommended carpet cleaner was professional and left the carpet looking like new.Our project was not a simple one. Our early encounters with Ron were by phone and email. He quickly gained our trust and made our project go smoothly. Wed highly recommend Paulsons & Ron Meyer.

They are great until you buy the product but if you have a problem they do not come through. Terrible customer service and install. They will lie to you and let the manufacturer weasel out of any warranty with the claim of WATER DAMAGE.

Ron and Troy helped us work within our budget. My husband and I are both teachers, so Ron worked hard to complete our order and install in record time so that my husband and I could complete our remodel prior to the end of summer.
