I visited Haven Spa and Pool in Vancouver twice in the last two weeks and was extremely disappointed in their service both times. I like to support the small businesses in my neighborhood even though it is easier, quicker and cheaper to order from Amazon.The first visit was to inquire about a small pool heater. The person who helped us seemed very irritated and made it clear that we were in the wrong place. We were told We dont have anything for pools that small. I chalked that visit up to the person having a bad day.We went in yesterday around 10:30 looking for a small ladder for our pool and there was a sign on the door that said that they opened at 11:00. We were peering into the window to see if they had anything on display that might work for us when someone poked their head out the window and said We are not open. We told them that we had a quick question about a pool ladder and again, the person seemed irritated to be bothered and said We dont have any that small.I will now be making my spa and pool purchases from Amazon in the future.

We just got a new wood burning insert installed by Haven and they did a great job! The whole process was simple and easy, from discussing the options at the store and purchasing it, scheduling the removal/install, and finally Kyle and Alex installing it for us. Wed definitely use them again

Very helpful with my spa issue.

I purchased my first hot tub and it was delivered 3 weeks ago from Haven Spa-Pool-Hearth in Vancouver. My knowledge about hot tubs was nil when I walked in to consider a purchase. I am very pleased with my purchase and I enjoy the hot tub every day, but it is the customer service from Haven Spa that is the motivation for writing this review. Morgan, in particular, at Haven has supported me through lots of trial and error including having to empty and move my spa because of my error in placement in order to pass inspection. They jumped in and provided support, led me through the process of refilling the tub and balancing the water again. When I messed up and let the chlorine run out which caused foam to form, once again Morgan led me through the process of taking care of that. The spa is great, the price was great and the customer service is unmatched. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Knowledgeable on pools and very helpful

We recently moved into a home that had a zero clearance wood-burning fireplace that was so small, it rendered it pretty useless. Since we knew we had a gas line running to our house, we decided to shop for a small, linear gas fireplace for the space. After visiting and pricing units at a number of different fireplace stores in and around Vancouver, we decided on a reasonably priced Enviro model that we found at Haven Spa Pool & Hearth on 9/19/20. We met with Kirk Neil who looked at our photos and the dimensions we had in hand, and walked us through our options based on our budget and our needs. At no time did he try to up-sale us which we appreciated. He then told us all about the unit we decided upon, answering all our questions. At that point, Kirk gave us a written estimate and we put down a very small deposit to have someone come to our home to get actual measurements, etc. We left the store feeling great about our choice, as well as the pricing for the unit and estimate for installation. Imagine my surprise and delight when the owner himself, Stephan, was the person who came to my home! Following that visit, pricing was confirmed and the date for installation, 10/26/29, was agreed upon. Installation day arrived and the Haven crew was here at their scheduled time. The installation of the unit was seamless from beginning to end. They were not only professional, but their attention to detail from running the gas line to framing out the area for the unit, was excellent. A few days following the install, I had a question about outside air that I was feeling around the unit. I called Haven, and within a couple of days, once again the owner, Stephan, came out to assess my concern. It was a minor issue which he himself resolved. (The fireplace tile and mantel were completed 11/28/20, by Jared of J. Tanner Tile & Stone, also a conscientious contractor who did an excellent job.) Although our room is still a work in progress, the Enviro fireplace gives us the hominess and added warmth that we were hoping for.If you’re in the market for any type of fireplace and want to purchase it from a business that is involved from beginning to end, with great customer service and response times, I highly recommend Haven Spa Pool and Hearth.

Shawn and Marshall were incredible. I needed to have my gas fireplace inspected and cleaned and Shawn was so thorough and showed me everything he did. He takes pride in his work for sure. Left no question unanswered. Marshall was great as well. She walked me through other services they offer that I will definitely use Haven when I need them.

The customer service was polite, informative, and meaningful. Every question was answered and although another customer came in, there was no rushing to finish our conversation. It was obvious quality customer service is a priority for this business.

This place has really been fantastic. Recently purchased a house with a hot tub. Never had one before. Haven was great with educating me on these things. Sam is the guy I’ve dealt with most and he is wonderful. He has all the right answers and is extremely helpful.

Great customer service!

They advertise pellet stove pellets on Craigslist for $219 a ton. When we arrived, I could see that they had at least one ton packaged outside ready to load. When I went in to purchase a ton, the owner said they were just selling by the bag until their next shipment. The bag price was considerably higher, I want to say around $255 a ton.I am not sure if this is their business practice, or if they in fact just advertise regardless if they have inventory.It was a 50 mile drive for us. When I told them we are 50 miles away, he said, sorry, thanks for coming in. They should really remove the ad when they dont have the pellets, because it looks like the bait and switch. Not cool!

Professional service from everyone for our gas fireplace insert from measuring, sales, and service. Their install crew is part of Haven, its not outsourced to another company which was a big advantage, as we had a small error in our order arriving correctly and they had to return 2 additional times to get it right. Each time, there was communication about what went wrong, what to expect, and the final install was great. Highly recommended.

From start to finish I would recommend Haven Spa Pool and Health for your pellet stove needs. We were new to the area and wanted a pellet stove for our new home. Bobby helped us decide what stove would work best for us and took care of getting it installed. It has been working great and expect it will for some time to come. If you are looking for a pellet stove, I suggest you shop around as we did, then make Havens your final stop. You will be happy that you did.

Ever since Kirk became manager at this store, the service and knowledge has increased dramatically. Kirk used to be the senior member of Haven’s technicians. He used to service our pool, installed a cover, new filter, etc, so his knowledge comes from years on the front line working on pools and spas. I used to dread going into the local Haven store, even though they were closest to my home. The previous manager could’ve cared less about service. He never got off the stool near the registers, and he always had a sour attitude. However, with Kirk there now, you have experience, knowledge, and an emphasis on the customer; the trifecta of a good experience. Now, I look forward to my trips to Haven for supplies and water testing. It’s like visiting a friend. The only drawback is since Kirk is so good, everyone wants to work with him. They just need 4 more Kirks.

We have purchased our hot tubs and accessories from Haven and have utilized them for servicing and maintenance for well over a decade now. We wouldnt go anywhere else! They are friendly and customer-focused. I recommend them frequently and will continue to do so. You cant go wrong here!

I first bought a small hot tub because I didn’t know if my family would really use it enough. After 30 days we realized we should have bought a bigger one. Haven offers a 60 day upgrade policy and was fast to recommend a new tub that fit our family needs and get it ordered for us. We just had to pay the difference in cost. Our installers Steph and Justin were also super helpful and professional. Highly recommend this company!!

This is the third summer that we have been using Haven Pool and Hearth for our swimming pool needs. Even though we didnt purchase our above ground pool from them (only because we hadnt done enough research to know they were there!), they have been nothing but extremely helpful!! We have followed their directions every time and our pool looks awesome every summer! Bobby has went above and beyond to make sure we know what needs to be done and we follow the directions exactly. This is where we buy all of our spa supplies. Part of their customer service is to educate about the use and purpose of the chemical supplies. They are always helpful and my last visit was especially appreciated since they were just closing and Bobbie helped me patiently.

I have been extremely please with the customer service I have gotten over the last year from Haven Spa Pool & Hearth. Bobby has been very helpful with all aspects as I am a new hot tub owner. From the purchase to delivery Bobby has been very knowledgeable and gone out of his way to be helpful. He even stopped by my house on a Sunday to fix a jet my granddaughter had pulled off. Cant say enough about he or the company.

Very friendly, helpful staff who are there to answer any questions but are not pushy salespeople, which is a huge deal for me. We worked with Haven to replace our [very old] fireplace insert with a model that was within code. From working with Morgan in our initial walkthrough of the store, to coordinating with Kirk on a quote, to Stephans pre-site inspections (plural isnt usually necessary, but Stephan provided additional insight as to what we could/couldnt safely change for our project) and finally to Kyle and Nicks expert installation (which they did one-and-a-half times due to me changing my desired firebox height mid-project... sorry guys!). I would *highly* recommend everyone on this team, and we are thrilled with the result.

Haven is nothing short of amazing. I cant think of enough positive adjectives to say about them. Bobby really cares about his customers (Im sure they all do, but I mostly dealt with him) and about making sure you are making the right decision for you, not him. He even stopped me from making a purchase, and said to come back the next day to wet test it to make sure I liked it. Who else would do that? Talk about building relationships vice the one time sale. Needless to say we purchased our first hot tub and are very excited. Highly recommended, and make sure to ask for Bobby!

Kind of a bummer I would really like to like this place but each time I’ve been in it feels like the staff is very inconvenienced that they have to help you. I have both a spa, and a couple of Green Mountain Grills. As the closest dealer to my place of work, I try to support them by buying my GMG parts from them. This last time, (the first time they’ve actually had a GMG part, and not just order it for GMG’s website) it was the wrong part. It ended up being the wrong part, which was my fault for not realizing I had an older style grill. Come to find out, they also charged me $15 over GMG’s MSRP. When I went to return it, I was rudely told that they don’t take returns on electrical components, even though it was in the exact same packaging that they had sold it to me a week earlier in, and had clearly never been used or installed. I try to support local business when I can, but all of my spa and smoker business will now be done on amazon.

Dustin is literally a Gas Stove Maintenance Craftsman. For the past 7 years ive had my 1998 Gas Fireplace maintenance checked by Haven. Ive had several technicians to my home, and watched some of what they did. But, wow, Dustin, i mean, he took the thing apart, and thoroughly vaccumed and cleaned my fireplace. Polished the glass to perfection, fixed an issue on my fan for $30 on the spot, and wow, im all set for another year. Always use Haven for your gas fireplace maintenance, and maintain it at least once a year...and of course, ask for Dustin.

A few things. My wife and I have been shopping for a hot tub for quite sometime. For one reason or another, we ultimately leave because of pushy sales representatives. We live close to the store in Vancouver and decided to go there a few weeks ago. The sales representative was pleasant, professional and full of information about the products that they sold. We ultimately purchased a hot tub and had a great experience doing so. Fast forward...the day before, we get a call to let us know the window period of when they are going to deliver. Today, about a half an hour before delivery, I get a call from Justin asking politely if they can deliver early without any pressure. I was on my way home anyways so it wasnt an inconvenience at all. Justin and Steph arrive and began setting up. Mind you, it was 95 degrees at this time but they did so quickly and with a smile. These two guys are top notch people. Beyond their knowledge about the hot tub, they are coeurteous, respectful, professional and helpful. If anybody is reading this and you are interested in purchasing a hot tub, look no further. Go here and your experience will be glorious! Make sure you ask for Steph and Justin to deliver your product. Beyond exceptional!

My experience with this store was extremely disappointing. Prior to driving quite a distance to visit their store, I phoned the store to ask if they sold replacement parts for my Intex pool. The man who answered the phone was nice, yet very rushed (I called on a Sunday, so this seemed unusual). He asked for clarification for the parts I was looking for. Iprovided the title of the parts from the manufactures site and even offered to provide the part numbers. He said that wouldnt help, but that they had retro-fit parts in the store. I was surprised that they stocked the parts I needed as they were frame parts, but he assured me they had a whole wall of them. Excited, I rushed down to the store (over a 30 minutes drive one way, which I let the man on the phone know I was coming from Yacolt) only to discover that the older man behind the counter knew that the industry standard was not to sell these parts in any local store. He couldnt even help me to order them and purchase them for the store as this just isnt done. The company was not rude, but due to the miscommunication over the phone by the man who didnt want to really listen to what I was asking (I called another store after visiting theirs and they immediately told me that replacement parts for Intex pools must be purchased online), combined with the off putting nature of the older man I believe a 3 stars is a valid score for my experience. I realize that not everyone may have the same experience, however, had the man on the phone simply asked me for what part of the pool the parts were for it would have saved us both time and headache. I will, for my part, be reluctant to return to this store for anything.

We recently purchased our first hot tub from Haven Spa. Purchasing on impulse I was a bit nervous about style and brand. Randy our sales person was knowledgeable with an approach of understanding our budget and space limits quickly put us at ease with the purchase of our Artesian a Santa Cruz model. They did a pre-survey of our landscape and delivery. The two person team Steph and Julio were very professional, efficient and more importantly never left a trail of dust or debris at any time during the installation.. Once installed I received the best service from Bobby and Morgan regarding the maintenance of my spa and believe me I had many questions. They have been a huge lifesaver to this first time tub owner. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had been considering buying a hot tub for many years. Two years ago we started getting semi-serious. After looking at all the hot tubs at the Clark County Fair in 2015 we decided that we really liked the price and amenities of hot tubs being sold by Haven and, in particular, the knowledge and lack of pressure from their representative Bobby. In early 2018 my wife and I decided that it was time. We re-visited all of the local hot tub vendors but quickly decided that our initial impression of Haven (and ironically Bobby who happened to be at our local store) was correct. We purchased a hot tub that was everything we wanted: jets, configuration, lighting, knowledgable (no-pressure) sales, etc.Having had the positive experience of purchasing a hut tub from Haven, I was additionally pleased when it came time for delivery. The hot tub showed up two weeks early and delivery was scheduled for a time that easily fit my schedule. Steph and Justin were the guys who delivered the hot tub on time and with great care. After placing the hot tub (down a short hill in the backyard) Steph made sure that I knew what chemicals needed to be added to complete the setup while Justin took great care ensuring that the placement and cover were installed properly.Purchasing a hot tub from Haven was a great experience and I highly recommend giving them a try!Sincerely,Roger & Sally Pyles
