I worked with John to design and engineer my dream home in Portland. Very knowledgeable and good connections with many contractors.Johns blueprints are carefully created and his engineering helped save me construction costs.He made my house feel like a home. Innovative space design, beautiful kitchen my wife loves, comfortable floor plans, and good sunlight for my kids playroom.Highly recommend.

I hired John to inspect my property. I paid up front which is my mistake. He went on vacation and never got back to me with the information I paid for. when confronted, he said it would be an extra charge for any documentation or a re-visit of the site. I would not recommend working with John.2/4/2020: New development: John just called me and threatened to sue me for my truthful review on google also stating that he knows where I live.It may be safe to say that the intent was that I a client feel threatened. should I consider a restraining order??He also said that he will issue bad reviews for me..... uhh... he has never used my services, so that would just make him yet again not credible.

John was very difficult to work with, charged me for work i did not ask for, charged me for work he did not do, refused to review his work with me, made significant mistakes in his documents which he has refused to acknowledge or correct, kept architectural drawings which we agreed were reference only and to be returned. I would not use John in the future as he was dishonest and unprofessional.

The worst designer by far. He does not stand behind his work and he will charge arm $ leg for the very poor job he does. He spends more time in talking than doing. Stay away or else you are throwing your money away.

Had great experience with John, he listened to what we wanted and designed home of our dreams. Had no issues with his work.
