I have never worked with a staffing agency before, but a friend told me I should try Cody staffing in Vancouver. I went in and all were very friendly and made me feel at ease. I was working with in the week and Love the place I was sent to. I know it is a place I can be long term. I appreciate how smooth the whole process was. Thank you !!!

I approached Cody Staffing with the intent of starting work immediately. After a day of emailing back and forth with a recruiter, I had an interview the next day, followed by an offer for working at Dollar Tree Corporation the very next day!I found working for Dollar Tree in Ridgefield, WA as an Order Selector to be a very relaxed and stress free environment. Its typical warehouse work, so not much to say here. Also, management was awesome which was a plus.Now lets talk about the pay and benefits. The pay started at $15.50, which led to a raise a month later to $18.50. Youll get paid every Friday, and receive a pay stub via email. Once the first holiday of the year rolled through, I was expected to get paid for this day. However, to my surprise I was not compensated for holidays. So NO holiday pay here. According to their contract, you must work up to 520 hours to be bought out, but this can be negotiated if the organization you work for (Dollar Tree in my case) really wants to hire you on. Also, you earn sick leave at a rate of 1 hour per week. So thats it, no dental, medical, vision, and paid time off. You only accrue sick leave at a very low rate. So Id say if you really like the job, just knock out those hours ASAP. It should take you only 13 weeks, and hopefully you can get hired on with the company and receive all the other good benefits.Pros: Hired on VERY quickly, responsive, professionalCons: Lack of benefits such as paid time off, medical/dentalUpdate: Very disappointed to learn I wouldnt receive my sick pay. I was not briefed about this, and was told that I would be paid correctly when I submitted the request. When I saw my paycheck, I was not compensated due to WA 90 day policy. I didnt receive a phone call or anything.So I had to call them regarding my pay issue. When I was on the phone asking questions about my pay, another employee grabs the phone on their end without any introduction and accuses me of not putting in a 2 week notice, when in fact they responded to my resignation email prior! When I called them out on how inappropriate that was, they just said, Okay. Very rude, and unprofessional customer service here!

I’ve been working nearly a year with Cody Staffing. They are very good in communicating work schedules with at least a days notice. On the flip side, I have been able to schedule personal time off with appropriate notice. Working with other Cody Staffing associates has been enjoyable, specifically at AWC operations supporting Hyundai.

The Office crew at Cody have always been very supportive and helpful to my questions and needs, professional attitude and have always been able to find me temporary work in the daytime and swings .They have never been late in paying me and its always accurate tmeslips. I not like this place! They not treat you like a human they see you and all they think is make money out of you. They not care about your needs. They hire many Spanish speaking people. They dont even bother about having someone who can speaks in Spanish. This is wrong! I went to apply and they place me and my sister in a frieze. I was standing for more than 8 hours in a refrigerator.

Great temp service. Applied on a Friday and went to work the following Monday driving brand new automobiles. I usually work 40 hours a week and occasionally overtime. Been with Cody for three years and LOVE the staff in the office, and I get a paycheck every Friday. Whats not to like?

If you work with this company you had better hope you’re sent out to the right assignment because if it goes wrong you will be blamed and flagged even when not at fault. They also had prior recruiters who have falsified drug screening which is why the gresham office is no longer in operation!! The corporate office and owner is a joke who does nothing to ensure this company is reputable and maintains ethical work practices for employees and employers alike. Employees beware!

I’ve been with them for the past three years. Anytime I need work they get back to me within a day with a pile of jobs, I’ve never had so many choices. They work with my shcedule and look for jobs that work around it. The staff as Cody staffing are AMAZING, they are straight forwards and very helpful. Cody is good place to work. Auto WAREHOUSE company is ok place to work as long as you work in Portland and for a temp service not for the actual company and Not the Vancouver yard. They are not nice to temp employees and thier upper management is not fair to temp workers.

I was met at the front office by Angelica who was super friendly. I proceeded to an interview with Billy Jo after initial paperwork was completed. Billy Jo gets things done. I had a job interview within two hours of talking with her. I had another interview the next morning. I was hired and start my new job next week. I also met Lisa who is an account manager at the new job site. She is very professional and highly articulate. I wish I had discovered them a long time ago. Nothing but good things to say about my experience working with Cody Staffing. I called about an advertised job, scheduled an interview very soon, and was told I could start working the very next day. They have the whole process to get you working very streamlined. Scheduling your work around doctor appointments or other commitments is very simple and flexible. You get paid every Friday, and my direct deposit goes through very early in the day. The only slight inconvenience is that you dont know if you will have work the next day until the end of your workday, but that is the nature of working for any temp agency. I have recommended this agency to several friends, and will continue to do so!

I highly recommend Cody Staffing to any entry level applicant. I was able to immediately get full time temp employment, near my home, in a field I had no prior experience in. In three months I was hired on. Billi Jo was very friendly and helpful all along the way. However, if you do have prior experience, you may be better off (in terms of pay) skipping the temp step.

MAJORITY of the positive reviews are written by Cody employees or friends/family just like the reviews you see on a lot Dealership review boards. Keep track of your hours. They have shorted me before. If they cant get you a guaranteed full-time job where you have a SET schedule, dont waste your time unless youre desperate for money or are in between REAL jobs. I was hired for a full-time position and some MONTHS, only worked for 5 - 7 days.

Definitely worth checking out if your job hunting. Called one day, interviewed the next, and was working the next day. Great job, fairly easy work where I am. Variable hours sometimes, but Ive worked 5 days a week for 2 weeks now and love the job and the hours and the freedom to know I can take a day or 2 off if I need and still go back to work when ready. Ive worked alot harder with screwed hours for less money before than I do here, plus any income is better than no income, and I can still look for other jobs while employed.Nothing bad you can say about that.

Employed by Cody staffing for almost two months now and I can say I really enjoy it. The staff are friendly and work with you and are really understanding. There are a lot of reviews on here saying not to try the staffing company but I say that everyones experience is different because Ive had nothing but an amazing experience here.

This is a horrible place to work for. I worked for the company themselves in 2018 and the experience was so horrible I didnt last a month before I quit. Mark is the VP and he is a disgusting micromanager who has a problem with women and anyone of color. He blatantly said not to put a black man / hispanic up for a job he is qualified for if I think his race wont fit the vibe of the company. They also falsified drug tests so that someone who tested dirty would still qualify for the job. The truth is they do not have enough people good enough to fill the positions they are given so they place people who eventually fail.

Absolutely an amazing staffing agency to work with..I highly recommend them too any and everyone..it only took Them a week to staff me at a job that I stayed on for almost two years, and when I wanted to leave and be staffed somewhere else Billie Joe immediately found me another place to be employed.it also doesnt hurt to have such a BEAUTIFUL staff working over at Cody as well.lol.. In my six months plus with cody staffing Ive only been without a job for 2 days at the most, they have had constant, steady, good work. The staff is always friendly and welcoming when I pick up my check. Overall cody staffing is a great company and Id recommend them to anyone who needs a good job.

This has to be the WORST staffing agency I have come across ever. They are doing a lot of things the wrong way when your client calls and lets you know they are not alright with a job the staffing agency usually understands and helps that client find more work. This place is all about the slave labor and making their clients do CRAP work for the least amount of money possible. If you are looking for anything over minimum wage then I am sorry to say this place is not for you. This is obviously the WORST staffing agency in Vancouver WA. If you want a real down to earth staffing agency there are plenty more to try in the area but this one is a NO GO.

They didnt even get my name or information before i was told they have no job openings, just because I said I had no transportation. And then she hung up on me. Luckly for Cody Staffing, I can only rate 1-5 stars. I Cant even rate negatively, or at least half a star.

What a joke. I applied recently and they told me they needed people who had there own transportation and were reliable. My friend got his second job through them after calling in 3 of his first 5 days and getting fired from his first assignment. There willing to give people like him a second chance but not other people a first chance?They also have everyones information who has ever applied, available to anyone who is going to apply there.I was filling out an application and the AutoFill settings were bringing up other peoples names, Adresses and phone numbers.I have never seen that before.

Treated horribly by Billy jo. Hung up on me when I asked to take me out of system. Treated me like a drug addict because *gasp* I admitted the reefer was in my system. Pot is legal. If you companies dont like it, move to a state it isnt recreationally legal. This temp agency is garbage anyway. Blessing in disguise I dont have to go through them.

This place is a waste of time. They are very unprofessional. Just a bunch of eye candy attractive women that have no clue about staffing. They are so disorganized it is scary they get anything done. They places looks like it was opened yesterday and lacks true professional organization.

I have worked threw them for a year now and they are awesome. They have always helped me to get the best job possible . I am thankful for all they have done over the past year to help me succeed.

Cody Staffing has done a great job for us. We have used them to hire numerous temp to hire employees. They are great at sending competent, qualified employees.

My experience with them was terrible. Everyone that i worked with that went through cody said the same as well. Really makes me wonder if all their 5 star ratings are put on here by cody employees. My advise is stay away, but if they have a job ready for you, make sure you watch these scam artists for what they really are. Snakes.

This is the worst staffing agency in Vancouver! They oversold the job and under delivered. They told me I would be working at a friendly up to date office that was dog friendly. It was actually a micro-managed call center with one dog which belonged to a manager on an ego trip. When I called in to let the unnamed staffing rep know I was quitting she kept inquiring as to why. I asked her when I could pick up my check, and she said we would do an exchange on payday of my key card for my check. She got upset when I attempted to clarify the pay schedule, and told me I was going to HAVE to stop. I explained to her she had no authority to tell me what do. She then hung up on me after explaining I was not fired. This place prays on poor desperate people so they can manipulate them into working crappy jobs they take part of the hourly wage for. Also, VERY inconsistent on hiring practices. Some people had to take tests and others did not. Some people had to take U.A.s and some did not. Word of advice for Cody Staffing, without a staff, you have no job, so maybe you should reevaluate how you treat your source of income.

They were very quick to get me working and serious about helping me get a good job. Billi jo has been extremely helpful and supportive and made sure i gpt my fopt in the door of a great company.
