A bit of a wait but Jennifer searched that post office top to bottom trying to find my mail which I super appreciate. The people waiting in line, however, complaining about the wait time, saying they should get more help, etc... were the least pleasant part of my trip to the post office. A lot of mail goes through here, theyre doing their best and people shouldnt complain about it taking a long time when theyre doing us a favor and keeping our mail safe.

The line for picking up packages is usually pretty long on the weekends, but today there wasnt a line. I was able to go right to the window and pick up my packages. I am sure people are out of town for the 4th.

Be prepared for hour or more long wait times, employees that move slow (probably because they dont care), no answer to any phone calls, and just down right poor service. I HATE having to come here!

Make sure when you visit this USPS specifically to have time to wait in line. There is usually a long line thag wraps around to the sidewalk out front. Have everything ready that they need so you arent the person making the line take so long. Sign your forms ahead of time and show the proper ID!

Do you like 7 parking spots? A line of over 10 people outside in the sun that doesnt move more than 1 person forward every 10 minutes? Well this is the spot for you! If I was a trucker my arms would be the same shade it took so long to get inside.I understand usps is horribly under funded because of the Trump regime, but come on, this needs fixed.

The truth is its not bad service. Problem is we have a post office much closer and for some reason I have to go almost up to mill plain. The reason I have to go at all is someone hit our mail boxes, I think there were 9 or 12 together for the street I live on and was told it would be like 4 to 6 months before they can fix or replace it. So needless to say we have to go all the way up to the post office that the farthest.

This place is the absolute antithesis of good service. Ive gone in three times to get my new mail key, twice it wasnt there, the third time it was, but when I came home, it didnt fit into the lock. When I try to call them, they put me on hold for a few minutes, then hang up. Not to mention each time I go, there is a 20-60 minute wait. We have bills in our mailbox that have been there for over a week now, that we cannot pay because of their utter incompetence. I dont usually leave reviews, much less bad reviews, but this place ignites an anger in me that I didnt even know existed.

Had really good service. Went in to have our new home mailbox rekeyed, gave them the proper paperwork and they said theyd take care of it. Robert called me back the very next morning barely 24 hours later with the job done and keys ready to pick up. I could not appreciate the service more, they did a really great job for me.

In concept this is a good idea: you cannot purchase postage here so you cant mail out anything here that doesnt have a shipping label already on it so it really is only a package and mail PICK Up center only. But there is only 1 window manned by 1 person so to get your package, you are waiting in line a good 40min (outside btw) if you go anytime after 3 and sometimes before that during the holidays. They need a second window and another person to man it

One clerk to retrieve packages when there should have been two or three because there was a line almost out in the parking lot and it took fourty five minutes because the mail carrier couldnt fit package in apt. Mail box. And the address given to recover put you in another apartment complex.

Absolutely terrible location. Good luck trying to pick up a simple package in under an hour. They clearly do not have the staffing to handle the amount of people who are coming in to pick up packages. It takes up to 15 minutes for each person theyre helping. They only ever have 1 person at the desk, and they move incredibly slow even on their busiest days. I am fed up, but will have to continue using this location as they dont seem able to deliver any of my packages to me.

Very long line out towards main road on 136th. Waited outside in line for 30 mins before entering building. Waited a total of 40 mins before being helped. There was still a long line behind me when I left. People were parking in yellow & red zones because there werent any parking spaces left. Customer service was good, just a long time to wait outside in the cold with rain & hail. No cover to hide under thanks to the line & social distancing.

I visited the post office today because my mom sent me a package using my old address. It has the same ZIP code so it uses the same distribution center. I previously visited this distribution center on Friday and was told to leave my number and that someone would call me. When no one called me I went ahead and returned to talk to Josh. My visit was short. I had one main question and giving the context for that question only took a few seconds. Josh was atrocious. I needed to know if there were a way to hold my package at the distribution center or forward it to my new address, without incurring additional postage charges. I had already filed a change of address to hopefully catch it before it was returned to sender but this would cost extra and Id still have to pick it up. Josh suggested I try a package intercept and I said that when I had last visited the website to track the package there was no option for a package intercept that I could see. When I asked him to quickly help me find the option for a package intercept he first insisted that it would take too long but I already had the website pulled up by the time he finished that sentence. He then turned to the lobby and loudly apologized and said looks like this is going to take a while folks with an eye roll before glancing at my phone and seeing that there is no option for a package intercept. Instead of apologizing for giving me false information or giving me another avenue to try he just sighed and waved his arms around in an exasperated manner. He then suggested I could leave a note for a carrier as a last resort but said carriers often throw the notes away because they arent important. He had me step away from the counter to write the note, which in and of itself is not a problem, but he again turned to the rest of the lobby and said you need to step aside because I need to get this line moving. As I was writing the note which may or may not be thrown away he was also rude to the person behind me. She used the word lackadaisical to describe his approach to her problem.

I dred having to stop here to pick anything up. The parking lot is awful. Only holds about 6 or 7 cars. Because of covid only 3 people allowed in. Only 1 window, that means long lines outside and that means no parking. People were parking in the fire lanes and field across from the post office.

A task as simple as opening on time seems to be a huge problem here. Nobody answers the phone, and they should change their hours since they dont open at 9am. If you show up here when theyre supposed to open, then prepare to wait for somebody to care enough to open for business.

If I could rate this place negative stars, I would! The worst post office EVER!!!! ALWAYS slow, ALWAYS losing mail, the parking lot holds maybe 7 vehicles. Now with social distancing, you have to wait in a long line outside. Well guess what its winter here in the PNW and what do we get a whole heck of alot of... RAIN! SO NOW.... we wait in a long slow line out in the cold rain!!!

The individuals Ive interacted with at this post office have been relatively nice and polite. Everything else about their system is complete trash. No one ever answers the phone. I dont even know if the number online is correct because of this. And they cant figure out where peoples packages are to save their lives.

Just dropped off a slip in the mail slot at my office for a missed delivery and disappeared as quick as you please without even attempting to actually deliver the package. I have spoken to the mail carriers several times because they keep doing this and we are here in the office to take packages, but they just refuse to deliver packages to us for some reason. Its really sh*** of them to make me go down to the post office every freaking time a get a package delivered just because they are too lazy to try.

This place is horrible so are the mail men. I have to pick up packages all the time from them because they are too lazy to delivery them too me. I then went to drop a bunch of things into the blue box yesterday and it was so full I had to dig what I could out and put them in different ones. They have bad customer service they steal peoples packages and the supervisor act like she don’t know how to do her job Tried to tell me to contact sender when the merchant did their job and sent out the package once it get to the post office is their responsibility and my package still say is there they are very rude very inconsiderate and I feel like they need evaluation on the way they do things, because I had too many packages stolen and not delivered to me.

Its a post office. What can you rate really? They dont sell postage or stamps here, just package/mail pick up and key replacements on group mailboxes. Bring your checkbook, they dont take cards. Slow, but the line moves so?? Itd be nicer if they at least got a self-service postage machine and another window? Seems not really set up for customer service.

I ordered a textbook for my schooling. I got an email saying they attempted to deliver but there was no secure location, which is fine, they notified me. But I had to reach out to the 3rd party seller from amazon, Amazon, and USPS. I didnt hear back for days about my package about where it was or any other information other than the fact they attempted a delivery, that I could just come and pick it up. I got a voicemail saying they couldnt leave it here because my apt complex office is closed, I just wish they would have told me when they sent the email that they couldnt leave it here, that I could pick it up, and WHERE I could pick it up. I had to jump through hoops to do this. Its been over 2 weeks since I ordered and over a week since they tried to deliver. They also could have left an email since thats how I reached out, along with a voicemail. I was expecting to hear through email. Communication sucks.Also over the year we have lived here I have been missing mail and given like everybody elses mail in the complex. They dont put it in correct mailboxes, its like they dont even look. Thats awesome when youre waiting for a card or for a check!! I have had to go to the office so many times and complain about mail, theyve asked me to report this on the USPS website and open a case about it as it has happened to everyone in the complex multiple times and many of us have complained, thinking if enough of us do this it would change something. Mail is not something thats just ok to leave in someone elses mailbox, literally like they dont even look at it. Sometimes its not even the right building number!! Or I get 12 instead of 1. I dont know how many things of mine other people have gotten and tossed out while Im wondering where its at.

Have had multiple issues with mail delivery lately. Last package wouldnt fit in my box and the one big box in our community mailbox was full so instead of trying again tomorrow they left a final delivery notice to come pick it up at the office. So I did, and it wasnt even at the post office. Here were are over a week later and still no package in my box or at the office and they cant EVER answer their phone. Long lines, one person at a time. Super inefficient. If you can avoid this office, I would.

This is the worst post office service I have ever received. I am a veteran and they constantly hire individuals that have personal vendettas against the veteran population. If you are a veteran and you get medications, they will not deliver your medications. They will lie to cover up for each other because they are too lazy to find honest individuals with a conscious. The carriers they hire are rude and act psychotic at times by not delivering your package and then lying about it because they are too lazy to come to the door. If they do not like you they will drive past you and not acknowledge you. If you have medications pick them up from the pharmacy. Never ask them to mail you the medications because they will never deliver them. I witnessed a substitute carrier not deliver my medications and laugh about it as they drive past your home. If service is like this I do not need their services. If they do not correct this I will be going to the media and I will be speaking with the postmaster general.

Theyre called the Detached Carrier Unit because they are detached from caring about you or your mail. Good luck if you have missing mail or packages. They will take your name and number and say they will call you, but Im pretty sure they just add it to a pile on a desk in the back. Its the government so they dont have to care or even act like they care. Honestly Im surprised my mail gets to me.

My mail carrier is the worst. I’ve complained multiple times, I had mail in my mailbox for 5 days and they left me a nasty note. I get it, I had an issue before and then corrected it and the one time I missed getting my mail before 5 days they sent it back to the post office. I tried calling them multiple times and kept hanging up. This is the WORST! Considering selling my house just so I don’t have to deal with the post person or the office.

They do not answer their phones. At this point I am unable to access my mail at all because they either changed my lock (which there is no reason for it to have been changed, but this is the USPS so anything is possible) or blocked the latch with a large package that should never have been placed in the small box. So here I am, day three attempting to get this resolved and have not been able to get in contact with ANYONE...When I first moved to this address last summer I went to this office, as it is the one in charge of my area, and I was told they could not give me the keys to my box. I was told I had to wait at my mail box for the mail to be delivered and talk to that person. SO in the middle of the week I was expected to just sit at this mailbox hoping I catch the delivery person so I could get my keys to my box in the first place.This defunct, poorly operated organization cannot go out of business soon enough. USPS is absolutely AWFUL to deal with EVERYWHERE I have been. This is why it has been so easy for other companies to take their business and will easily continue to do so.

My USPS tracking stated they delivered my package to my locked parcel box. There was no package there. I called multiple times for 2 weeks to reach someone and they never pick up the phone. I called again over the weekend and they still did not pick up. I finally had some time to get there for them to tell me the same thing the tracking said-- delivered to parcel box and they stated they had nothing there. The line was not long nor were they very busy at all. Are they stealing packages? I read the reviews here and others have the same issues with packages. Why dont they ever pick up their phone? This is the most horrendous USPS I have ever dealt with. Avoid getting any package sent to you by USPS if this office is your location. Have your packages sent via UPS or Fedex or you take the risk of your belongings being lost.

This place is terrible. The whole mail system on Vancouver is all messed up. Ive lived from San Diego to Washington all over the west coast, I should know.These drivers cant get my mail correct, they let other people put holds on my mailAnd yesterday this location handed my mail to somebody else who wasnt me!!You guys are completely terrible. I dont even want to use usps anymore and I used to be a faithful loyal customer for YEARS! Very unhappy with Vancouver USPS!!! You are doing illegal things with my mail. Best rural carriers in the area! They work extremely long hours. And no matter what time of time night/day, what kind of weather (sleet, rain, snow, thunder storms, hail, blistering heat) they always deliver. Despite the other comments, I commend these Carriers for their hard work and dedication to the job! I challenge ANYONE to do the work these carriers do, on a daily, and then still continue to make the same complaints. Its not an easy job by any means. Thank you carriers and clerks for all you do for our community!

Three months so far I have been waiting for a key to my mailbox. I did not lose my key I moved to a new house where the property management didnt have a key for our local mailbox and told me to request one fromthe post office. Its been 12 weeks to this day and all they can say is we will get to it when we get to it. We put in the order and have no way of telling you when it will be done. Feel free to come on down and collect your mail every day from the post office! RidiculousEdit: finally the local mail man came to my house and told me my key was ready but its at the post office. Would have been great of the guy could have dropped it off when they swapped out the lock considering my house is right in front of the mailbox but whatever Im happy I finally am able to get my key. Only took 6 months... Leaving the one star

This post office is awful. My street gets mail delivered to the wrong houses constantly. Im missing mail thats supposed to have been delivered. I didnt receive my voters pamphlet this time OR last time in addition to my other mail thats missing. Ive been calling since 4:40 with no answer, even though theyre open until 5:00. Ive spoken to them in person about these issues, and over the phone in the past. I would give them less stars if that was an option.

Scheduled a pick-up via the USPS web site on 5/30. Four packages were to be picked up from my residence on 5/31. The carrier never attempted coming to the door, yet marked it in their system as successfully picked up. So, I called the East Vancouver Carrier Unit to let them know of this problem. They assured me that they would send someone out to pick up the packages. Nobody ever showed up, so now all my packages will be late getting to their destinations. What a waste of money paying $17.00+ for priority 2-day shipping and then they are no shows. Not happy.

It was a post office I had to go to to pick up mail, because of a rash of breakins at my apt complex. Otherwise, I would not come to this place to do post office errands. Sadly, I too have to make the same review. For two weeks now, my package has been bounced around from two areas of Vancouver, up to Kennewick, Seattle, then back down again, only to have to bounced around the city much like politicians bounce their ideology and beliefs. The phone service is as useless as the humans running the desks and the mail carriers cant even give you a satisfactory Im sorry when things do not arrive on time. And people wonder why no one likes using the post office anymore. Seriously, unless its a post card, these workers have no idea how to properly perform their jobs.

This post office does not provide postage, so if you are wanting to drop off a package or mail and buy postage for it there, you will be unable to. You are only able to drop off already paid postage letters or packages.

The thing I dont understand is if these USPS locations are consistently receiving awful feedback, why dont they update their customer service? The current system is not favorable for the visitor or the employee.I invite the regional manager to speak with me anytime and I could give you a breakdown of easy wins to improve performance. If youre not open to speaking with your costumers then you doing it completely wrong.
