We had our friends super soft birthday here, basically a childs party for an adult, and they were incredibly accomodating! Decorated a pony for him to walk, we got to pet goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and went on a tiny train ride! The tables were decorated lovely and they even inflated the bounce house for us, just for appearances since we were a little too big to go in. They hung our pinata and had a bat ready, and allowed a reasonable amount of alcohol as long as we had a permit for it. There were even tiny play houses for actual children! Overall a very nice venue and a great place to have a party, definitely would book again~

My daughter attended a fantastic birthday party here and talked about it for the next 4 months until her own birthday! We celebrated her 4th birthday at Horse Haven and it was magical! The kids all had such an amazing time and even with unplanned thunderstorms the party went off without a hitch! They had a very cute little party shed for the kids to enjoy their cake and ice cream, with a fridge and sink for our use. The pony rides were so much fun and we loved the tour to see all of the animals. We highly recommend Horse Haven Farms, my daughters face lights up still when she talks about it!

Ive gone for 2 summer camps and a birthday party. Maria was absolutely amazing to be around and she truly inspired me. As I live very close by, I see the horses all the time and sometimes when the road is calm, I may even visit with the horses that are closest to the road. I fell in love with each and every animal despite watching a girl get nearly crushed by a mustang mare. Danny was such an amazing horse with a pretty easy trot. If not for a serious injury within the following week of my last summer camp visit, I would absolutely have gone for lessons. Although not being classified as Equine Therapy, this place really helped me through my PTSD and it boosted my self esteem so high. I miss all the horses so much! Thank you, Maria for changing my life. You and your horses did what none of my therapists or psychologists could do. I used to be the most shy, timid and quite honestly afriad-of-the-world type of girl but now (Although its been a while since Ive been here due to covid) I am open, talkative and sociable. My brother enjoyed being your little helper although I still constantly remind him that he never even got on the horse haha so once again. Thank. You. Maria. I absolutely cannot thank you enough. I only wish I could continue to ride here.

I love riding here! The ladies are great! They work really well together and actually teach all aspects of horse husbandry not just riding. I have ridden years before and I learn something new every time I go.My son LOVES it. If we stay they continue to teach those willing to watch other riders and listen. My son is learning so much more in and out of lesson vs other riding centers.I cant wait to lease and continue for both myself and my son!You gals are awesome!

I had my daughters 9th birthday party party here and the farm exceeded my expectations. Im so glad we chose this over the usual indoor park options in Vancouver. The different things to do kept the 9 year olds running the whole 3 hours we spent there. The kids got to brush the mini horse and then feed the bull & goat. The small house on the property has water, heat, a refrigerator and a long table with chairs for lunch and cake time. Im definitely going to send my girl to a week camp her this summer summer. The partygoers favorite thing? The peacock put its feathers out.

We had a birthday party here at Horse Haven Farms. It was perfect! A bunch of 7 year olds enjoyed their time playing games, petting animals and of riding a pony! The pony was well groomed and very well mannered for kids. The staff were attentive and helpful. The party room was clean and beautifully decorated. They had everything we forgot (like a knife for the 🎂) The owner was friendly and made sure my daughter and her friends had a great party. I will update review after we try a lesson :-)

The owner of this places is nothing more than a con artist. She shouldnt be around animals or children. If your children are interested in ponies or horses go to Facebooks Clark County Horse Forum, where you can ask real horse people for a reputable and safe place for your children to learn. There are so many wonderful and honest people in the Clark County horse community and the owner of this farm Is absolutely not one of them.

I had a great time but better yet the kids had a blast. For the price I had no set up or clean up. The kids got to do crafts and pet all the animals. And the kids got a good long Pony Ride.

A great experience for the whole family. The kids played in the bounce house, held and petted the animals in the petting zoo, rode a pony and rode the trackless train. The adults got to set around the fire and have hot cocoa. The prices were very reasonable for the trees and rides for the pony and train. We will for sure come back. Very cute decorations.

We chose Horse Haven Farms for my daughter’s 7th Birthday Party. Maria and her crew made everything so easy for us! We brought the cake and the birthday girl and they provided the rest: set-up, decorations, bouncy house, playhouses, hosting and, of course, ponies! Maria was wonderful at keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The kids got a real hands-on and educational experience with the ponies. I also appreciated how easy it was to stay in contact with Maria during the planning phase. She responded to our enquiries and requests in a timely manner (which can’t be easy when you’re running a farm!) The prices were reasonable and clear, and with the extra options we were able to the customize the features for our perfect party. Thank you to Maria and her family and staff. You created a wonderful memory for our family and guests!

This barn is absolutely disgusting, horses have mud up to there knees horses or ponys are never cleaned the way they are supposed to be. Horses are sitting in pasture not being worked on. the volenteers are all overworked and are as young as 10 years old And that their parents think there having a fun time but Maria makes them work all day to walk around on a horse and learn no new knowledge. Also talk about how none of the horses ever have the vet come out unless theyre dying and the horses get their feet done ounce a year (the ones that shes actually using) the rest sit there with terrible feet.

We went there today for a 6 yr olds birthday party...and although the kids had fun the helpers were nice...the barn was somewhat clean ...the property was a bit trailer trashy. Animals had not been brushed for awhile ...Looks like they have volunteers helping with the animals. Was very sad to see so many horses & ponies & donkies underweight...a few looked healthy but most were underweight showing hips & ribs ...I was told by a volunteer one was just old & one was stalled to help gain weight. We own 2 horses & know hard keepers. Months have to go by before bones show like that. They need some help with the care of their animals for sure. :(

Very sad to write this post. I was at this barn started going to kids camps when I was 7 because I was best friends with the owners granddaughters. Im not going to go into the full story but the short story is that I started meeting more people in the horse community and I realized how terribly the horses are taken care of... many horses neglected. Her volenteers are mostly the ages of 10-14. I spent all summer there and most days after school taking care of her horses being a volenteer. Im not going to sit here and say that Maria never did anything for me because she did give me many wonderful memories but all the horrible memories dont make it worth it. I started riding a horse named chunky monkey for 4-H (a horse club) I did my first competition and everything on him. My mom got tired of me having to give up my entire social life (I only got to ride my horse maybe 2 times a week volunteering.. sometimes a bit more depended on the day ) we started leasing chunky and had to pay for vet bills and special feed to get him to a healthy weight (my lease did not say anywhere that I was responsible for any bills of his) we decided to buy chunky monkey to get him away from horse haven farms also so I could actually progress as an equestrian) she tried to sell chunky monkey for a very over priced price (3x what everyone said he was actually worth) she lowered the price a little bit (still very over priced) she used the fact that I loved chunky so much to try to sell him for so much. She told me many times that if I didnt buy him she would sell him to someone else and that someone else was already looking at him to buy (found out later it was not true) we decided to not buy chunky and this broke my heart. We left there paying over $800 in bills that Maria said she would pay half back. Weve called her and texted her multiple times and she had ignored all of them. Also forgot to mention the day I took all of my horse tack from the barn that I had bought. Some if it was missing. Nothing has been returned. Please do not bring your children here go to the clark county horse forum on Facebook and say you are looking for whatever you needed from horse haven. There are many wonderful people with amazing knowledge of horses who can teach your children and they can exel as an equestrian. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I was really hoping that I would be able to leave this place in good terms. I have wasted 7 years of my life here.
