If you’re looking for event hair and makeup TimothyJohn Salon does an amazing job! They have a room full of very talented ladies and made my wedding party and I feel so beautiful on 8.21.21! A wedding day can be very stressful, especially when it comes to being on time and having hair & makeup last all day long. For my wedding day there were 14 women all getting hair, makeup & lashes done. We were on time and everything lasted all day! Thank you Timothy John Salon for doing such a great job and making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! 10/10 would recommend to any bride!

I don’t leave reviews often but I had to after the amazing wax I just had by Shelly. It was the quickest, most painless, and thorough Brazilian wax I’ve EVER had (and I’ve been waxed in major cities across the country and world!). I was in and out in 10 MINUTES and experienced NO pain during the session. I am amazed. Shelly is the epitome of a professional; I could not recommend better!!

Good customer service, but I didn’t like the way my hair turned out. I asked for a balayage but I ended up with highlights. I told her I didn’t want a golden brown on my hair, but that is how my hair turned out looking. I ended up damaging my hair and didn’t get the hair I wanted. I expected something way better for the price I paid.

Ive go to Sharon for my nails and she does a great job of making both my feet and hands look great. I usually only get pedicures, but for another $12 you can get a manicure. Kind of hard to pass that up! She now has me hooked on the gel nail polish because of how long it lasts, without having to do touch ups. I also go to Shelly for facials and waxing my brows. She is does a great job as well! The facials not only my my skin look great, but they are so relaxing.

My wife went here some time ago to have her hair dyed. Her scalp got a chemical burn. When she called to ask for a refund the manager told my wife, OK, but well have to take it out of [the stylists] pay and she is a single mother. Needless to say my wife declined the refund after being guilt tripped by these charlatans.

Cathy always gives a great pedicure and is very pleasant to talk to.

Yesterday I had my hair done by Shelby D. And I wanted to leave a review because I travel all over United States and always get my hair done at Aveda salon’s and honestly she did a wonderful job cutting my hair.

Took a number of different salons to find someone that could do a modern cut for a middle aged man. See Shelby. Does a consistently good job!! 👍👍

This pedicure was $37 + tip ($8). I won’t name names but I won’t go back.I will add that the front counter woman did not add value in any way to my experience.

Emma & Katie (Reetz) came on site to do bridal party hair for all the ladies in my wedding and myself a couple of weeks ago. They did a phenomenal job! I know it can be hard to please a large group who all has such different hair, but they pulled it off. I visited Timothy John Salon today (the first day re-opening following Illinois Phase 3 guidelines). The staff and my stylist were all wearing face masks and handwashing/handsanitizing frequently. I was really impressed at their professionalism! The procedure for the appointment was very clear and easy to follow: 1) emailed to schedule an appointment, 2) called from the parking lot at the appointment time, 3) staff let me in the building, took my temperature (forehead) and provided hand sanitizer at check-in and when I paid. My stylist, Luba, was very knowledgeable and listened to how I wanted my hair cut. Overall, it was a comfortable, relaxed experience. Thank you for making me feel safe and pampered during my appointment!

A very cozy place and the staff is very professional. They are nice and do not treat you like a bother like some of the borics in town. You also feel like you are in good hands and not getting a cut from a someone hired off the street.

I can be pretty picky with salons and I have been here for two different services and have been very happy with both. First, I had Kathy a few weeks back to do an Express shellac manicure and she was so friendly and did such a great job. My nails were beautiful and I barely even realized we were done because she is so easy to talk to and I was so caught up in our conversations. Today, I got my hair dyed with one of the newer staff members, Kaleigh. I explained what I wanted and she got the color mixed and it was so perfect! I am so obsessed and its going to be a perfect fall/winter color. She also is very sweet and easy to talk to. Also, the prices seem very reasonable especially for a salon that carries aveda and eminence organics. I will definitely be returning.

I cant say enough great things about this salon and especially Kylie!! She is AMAZING. The only reason I wouldnt recommend her is because I dont want to get the word out on just how awesome she is and risk having to wait months to get an appointment with her!!

They did a great job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. They also did all of my bridesmaid’s hair and my mother and my mother in law’s hair! They traveled out to our venue (Pear Tree Estate). I had people complimenting my hair and makeup all night :)

Sad that we are now moving away, and Ill have to find another salon!

Just had my hair cut by Luba. She was excellent. Very professional. She was not overly chatty which for me is a big plus. I like to relax during a haircut, not feel like Im in an interview.
