This guy is amazing! Second time I’ve used his services and will go back again. Took our entire set of kitchen knives (15 of them) and he turned them around in less than 48 hours. They were mind-blowing sharp, and wrapped with my safety in mind. I’ve not used his pick-up/delivery service, as he’s only about 5 miles from me. And to make it even better, his prices are awesome!

I had been struggling to sharpen my knives for months and saw that Eliot was at the Vancouver Saturday Market. There I spoke with Eliot and took his cards. The process of dropping off my knives at their location was easy! I dropped my knives off and filled in my information and 12 hours later I got a text saying how much I owed and that my knives were ready and “wicked sharp”! Dropped off my money, which was $24 for 4 knives and definitely worth it! Got them home and was impressed by how he had wrapped them up for my safety even included a bandage just in case! These babies are sharp! I think they are sharper now then when I bought them! I will tell everyone I know about Patron Saint of Knives and will 100% never have a dull knife in my drawer!! Thank you!

I have been a customer/acolyte of Saint Eliot for years, a decade at least. He has consistently sharpened and or repaired every knife I’ve brought him and many were in pathetic shape!! He is a true craftsman artist with edges. His return packaging includes a warning and a bandaid, ignore the former and count on using the latter!! If there were a description beyond “Razor” or “surgical” in sharpness, I would use it. His prices are phenomenal and his quality unmatched. I’d swear to this.You won’t be disappointed. This is hard to explain. Im 42, ex military, very mechanical & thought I had a grip on most concepts...You hear the term Razor Sharp as you grow, so you adopt the assumption that a Razor Blade is the gold standard of how sharp something can get.Well, Those who dont know, dont know they dont know.Now I know.Knife shops used to sharpen, but they no longer exist so I searched the net to see if any store offered sharpening anymore. Thats where I found Patron St. of Knives.My Every Day Carry little $40.00 Gerber assisted open clip knife wasnt as sharp as new being as I use it a lot. It wasnt bad, just not as awesome as when new. I actually thought of just buying another.Then I found Patron Saint Of Knives, and he was fairly local. I also had a spear tip knife slated to be an optional add on to a 6 bow, so I threw that in as well even though it was brand new because I wanted the 2nd edge added.Its very rare to run across someone so good at something that they redefine an entire concept for you.The term good doesnt even do him justice. This is savant level craftsmanship that one rarely ever encounters anymore.Calling what I got back Razor Sharp would be insulting to the edges I got back. This is more along the lines of Scary Sharp... or Terrifyingly sharp works well too.As in, Im actually scared to put that spear tip on the 6 bow, and am absolutely sure to put the dog away before I practice with the bow so I dont accidentally decapitate him if he were to walk up behind me.With this edge, when I add the spear point to the bow, its pretty much like a light saber.I swiped it across the pillow back of a broken Lay-z-Boy Im getting rid of, and it just glided right through leaving a 4 deep, 1 long separation of the foam & cloth.The only thing I could compare the edge you get back to would be something in the realm of a surgical scalpel.Needless to say, Im impressed.

High expectations were fully met. What I didnt expect was the quick turnaround. I have zero complaints. The drop off/pick up system is easy to understand and use, but there are also plenty of signs to help. I will definitely bring any knife I need sharpened back here.

I delivered my mother’s collection of wood carving tools she gathered in the early 1960s. The tools were loaned to three or four of her friends. Finally given to me in really bad and abused condition around 1985. I’m now retired, got the tools out for a try and saw the conditions go the cutting edges. The tools are now FANTASTIC. Couldnt have hoped for a better experience. Four knives sharpened within 18 hours of dropping them off. One of which had a quarter inch nick out of the blade. Repair work is flawless, in addition he took the time to reshape and sharpen the tang making the knife much easier to sharpen in the future. And almost as a side note the knives are sharper now than they were when I purchased them.

He sharpened my knives like never before! Cutting through meat with ease and I dont cry anymore when chopping onions. LOLAnd heres an added bonus...I have 3 dull nippers that I havent used for ages. Thought Id bring them for sharpening. He said hed try, but the when I got them, they now work and able to cut my cuticles without making them bleed. Elliot is the master of knives indeed!!! Absolutely amazing! I dropped off my dull chef knife with a slightly broken tip just thinking it would come back sharpened. When I picked it up in its well wrapped butcher packaging and carefully opened it to notice he had even fixed the tip! I love using my favorite knife again! I would highly recommend!

I would recommend having your knife sharpened here. I had mine sharpened here. They are sharp. I like the convenience of being able to drop off the knife and picking it up. The cost is cheap unless you need more done to it. I will come back for sure.
